Thank you! I didn't make a post on Jhula analogy but I did comment on someone's thread about it. The Jhula is symbolic of Sona's presence in Dixit house. She doesn't fit in. At the time, I thought Dev will help her fit it into the room into the right spot but the CVs dumbed down Dev and unfortunately the Jhula got thrown out of the room...in a way showing that Dev also does not make an effort to accept Sona in her entirety.

But one day, when sona is not around, that Jhula will go back into Dev's room and it'll be his way of telling everyone how much the Jhula (Sona) matters to him. That will be the beginning of the end for Ishwari.

Like I said, I don't know whether or not the separation will happen. Sona will be in pain no doubt but Dev will be there for her.

Remember, shared pain brings people together and binds them stronger than ever.

Look at the contrast at Sona's n Dev's expressions. Sona's unstoppable smile n laughter..happiness of lifetime..Dev's unbearable pain. That soulful music played wen Dev sees everyone celebrating but he alone knows d truth..reminds me of breakup track scenes . ..when Dev, all drenched in rain, watches Sona with Rithwik n when Sona enters Ishwari Niwas first time after breakup or when Sona hears car horn n rushes to the road to meet Dev. 😭

It is those contrasting reactions that wrench at you coz Dev's intent in keeping the reports from her was to keep her smiling but now the fear her smile getting wiped out is closer than ever and that is frightening, saddening and disabling for Dev.

You are right...this track is very reminiscent of the pain during break up track because once again Dev and Sona will be victimized for no fault of their own and going forward they will face further heartbreak due to IShwari's insecurities and her unwillingness to share him with a woman (sona) who can't even bear him children.

Actually, I have a huge doubt.

We all know Ishwari began talking about grandkids to Dev because she thinks of it as a way of diverting Sona's attention from Dev and today, all of a sudden she was showering love on Sona as if being the grandmother is the biggest ambition of her life. Such a nautanki she is.

The CVs screwed up and the disconnect is clearly visible between what they were trying to portray for few weeks ago vs now.

I hope they will do a decent job of writing great material from here on and execute the next few tracks efficiently.

True there is a big disconnect ..Actually I think Ishu shud get insecured with Sona's pregnancy coz Sona wud b centre of attention of all family members n Dev wud be taking extra care of Sona n spend more time with her.

Ish is maybe overcompensating for her previous behaviour..she never accepted Sona but she is happy now bcoz of getting Dev's ansh. I m sure she wud go back to her old behavior n feel insecure once Sona starts getting more attention.

But truly both Ish n Gkb hav forgotten abt the real reason they wanted Sona to hav a child..I was atleast Gkb wud say smthing nasty tht now Dev wud separate further from family, Sona is doing it to ensure she gets Dev's money. But infact she was also so happy which is hard to digest. Even Vicki looked happy...he shud be annoyed wid Sona's happiness. Only Neha's expressions were as expected.

Brilliant Analogy

I'm just looking forward to seeing how Dev will support Sona
what steps he will be taking because this will surely be an eye opener for Dev to see his mother and other family members treat his wife badly so yeah I'm eagerly waiting for the tracks yes it will be painful but then again these actors are at their very best when the emotion of pain surfaces

Well first of all give me a hi5... While I heard this narration, i thought of this pretty much the same..
But am sure you summarized it for us grandly...

What I would like to add is...
Lets all notice the expressions of the entire family...

Who says it... Dada... as always he will know the Khargosh well...

Breakup time, we saw an amazing sibling scene.. [Dada -Sona : where Sona breaks down, and before Dev proposes also... how he promises Sona, her love won't go in vain...he sure plays a big role...

Baba's first expression "Lohar ki" - his clueless expression show he can never understand this nonsense...or tolerate it... and as always Asha ma will have to calm him...

Mamiji... finding excitement and at the same time, stands by watching a suspense filled tale..

Nikki worried...and anxiety fills in... def for her bestie...

Dev stands upset...and irritated...

Sona has a subtle smile.. she will hide all her feelings within her... and wont share anything...

Oh God, Mamaji will come again with his bhashan... "Ise kehte hai positive attitude" - he will always stand there like a dumb man in front of his useless and brainless sister... and keep motivating Sona... in her lows... but wont solve the problem...

Dev finally... will say enough is enough..."I do not like this"

Mamaji see Dev there... and says "Dev aa gaya"
Mamaji will knock Ishwari's head off... like the breakup time...

"His mom becomes all normal.. and for her son's happiness all will do as per his wants...
and all the family will be ..back to how it was...

So basically everyone reacts only as per Dev...

If he is silent.. they will keep humiliating Sona... and continue to make her feel cursed...

what puzzles me is Vileena / Riya / Neha - has no part to play? Time will say!!!

Love,
Sajini
