Aazeen... Amazing post... You have beautifully voiced all that was bugging me...

The feeling of incompleteness, the lack of Sona's reaction, Dev's reaction...Bang On!!

Yes this is the slide, things are going to go spiraling down and Dev will not even realize when his life will be completely in reverse gear and when it dawns to him where he is in life... the downfall started this week.

lovely post as usual... i was very mad at dev but then i watched full last week episode again... i understood what cv's are trying to say...

what i feel we are over analysing things... cv's just wanted to portray that dev is reluctant to changes even though he is getting difficulty but he will do for sona... his reaction to see jhoola out of his room was very normal, anybody who doesn't like anything in the room... if it moves out will be happy...

second thing is dev's dependency on his mom...

on sona's part her adjustment in joint family is what cv's are trying to show...

one more thing cv's are not showing some out of the blue situations so that ishwari accept sona... they are showing slow transition and if you see where ishwari acknowledge sona as family member came out instantly and not because she wanted to manipulate her... ishwari might not even register what she said to sona... it looked like out of habit ishwari said that...

dev and sona will fight but only for calling asha aunty... i don't think wardrobe or jhoola will create a fight b/w them...

jhoola's main motive was to show that any change in dev's space bothers him...

Nice analysis Deepa ...

Like you said the experience of watching the episode without reading the analysis in IF is totally different .It leaves you frustrated when you read the some of the analysis here .I am no one to judge any members but in the name of venting their frustration they have turned the forum into unhealthy place filled with bashing and sarcastic post.The problem with me is ,I come here for reading WU and end up reading all the bashing post . i will never learn from my mistakes .Sometimes i feel for my own sanity, I want the TRPs to fall miserably and the serial to end so that i will no longer be tempted to come to IF and spoil my day .😳

I am disappointed with the CVs for the way they are executing the serial . Even on the day Dev did a U turn i had hopes with the serial but today i see that they just want to focus mainly on one character's flaws and its redemption .The show would never focus on Sona's insecurity , her redemption at all and how can we blame forum members for being biased when the makers themselves are not interested to show both are equally flawed .

I am sure somewhere or the other you would have read my view on wardrobe and swing issue as i have been repeating the same everywhere 😆 so i want to spare you from reading it again here.If i have to summarize ,every person has their own way of managing clothes .Some wants to do it on their own and others need help .There is nothing wrong if they take external help to manage clothes .Doing everything on your own is not the only approach or solution.

If Ishwari managing his wadrobe is the problem then she should speak up and either she should do it for him or delegate that to Kichu but expecting him to takeover everything from day is not the solution.

I do laundry , ironing for my husband and this was something i took up on my considering the fact that i like organized closet and he doesn't think folding clothes is needed instead picking from laundry basket will serve the purpose .There are certain things he does for me like filling gas/petrol for my car .I am not someone who will stand in the line to fill gas coz its' cheap .For me time is money but he has different opinion so he does it for me .In Initial days of marriage we tried to change each other and we both pushed each other a lot .It only resulted in frustration and arguments .Let me be honest we both have lied to each other as we were unable to live upto each others expectation .That s when i realized its high time i stop changing him instead i changed my approach .We have accepted each other with flaws.Sorry for my own story

So from my personal experience , I feel Sona is behaving like a new wife who wants to "train" her husband according to her likes and Dev is behaving like a typical husband .Dev ran to his mom for help similarly Sona went to her Dad .Its a typical husband and wife problem and i dont see Sonakshi being tortured as its made out to be

When he saw swing missing the dialogue said by Dev is blown out of proportion .Any normal person would feel happy if they get what they want without having to ask for it .Did Dev know that it was not Sona who shifted the swing and she was forced to compromise ?

My concern is Dev is lying and so is Sonakshi .I find Sonakshi lies bigger than Dev (minus Asha one though) .She hides everything from him yet i can bet the show will not focus on how Dev would feel when he realize his wife hid about business venture and Vicky issue from him .They would never show a track where Dev to be upset/anfgry with Sona and Sona realizing her mistake and Dev forgiving her.It will always be about Dev making mistakes ..Sona getting angry and disappointed and forgiving him .

There will be no growth in Dev's character and Sona will never be the one making mistakes .This is the reality of the show ..I should either accept the reality or stop watching instead of cribbing everytime , I hope i will be able to find a solution soon .

I guess the makers think if they don't have Dev this insensitive , his redemption won't have that necessary impact. They are also trying to balance out all characters by highlighting everyone's flaws which is little too much for regular audience to digest. Constant frustration and disappointment is not going to help us instead will lead to more bad memories even with the forum , so its better we think positive and move on😆

I will be out next week for thanksgiving family vacation, so please bear my absence 😳
