I thought I'd share this statement because just like a woman in love can't tolerate anyone disrespecting her man, a man in love can't tolerate anyone disrespecting his love.

Dev's action was not of the action of a man who really loves a woman but of a man who does not want to let go of a toy.

The toy for whom he can lie, cheat and deceive anyone including the toy herself. He never treated Sonakshi as a human being with her own hopes, dreams, desire etc.

@Red - Very well said by ur husband.I completely agree with him.For me my mom played imp role in understanding Women better.How Men should treat Women.What r husband duties.What ur husband said is most imp thing.A Women enters new environment holding her husband's hand.The man she trust,respect n love.Trusting he will stand by her through thick n thin.Will not allow any one to humiliate her.If Husband fails in it.For him is wife is just a convince n take her for granted.

I will quote some bible verses.Reg Husband N Wife relation .How imp it is.

'Husband N Wife r one flesh'.

'Thou shalt not take thy wife for granted, but will honor and respect her as thy equal'.

'Thy highest allegiance, except God, shall be to thy wife, not thy relatives or friends'.

'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'.

@violet - Well said.Dev does not want the toy Sona to go away from him.He only wants to own it.CV's have themselves made mockery of this dialogue- I Love U As A Man Loves A Women. Sona allowed Dev to exploit her.She also needed to be blamed.

Ok finally my thoughts on the whole episode.

Dev, what can I say about this guy, he openly admits that if he had told Ishu about this earlier, Ishu wont have accepted them and hence he would not be able to marry her. So he lies. Wow 😆. What an easy way out 😆. If this is not tricking someone into marrying her then what is ? It seems Dev has struggled a lot in his life so he doesn't wish to struggle for his love or anything else at all anymore 😆.

Phir Sonakshi ko bolo that you almost cannot become mother, then Sonakshi will start crying , phir usko samjhaao ke nahi nahi rote nahi , then when she will ask 'Will you leave me for this', phir main kya jawaab dunga , phir jaake Mummy ko bolo Sona ke baare mein, phir Mummy ko convince karo , phir pata nahi woh convinced hogi bhi ya nahi , aur pata nahi kab tak yeh sab drama chalega

Isse better I will lie and skip all the struggle. This triggers 2 thoughts in my mind about Dev - 1. How irresponsibly laid-back he is about his love-life or Sonakshi, 2. What he thinks of the institution called 'marriage'.

1. He has no intention to 'fight' for his love at all. At least not in this lifetime. Time and again he keeps repeating that if mommy hadn't agreed, he wont have married Sona, and surprisingly he has no shame in admitting this again and again 🤓. I dont get what kind of love this is at all.

2. Marriage, is this like a Fixed Deposit for Dev ? 😳. Jhoot bolke/sach chupaake jaise taise shaadi kar leta hoon, phir mera koi kya bigaadega. This is utter sadak chaap thought if I am given least demeaning thing to say. Marriage is not the ultimate unbreakable bond. When you nourish it with love, care, affection, trust and respect, it becomes one. The thought of Dev somehow marrying Sona and deal with the problems later is almost like abducting her and then thinking later on how to deal with it. 🤔

All in all, seeing Sonakshi's behaviour, reasons to get pregnant or not feeling an inch of self-respect upon Dev's 1000 times repeating the same thing that he married her only cuz Ishu approved - makes me think Sonakshi Bose is dead inside too. They don't have the maturity to get married in the first place.
