Bravo dear 👏

I saw your take in my post yesterday also and it was top notch...I was thinking of posting that in main post this weekend so everyone can read and calm down because you made sense !!

But am so glad to see this post when I accidentally peeped into the forum for reaction and can't leave without responding😆

Leaving aside my extreme disappointment on Dev, I can see your POV totally coming alive. For now all characters are living in their own bubble and it needs to break and for that everyone needs to hit rock bottom to burst those bubbles.

My only disappointment is that they hadn't butchered every character so low to make this realization because now a happier family of Devakshi and Dixits is not without baggages😳

Am I the only one thinking Sona's reason for upset in that OLV is not Dev calling Aunty but because of witnessing "Vicky-Elena" closeness?!

With due respect to you, I would like to post your views on my thread too as I want others who missed out to read it.

"I think this scene is a prelude to the Sona-Sourabh venture. I mean even for opening online venture you need funding and Sonakshi will probably look for outside funding. Given the kind of power Dev has, he will get to know this. Any bank that Sonakshi will approach for funding will promptly let Dev know about it. 😊. Hearing this Dev will be shocked/confused and ask Sonakshi about it. She will at that time say that since she and her family is considered as an outsider even by Dev, she did not think she needed to tell him. Dev cannot claim that he is part of Bose family as he has given this promise.

Also till date Sonakshi has been made to feel like an outsider, but not Dev. Dev has never felt as an outsider with any family, be it Ranveer's or Sonakshi's. But by saying the words he said today, he made himself an outsider to Sonakshi's family. When the Sona-Sourabh venture and Sonakshi giving money to her family details come out, he will feel what SOnakshi is always maade to feel -- as an outsider.

Dev is one of those people who always learn by experience. When Sonakshi says she feels an outsider, he does not really understand what it means. Hence he never speaks up about her in front of his family. But when he will be made to feel that, he will realize what actually being an outsider means...

It will be interesting to see what Dev learns from this and his next steps... 😊"

I would like to extend my thanks to Sam and Gemini for their yesterday's hopeful insights as well 👏

Thank you Ladies , posts like these makes the KRPKAB forum unique because its lovely to see people finding lights even in extreme darkness 🤗

See you all at weekend❤️

Thank you for your kind words. I really like your analysis and positivity. 😃

Thank you 😊. For as long as he can remember the only relationship he has had is with his mother. All his other relationships is through her and as per her. This is the first time he is in a relationship which is not as per Ishwari. It will take time for him to learn, but learn he will...😊

Great post. Thanks for writing. I think CVs would be taking this path for the story forward but in all this my heart really goes out Sona. There are so many things to learn for this story with everyone relating to similar things in real life around them.
I also relate to this but I think when one stoops that low in their character, no matter what path of redemption ones takes these wounds dont heal. It comes back to bite us again like Sona still would have insecurity in her head about Dev leaving her for his mum due to the breakup in the past.

I am looking forward to see how Sona deals with this.
As always kudos to the CVs because they are showing immensely sensitive issues in many households especially joint families.

Thanks again for such a sensible post.

I trust the CVS that they are gonna show something awesome hopefully.
I think sona being angry on dev is really important right now.
I don't know why but I feel mama also is a huge catalyst in dev remaining immature and ishu remaining insecure.
What is he exactly waiting for to address ishu's problems with devakshi. Whatever he tells dev makes the situation actually more worse

Thank you.. Mamaji thinks his nephew is smart. That if he gives hints, he will understand. But Dev is guy who takes the literal meaning of things and ends up doing things which he lives to regretts. Problem is when mamaji tells those things, he expects dev to make rational and logical decisions. But Dev ends up making irrational decisions about which mamaji will get to know only when the consequences come into picture.

When he told Dev that Ishwari does not like Sonakshi, he thought Dev would know he will have to work hard to make the relationship work. But instead Dev broke up with Sonakshi. Mamaji came to know about this only after the deed was done.

It is the same thing now. Mamaji did not hear the conversation between Dev and Ishwari. He does not know the promise given by Dev to her. He will come to know all of this only when things go wrong...😊

Huge fan of Elizabeth-Darcy here. And you are right, that people tend to fall into same cycles.
But what was the point of Dev-Sona breakup and Dev Ki Dewangi? Everyone takes some learning away from bad experiences. Are we to assume that Dev and Ishwari took none away from Devakshi's first break up and the following days. Are we to assume that Dev emerged unchanged from those days, to the extent that Sona's significance in his life remains unchanged from before marriage to now?

Thank you for your kind words. Please read my response to Krpkab_meg. The breakup did change a lot of things between the leads. There is always subtle difference between the words in English. One of them is the difference between Price and Value.

Both these words may kind of mean the same on face value, but if one looks closely there is a huge difference in their meaning. This is the same thing with Dev, Ishwari and Sonaksi. All three of them have learnt the price of relationships, but they are yet to learn the value of relationships.

@shaavi great take I like what you especially wrote about Pride and Prejudice
@deepsel thanks for the mention

I know it is very hard to find light in the darkness and this serial is testing all of our patience .

I for one was very emotionally vested in this story at the beginining but now I am just a viewing it as a story that the makers are trying to say this makes it easier for me to digest what they are showing. I do lament when they show Dev gutless even now 😉 but in a more detached way.

I agree that there has not been growth in Dev's character, Sona's character seemed to have sobered a bit and Easwari character has been magnified. Just like shaavi mentioned I think they are re creating the story so to speak but with the dynamics changed now it is not Bf/Gf but husband and wife against a mother/Mil and since the dynamics have changed the outcome will change for the positive and I for one believe that Sona will walk out leaving Dev devastated and he will be forced to Grow up and Easwari will not be able to do anything in the mess she created like earlier.

Thank you all for writing posts which are filled with optimism and hope... These are truly dark times for all of the people belonging in this fabulous community...
Loved the comparison with Elizabeth and Darcy... They have remained my most favorite literary couple and in my personal opinion, Pride & Prejudice, is probably the best romantic story ever written...

Hopefully, we will get to see a HEA for our DevAkshi, but currently, we need to buckle up for an another emotional rollercoaster ride...

Like you, I have stopped investing my heart in this show.. Because, only then, I can witness the upcoming tracks...

Beautifully said about price and value. Because the most valuable things in our life are priceless.

What I am saddest about with these developments is that I am unable to see Devakshi together and that to me heart breaking. This from a person who rooted for Dev through out the Breakup and Dev ki Deewangi phase.
