I will start this post with some laughter since people needs positivity.

Man to Neighbour: Dear neighbour. I just thought I'd tell you that I have dug a huge hole in front of your front door, but please remember while you break your leg, I Really Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

Psycho killer to Victim while shining knife: Sweety, I am going to cut you into little pieces and then burn them in my backyard. But, I just want you to know that I Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

Dev to Sonakshi:

I love you like a man loves a woman,

BUT

I will make promises to make you think I care, but I won't keep any of them. Some of them I can't because of the situation and some of them because I just don't want to.

But I Swear On My False Promises I Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

I will silently watch while my family chips away piece by piece your confidence in you, our relationship and the trust that I will ever stand by your side.

But Please Believe I Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

I will make rash decisions on my own that impact both of us without discussing or bothering to talk to you about it, but lash out to you if you ask me any question or any explanation.

But Always Remember, I Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

I will use my past as an excuse to justify every one of my questionable acts that could be borderline unethical, but if you ask I will use my tagline "You won't understand" so that I won't have to give an explanation nor justification for my actions ever.

But I Swear on My Many Conditions Applied Love, I Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

I will romance you in the bedroom and denounce you in front of my family.

But Hey Babes (Wait, Who Are You Again?), I Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

I will lie and hide important things from you that is your right to know which is guaranteed to come out one day with an added compounding bonus of the feeling that you have been lied to since the beginning of our relationship.

But Place Your Trust On Me That I Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

I will use your family to make you think that I am a great husband who is making as much of an effort (*Snort*) to win them over as much you did which is way harder battle than mine. You couldn't do anything that could make my family happy and I just have to be nice to yours to make them spread out the welcome mat.

But when the time comes to truly reciprocate that love and respect your family has given me, I will show your mother what a deluded fool she was to think that I have loyalty to anyone except myself and my mother and pretty much guarantee that she gets hurt yet continue to lie about it in front of your face. This time added bonus of being lied to your face for no one's good except my mother's ego.

But Please Know from the Bottom of My Heart, I Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

I will hurt you every time even worse than last time until you start to question your intelligence for believing that this is how a man loves a woman.

But You Know What is Coming When I Say I Don't Want to Hurt You!!!

Sona is a gem.. Dev's attitude should have been like "No one should hurt you".. I wish we get to see that during infertility track..

We have been all the Ishwari FB stories about how hard it was for them to have just one blanket for the whole family and this guy acts like a princess who can't sleep with a pea under her cushy mattresses😆. He is so affected by fairy lights that he can't sleep !

After tripping once, even a blind person would know that there is a giant furniture and would be more careful next time. It looks like a sci-fi movie where the jhula seems to be attacking him 😆. Btw , I also did not like the jhula and the fairy lights because I am also a minimalist by nature but his tantrum about it was just too much ! But then he has the tantrum genes from the drama queen herself.😆

This sissy can't even tolerate the fairy lights, how is he going to deal with the toddlers toys everywhere if they ever succeed in their 7% chance ?

I won't hold my breath. If Dev just himself stop hurting her by his own selfish attitude and be even a silent support beside her when his family treats her badly, that would be sufficient. But he hurt her way more anyone else ever can because she loved him way more than anyone in his family ever can.

And why couldn't he switch off the lights at night? It was not necessary to be switched on in the daylight or when they sleep. But no, he had to go crying to his Mummy.
