What an interesting week this has been in KRPKAB land, a total 180 deg change from last week which caused huge earthquakes and volcanoes between fans taking the bashing level of every character to new heights. Kudos CVs for increasing BP level of every fan by nicely butchering every character, why bash only Ishwari, let them bash Dev and Sona too. KRPKAB is all about balance between the leads. 😆

Jokes apart, I finished rewatching the entire week episodes without any prenotion and have to tell you guys, it was totally a different experience. I suggest to anyone who wish to just watch the series for leisure and find some sense should try this because daily frustration in forum is definitely making us blind to see the real story. Ofcourse choice is yours 😳

Like last week, I will try to put down my understanding of each character keeping aside my "ifs and buts and rights and wrongs" to make a balanced post. Before going into the post I like to highlight two points

1) The premise of the story is a joint family which makes the privacy time for a couple very minimum which is a must to sort their issues, so no wonder we see conflicts and interruption which is quite difficult to understand for nuclear family audience (atleast 90%) like us.

2) As a viewer we know what every character is doing behind each other and hence the emotions but judging the characters to behave the same way we think is unrealistic because they react with what they know !

Sona:

What I inferred from the whole week episodes is that Sona hasn't lost her individuality at all while dealing with Bose family issues. But with Dixits, I felt she has taken it has a challenge to become a part of this family at any cost and prove to herself and especially to Ishwari that she can gel into this complicated family as a DIL from a mere nutritionist. Sona took Dev's words to the face value and started fulfilling her childhood dream inside their room as a first step in making Dixit house as part of hers too! The reassurance from Dev that night gave Sona that extra confidence to boost in front of her inlaws, after all how can the poor girl expect her once " midnight calling boss just to share his real feelings openly" turned husband to lie ! Still she picked up his signals and confirmed with Ishwari because she doesn't want Dev to feel that she didn't believe him about his liking of Jhoola. After the repeated approval from that one person concerned (Dev) in that room, she went ahead and decorated to her heart content. Any new things will take some time to adjust but since Dev didn't complain, she took even the accident bumping into jhoola funny, after all couples life is bit about teasing and caring too😳

I felt Sona genuinely wanted Dev to start doing his chores from their room and reduce his dependency on Maa and this started only after Dev dumping out entire wardrobe in search of his nightdress. Sona knows somehow this dependency has to stop and she being the stubborn nutritionist made it obvious to Dev how serious she is about this by sticking the post-its and constant push. But once she realizes Dev have indeed tried his best to clean up (of course she didn't know the truth like us😆) she jumped to lend a helping hand in searching a tie. So all she wanted was Dev to atleast give a try !

Now moving the jhoola was painful for Sona but Ishwari's reasons were valid about the discomfort to Dev and hence she didn't confront or fight , instead masked her emotions expecting some alone time with her husband. After trail of insults and taunts, a day finally arrives in this new bride's life where entire family shows her opinion matters which can make any strong willed person break down and so does Sona !! Those were genuine emotions in the form of tears of a strong girl who desperately turned meek for this acceptance, for Sona her efforts have started yielding success !!

For Sona , Dev and his love is her biggest strength and that will start shattering once she finds out his lies and her fairytale dreamland will crumble on her crushing her soul because Dev won't be that prince charming who feed parathas anymore leading the emergence of original Dr.Bose !!

Dev:

Dev is always known to have kept his Maa above everything even his life. When he can break up with Sona the girl whom he dearly loved, snatching the "Maa" title from Asha is not a big deal if it is bothering his own Mother. Dev gets blinded of the consequences of his actions when he sees his Mother in hurt and its not a surprise he promises mountains and clouds to see her smile. But he realizes soon how difficult it is to keep that promise and hence the guilt of lie after calling Asha as Aunty. Similarly he hides his displeasure about jhoola from Sona. Now getting hurt by a swing is not a big deal but for some people those lights can be major hindrance while sleeping especially after a long tiring day from work. But Dev didn't want to complain or talk to her because he didn't want to hurt her childhood dream and also he knows she did all this with his approval and he have to adjust😆. Now it doesn't matter irrespective of gender who approaches or who declines it, love making is a natural process with the consent of both parties and shouldn't be forced.

Though he got frustrated with the wardrobe issue, he definitely wanted to try doing it himself which was evident from the post-it scene. For a man like Dev who always needed a source of console (which was provided by Sona before marriage), sprints to his mother with his problem because he genuinely didn't have a clue about it and didn't want to make Sona angry either. He just asked Ishwari to keep the clothes there for folding later to avoid the constant pushing from Sona if they were kept in their room unkempt. But can we blame him for enjoying his luck when he got two madly in love with women in his life for understanding his needs without asking?! 😆

Dev doesn't want to hurt both ladies and if lying is the way to achieve that, he is more than happier to do that. All he wants is a smiling wife to wake up to and a smiling mother to get pampered up to. Little does he understand that same lying is going to shatter the best of both worlds and he will have no world to turn up to in the end😳.

Ishwari:

Her insecurity reached the creepy peak after hearing the "Maa" word and it affects her normal behavior with Dev which is obviously noticed by both Mamaji and Dev. After all these episodes I found two qualities of her common in all instances, 1) she can't hide from her brother 2) that insecurity won't be a problem as soon as she gets the assurance from Dev. Same happened with "Maa" issue, it was bothering her till Dev acknowledged that she is his only Maa and world, now it doesn't matter who else her Son call as Maa as long as he whole heartedly means only her !! I guess Ishwari's defense for Sona against GKB was genuine when she repeatedly called as "Bangalan" . Similarly her concern and tension on seeing Dev hurt was genuine after GKB highlighted the possibility and the removal of Jhoola. Once she was proved right that she knows her son better, all her insecurities about Sona passed away making her a decision maker in Dev's birthday party !

Just like Ishwari pampers Dev to become her dependent, Dev fuels her insecurity issues by not addressing the truths and facts !! Ishwari is very much happy and content that her "Toy" is kept in its place for now but she will very soon face the wrath of that Toy and its player when she realizes that Toy is indeed alive !!

* Neha is shown to see only the happy side of Sonakshi who always boost about her husband's love which will obviously trigger her jealousy and hence the insensitive outbursts. The day she realizes what Sona's going through , I guess Neha will the first one to take Sona's side !

* Ayan looked really cute and Ria, Nikki scenes are really warm and light which bring smiles !

* Brilliant use of demonetization issue with Bose family and it was a lovely moment to watch !

To sum it all, this week episodes are the heights of timidness, insensitiveness and manipulativeness of three main leads which might lead to some epic revelation in the weeks to come. I believe its impossible for CVs to be oblivious about the sudden character assasination and regression this week and must have some strong reason behind ! Basically I think makers take us to the new low of loosing trust in every character, only to shatter those illusions and soar high in days to come! Lets give them the benefit of doubt and wait !!

With that said, even though I saw numerous posts bashing and emitting frustrations and disappointments with the tagline of quitting show, I saw many members sharing their real life stories from independent single moms to frustrated housewives to successful newly weds to some fantastic working ladies which really showed how much this show has impacted each one of you deeply to share yours which I found rare in other forums I have been and made me wonder about KRPKAB uniqueness!

Hats of all you strong women survived and surviving 👏!!

Wish all my videsi members a very Happy Thanksgiving week in advance and my desi members a happy weekend😊 !!

Have a kitkat break from the show and return when the showdown starts 😉😆!

Cheers 🤗

Hello deepa 🤗
Its so good to see u here ...after last 4 epis needed u 😆
Awesum post as usual deepa ...
In dis week all three have deir share of lows
Just like dev broke up wid sona in a momwnt to set things right only to realise later d level of damage he has done later ...dis tym he said he wont call ashaaa but d gravity of situation landed on him wen asha called ..dat tym he realised d mess it is
Dev os a person who wants to keep everyone happy rather momentarily happy ...so he thinks quick fix soln that is lying is best and does it
But i too felt all dis is built up for next weeks where we may see some dhamakas wich ll turn d lives upside down ...
To aim higher we need to move back a little n i guess dis week was abt moving backward so dat story can b moved forward

Please keep making posts deepa ...love dem

Thank God you are back to keep us sane enough. Your posts are like Dev's parathas for Sona which strengthens her giving us hope when our judgement is clouded. After I read your post I understood I am still an emotional fool. Thanks Deeps. God bless and a very warm welcome back🤗

Thank you so much for this post... We really needed someone to give an unbiased analysis of this week's episodes...
I feel that our expectations and our attachment to this show has made us forget that at the end of the day, it is a show...

Every single day will not be positive... We will continue to watch the story goes in the circle, until they are ready to jump to the next phase...

That's why I feel that we are witnessing the emergence of so many subplots like Vicky-Elena, or Ria's marriage.. And, so on...

We have to remember that this show is aired daily (on weekdays), that means 20 episodes which is a lot.. If they started telling the story, the way we wish to, the show would have been completed in two months or so..

I feel that while we might love DevAkshi to the core but we have to remember that this is a tv show... And, have to react accordingly...

Deeps.. 🤗 As always I may not be in alignment with your take on each of the characters and their justification or perception.. If only I can be in the same old state to empathize with Ishu.. I don't hate her even now but can't justify her anymore.. Even if I have my own reasons to have formed a soft corner for her originally, I can't pacify her in the name of empathy.. And I can't see her in the same light again.. Hope to see Sona happy.. That's all. If it means that she chooses to be happy with whatever Dev-Ish have to offer her within their limits. So be it. Let them close the show with that message so I can easily forget about the show soon.. 😆

Welcome back to the bubble world Lavanya. But we will miss your spicy posts. It was too much fun to get to know your alter ego.🤣
