Kind of surprised with Supriya ji's outburst though because she was part of a comedy saas-bahu show and the equation of saas-bahu and the equation she shares with Sonakshi is quite different.

Very nice post. Even I think it was quite visible from the first episode that it will gonna be a MIL DIL and son relationship drama. I think people don't want to see the hard reality of common indian household (though very pronounced in the show). They are showing how to handle situation being polite and calm and without insulting anyone by anger outburst. And I am learning very good things from the show. Because I too have to go to 'sasural'.

In this serial we don't have tyrrant saasu maa and gopi bahu type characters who indulgebin completing paramaparas and rasams. The characters have their own strengths and weaknesses which we can easily corelate. Thirdly in saas bahu dramas male actirs only wear suits and hardly have 1 or 2 dailogues. But here dev is central character and even his journey is also shown from mamma's boy to good husband. The show is entirely different from regular saas bahu dramas like having 2-3 marriages, accidents , plastic surgery and all
But why actors are feeling it I am.not getting it. Ya sometimes it really hurts the chord of viewers by having butchering characters like dev ishu and sometimes sona too but this is again different from regular shows.

Excellent post

Every word every sentence make sense I just don't have anything to add
maybe my brain is just to lazy right now
but its true this show is not any saas bahu show yeah sure when a DIL enters her husband's home there will be hurdles to accomplish and we slowly heading to the track where Dev and Sonakshi will be helping Ishwari with her deep insecurities and fear

Very well said... It is not saas bahu saga which r running on other channel.
Krpkab is unique and representing show in very different way through which some people r relating their life with show which is good to see and very rare to find in other typical saas bahu show.

A very well needed post at the moment and its amazing. Honestly when people talk about this so called "saas-bahu" Thing for our show, i really get confused. I fail to understand that what exactly what they mean by it. We have a saas and a bahu in our show, so does that only make it a saas bahu drama. Well from starting till now our show has handled the concepts very differently and maturely and have not taken the cliche route of telly soaps. So yes it is a saas bahu show but with a difference. Story is same but execution is different.

If going by saas bahu way, Dev would have married saloni for his sister's happiness and then divorced her and then again married natasha for business reasons and at last realised his love for sonakshi. And by then sonakshi too would have been moved to 2-3 marriages of her own. And ishwari would have planned to kill natasha, whose bhoot would have came back from dead to take revenge. Urrghhh. We don't see any such thing in our show and there is no unnecessary drama in it.

I have said it and will say it again, our show is LOT better than others. We are saved from the OTT stuff that is going on in other shows. WE are saved from supernatural, bhoot, naagin, nevla, forced marriage etc etc tracks and i am quite happy about it.

I agree. Dev first priority was his mother and responsibilities towards family and he never thought of himself for ever; he and Ishwari always had a guilt of snatching of neha's opportunities, previously only during natasha's track she proclaimed her partiality in giving all motherly love to Dev, so she is possessive about her son so it's obvious that she is striving internallyand will be never easy for her but she was protective toward sonakshi when vicky and GKB used to taunt her. The problem is that they are unable to leave the past behind and move on which is boon and a curse.

thank you for the post... i am so confused with everybody saying that this show is saas bahu or turning out to be one... where i can't see one single scene which out of place or not related to our story barring dadi bua drama... i hope everything gets sorted and positivity prevails
