I think I know why Ishwari is so insecure about Dev's love for her. I think it is because of Dev's ever changing personality. He says something and makes big promises but breaks those promises easily.
That's why althought he says that he loves the most and that she is the best mom in the whole world and other blah blah , she gets insecure when she sees him with other women getting some attention from him.

The whole fandom has become so insecure in the last 1 week 😆

When the whole fandom thought that he had progressed and started to make some positive changes after his Bose house visit and big promises on Delhi street, he broke those promises the very next day. Now the whole fandom is feeling so insecure ( just like Ishwari ) for Sona .
When he makes those promises, they look so genuine but then breaks them right away. He often lies to get out of a sticky situation and is very unpredictable so one never knows if he genuine or lying. Pretty soon, Sona will start to feel very insecure as well.

Ha,ha,ha.. fandom is insecure! Awesome!
Dev truly can mesmerize girls. Handsome, charming, a catchy smile, innocent looks, can lift a girl off her feet. Deep down his soul is not at peace... that is why he has temper, breaks things, including promises! Itvis often said if peace reigns in a soul, it shows in your behaviour. You don't lose your temper, or break things, you don't need to lie, you can always be calm even in a storm. Sona is at peace but Dev is not. Always under pressure to perform, to conform.

Dev needs training but the question is he willing?

Ishwari, like you rightly said, knows how impulsive Dev has been from the beginning... his lack of peace comes from his childhood...and continues. Could be the cause of Ishwari's insecurities or at least one of the reasons!

I think you have a point...
Ishwari knows her son is not a man of his words, so only she tries to remind him about her sacrifices to him at every instance possible, all most every day, so that he wont forget that.

So, if Sona want to live her love life, she need to change herself like Ishwari.. lol 😆

Yeah we fandom are insecure 😆

When Dev makes a promise he is sincere he means it he lives in that moment only no matter with who he is whether its Ishwari , Sonakshi , Mamaji or Neha his promises are true his problem is he tends to forget them once he is with another person he is the only person in the Dixit house that has so many pressures and stress he now after marriage has not really spoken about his troubles to Sona now he fears there is less communication from his side .
He is someone that can change his moods in split seconds he is impulsive and his decisions are always taken in haste now why so
Its simply because he needs and has to prove to his mother he is the best
Ishwari is insecure when she sees Dev happy it means he can easily be swept off his feet by a different person which does scares Ishwari so its best if she is in control that way her son is just with her doing what she expects him to do
