How many of you have seen PK? Well, probably all of you have seen it and if you haven't, please go see it. It's an awesome movie.

There was a concept in PK that is very relevant to this show's track but in reverse.

The concept was WRONG NUMBER!!!

In one scene where Aamir Khan is explaining the concept of God through parents, he says, "If you go tell your parent that your wife is sick, will your parents say that climb mountains, walk miles and go to my home in remote location and tell me the exactly the same thing and then I will solve your problem or the loving parent will say that why are you whining in front of me, your wife needs you so take care of her."

The point was that a loving parents won't put conditions in front of you on what you will have to do to make them happy. A loving parents will ask you to take your own decisions or offer to help with your decision and will support you in whatever you ultimately decide.

Why this concept is relevant here?

Well here, Dev considers Ishwari as the Goddess. The real God is not important for him. Everything he does, someway, somehow gets back to her being in the centre.

So if Ishwari was indeed a Goddess (or saint like person), she will think, "If I am feeling so bad for not being a grandmother, where I have three more daughters who can give me grandkids, then how Sonakshi might be feeling for not being able to be a mother of even one child. How Dev must be feeling for not being able to be a father? They must be devastated."

But instead, as per spoiler, she gives ultimatum, "Get the fertility treatment done."

Really? God wants His children to be happy. Wrong Numbers rule by fear and social norms.

Is this true God? Or is this WRONG NUMBER? I will let you guys decide.

And if this is a Wrong Number, then Dev and Sona should take PK's advice and chase the real deal, not the wrong number.

EPISODE:

Dev reveals Sona's infertility and Sonakshi breaks down. Dev tells her that he only wanted to have her. It didn't matter whether she could get pregnant or not.

Me: Sure, Dev. That's why you tried to bribe the doctor to do her infertility treatment behind her back.

Dev said that he didn't tell any of their parents because then they won't have allowed them to get married.

I was hearing a 5 year old telling his buddy, "I didn't tell my mummy and your mummy that you have HIV because then they won't let us play together."

And here I thought they were adults.

Dev tells Sona not to tell Ishwari the truth because her heart will break.

I was hearing, a teenager telling his friend to hide the fact that he has shoplifted and be accomplish to his crime, so that his mother doesn't get hurt. Never mind the fact that he has already hurt his mother when he committed the crime in the first place.

I'd totally believe you Dev when you say all you wanted was Sonakshi's happiness the same day I buy a beachfront property in Arizona. Because you might THINK you want Sona's happiness, but your actions are exactly opposite of that.

When we want someone's happiness, we don't lie and deceive them and ask them to continue the lie.

Take note young men and women, if your husband or wife wants you to do something wrong, regardless of motive, use your brain and your morality that your parents might have taught you and DON'T DO IT.

As usual though, Radha spouts poison and Ishwari swallows it. She overhears them and as I have predicted, conveniently put all blame on Sonakshi never once thinking that if Dev was so innocent, then why didn't he reveal it to her or how he announced that Sona was pregnant when he went to get the report?

Bijoy Bose seems the only one with brain. He has caught the same line of thought that some of us was saying. Sonakshi, only if you had listened to your Dad's wise wise wisdom. He advised what I had advised/predicted for Sona. He knew that family better than Sonakshi who lived with them. He knew how Ishwari and entire Dixit clan will react and he also knew Dev's lack of spine when it comes to speaking/admitting the truth in front of his mother and family and his much stronger voice when he speaks lies.

Sonakshi reveals the full truth and Asha is heartbroken. But not to worry. They are not the Wrong Number parents. They are absolutely right kind of supportive parents.

Ishwari then starts what I said she'd do - Bad mouthing Sona and placing all blame on her.

Now you all recall when I said that no one has ever benefited from lies? What Dev got Sona with his lies? Did he get her happiness, did he get her a child? Did he get her Ishwari's love?

No. He only got her a giant stain on her character without any fault of her own. That's precisely why I wanted the truth to be revealed by Sona fast and immediately. She has the right to heartbreak, but since her husband is not trustworthy, she should have spoken the truth because Dev can't speak the truth.

Even if Dev tells the entire family that he hid everything, they won't believe him. They will think that he is lying to protect his wife. That's the consequence of lying that even when you are speaking the truth, no one will believe you.

But Dev won't be in the dog house. No. He is the money making machine.

It's Sona who will be treated like crap and only one person is responsible for her heartbreak, her insult, her loss of dignity - it's the so-called true love of her life, Dev.

A husband protects a wife's honour and dignity. But when he himself causes dishonour on his wife, then what use is that husband?

Let today's episode be an eye opener for all unmarried women.

1. A man who lies for trivial things, will lie for big things. Don't say then that you didn't see it coming.

2. Honour is an old-fashioned word but an honourable man makes a far better husband than one who deceives hence lacks honour.

An honourable man will tell the truth and stand firm beside the person they love.

A dishonourable man will lie and drag you down to the same pit he is digging for himself.

3. Don't justify a lier when he says he lied for someone else's good. Because someone else's good must be decided by someone else. No one else has the right to decide what is good for someone else.

I am so disappointed with today episode.

CV's again answered fans via Asha.Said Sona is not abla nari.

This track is all about Ish n her pain.Ish mission to save her Son from Sona.If this does not wake up Dev.That his mom is not what she projects. Then I don't know what to say.Only hope is Bijoy.Asha should not stop him.Better Bijoy come n take Sona forcefully to her house.

Tia I have not yet watched PK will try and watch it. About 'Wrong Number' I love the analogy I think personally I have been dialing one ever since I vested my time on this show..The only silver lining being I dialed a wrong number but made a lot of strangers into friends😊
P.S One of my resolutions for 2017... I dont make many is to live for myself... I started my resolution already went and got a short hair cut..feel free already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I am sure I will after I no longer invest my time in a show which has lost all meaning for me😉

One more thing
I did say that this show was about
Easwari- The supreme Goddess
Dev- The one who worships the Goddess and
Sona- Just the gold which adorns both of them has literally come true..Now I am feeling good about going to Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CVs can say whatever they want out of Asha's mouth, but Bijoy Bose is more intelligent than Asha. I doubt Dev will see his mother's true face even now. And if Sonakshi agrees for fertility treatment because of Ishwari instead of dumping a lier for a husband, she deserves to be treated as doormat.

Bang on!

Bijoy is the only sensible person right now.. I hope he comes and takes away his daughter from that drama house..

As for Ishwari, it's so easy for her to get convinced by GKB's words.. Arey yaar, go inside, confront Sona and confirm the truth.. What's up with this eavesdropping always and making stupid assumptions..

And Dev, Congratulations.. As usual, your good intentions have resulted in Sona being scolded..

Same with me. Tomorrow is my last daily post. I just can't take this weak, doormat woman which Sona has become. I wanted her to throw Dev out of the room, scream, shout whatever, but she is still on the "what will we tell mummyji" track. What is more heartbreaking for you Sonakshi? The fact that you can never carry a baby within you or see your and Dev's own child or the fact that the prime opportunity to score points with in-laws will not come again? Priorities are all skewed here.

Good for you, Sabita. Enjoy your new short hair. I am looking forward to our Mexico trip in March. 8 days of unlimited food, drinks, sun, sea and pampering... Can't wait. 😃

P.S. Definitely watch PK. Outstanding movie.

Excellent post tia! Today was a really frustrating episode. They have decided to stretch this track as much as possible.

As per spoilers they agree to some conditions of ishs. Seeing a strong educated girl come to her knees just for the man she loves is very disturbing. I don't know why we have to wait till a bijoy or dev take a stand for her. She has to take one herself. If this is what love reduces one to I don't what to say!

On the whole as I keep saying sonas characterization has disappointed me the most. What a shame!

@Red - I agree. If Sona allows others to exploit her. Then she deserves to be treated as doormat.Bijoy should not boil is blood for a daughter.Who is ready to be doormat.

@Blue - Agree.Bijoy is intelligent then Asha.He said the truth. All will blame Sona.Dev can leave Sona hand again for his mom.

@Violet - If CV's did not show this. That is Dev seeing Ish true face. They will loose many viewers. No one is interested in watching a stagnant story. Were leads r spineless n doormat.

Yep, agreed. Ishwari is easily convinced because she wants to be convinced. She'd rather blame her Sona than her son. She won't confront them because she is worried that she will find out that it was her son's fault. So she'd rather place all blames on Sona. I knew this was going to happen. I could see this train approaching the wrecking site and exactly it happened. I also wrote about it in my earlier posts of this week.
