Wow! What a story the CVs told today. So the truth is finally out and everyone seems to be just as they should be, or anyone would be.
So let's see a lot happened today. This maybe a long post so go ahead only if you want to read.
Ishwari.
Her contrasting colours were shown today. I had always thought that ishwari's acceptance seemed genuine so what will make her turn. Seems like dev's lie backfired completely. His lie became the reason that made ishwari come back to character. One point here I always thought that would it be so easy that a lie would ultimately mend this complicated relationship and dev wouldn't have to lift a finger. And what kind of msg would go if one lie could solve everything that too such a big one. But looks like CVs are way ahead. The good the Bliss was only for one and half day. Now it has raised its ugly head to destroy everything it created. It wont be easy.
Coming back to ishwari. So when she hears them, she thinks sonakshi was the one who lied (obviously she doesn't hear the most crucial part sona says just after that). What I couldn't blame her for was feeling betrayed by sonakshi. She really thinks (with no small contribution of Gkb) that sona lied to her when she had just begun to accept and love her. But we all know love when conditional is never strong enough. And here though not a condition but a catalyst for sure became a bigger issue. Here I lost ishwari. That dialogue 'kya sonakshi ne yeh sab janne ke baad bhi dev se shadi kar li ' clearly explains her stance. She herself says that she accepted sona then because of her son. And had she known she would have accepted this condition of sona's too.( though I doubt it). But anyhow once again now she sees sonakshi as her rival who can never complete the house, make her dadi, fill dev's life blah blah. And thus we get the old issue back with her insecurities stronger than ever. Her son once again overpowering everything.
One more dialogue of her about that biwi ki pallu and ma ka anchal... Anyone felt that it was so rhetoric? It's actually exactly opposite? I laughed at that. So issue back to square one protecting her son.
Sona.
The fall she had in the hall and bedroom, her 'mera baby kabhi nahi ayega ' and 'mujhe labour pain chahiye'...just couldn't have been better portrayed. She too spoke exactly what we thought she would. That they started a relationship on a lie...how far would it go? Her and ma's relation comes later..right now she is more scared for them. These kind of lie break families break couples... The truth gives them strength of a lifetime. Now how will they save themselves from shattering? I really really loved this part
It's exactly how I imagined it. For any couple it's a big news. It would take some to to get their bearings right. They have to accept it first... Individually too. Dev hasn't really dealt with it fully remember? And sona just got to know. So that dev walking out when sona started talking to mom... I just couldn't agree more.
Somehow I feel as many have said. They are not letting their emotions out yet. With the lie hanging over their head. Ishu will be the key for this. Her reaction at temple and thereafter. This will bring them together. That scare that someone could separate them. And if I am sure of anything dev will be the dev we want this time. That conversation long overdue about ishwari's fears and hold over them is fast approaching I think. But I am sure they will get through of that at least I have no doubt. And we will get some beautiful devakshi scenes.
Dev.
He spoke exactly as he should today. The fear he has had within himself from that day. That people will know about this they won't let them be together. He knows his mother all too well. Or sona would herself distance herself. He knows sona in and out too. I just silently applauded at these two dialogues today. Loved it. And yes his reason for not letting lie came out is ishwari"s concern but a bigger one is that fear of someone taking sona away from him. Of loosing sona.
This track so remind me of breakup. Its like I was in a timeloop again today. That much needed conversation will happen now I think. I feel. When their deepest fears will be addressed by them. It has too. And the tipping point would start from ishwari's trio to the temple. I just waiting for story to build until then.
So I feel finally the track has headed for the route we wanted. And I am sure it will deliver. The show has a way. Everytime after a not so good episode when I doubt it it has a way of reeling me back in. So I here for the whole ride no matter what. I found the episode beautiful today. Hitting at the crux of everything.
And one more dimension of this was bijoy... That there is no right time to tell this truth, that everyone will blame her not him, that fear that dev will again leave sona for mom... All of it couldn't have been more on point. It brought out the crux of story which had been brushed under the carpet until right now.
Now let's see what happens but I am really excited. Just two more things...one when ishwari is walking with papers in hand... Brilliantly shot. It gave me chills almost. And secondly ishwari scene didn't seem out if place. It was not showing or focusing on her pain... Rather showing her character now. Inside her mind. And it was very important.
