Dev cannot claim that he is part of Bose family as he has given this promise.

Also till date Sonakshi has been made to feel like an outsider, but not Dev. Dev has never felt as an outsider with any family, be it Ranveer's or Sonakshi's. But by saying the words he said today, he made himself an outsider to Sonakshi's family. When the Sona-Sourabh venture and Sonakshi giving money to her family details come out, he will feel what SOnakshi is always maade to feel -- as an outsider.

Dev is one of those people who always learn by experience. When Sonakshi says she feels an outsider, he does not really understand what it means. Hence he never speaks up about her in front of his family. But when he will be made to feel that, he will realize what actually being an outsider means...

It will be interesting to see what Dev learns from this and his next steps... 😊

This is one of the best perspective I have read so far👏 Thank you so much for putting it across in my post and you make absolute sense !!

Yes Dev learns the hard way and if it can be done only by making him an outsider, I will say bring it on CVs because after this dialog if they really want to redeem Dev, I need to see that from him heart whole heartedly and not some gimmicks and whitewashing over it. But for all this Sona needs to know what Dev promised today to Ishwari and I really couldn't fathom what can that poor girl think about the man she loved and loving so deeply.

I know CVs are touching every small hurdles we face in real life and bringing it out but sometimes our heart takeover our mind to see logics and today is one such day even for me😆

I want to hold his collar the way Sona did in the hospital...correction, I want Sona to do the same before calling him out for what he is and walking out -...a weak and selfish man who looks out only for himself either by pleasing his mother or temporarily calms down Sona with fake promises. His words mean nothing! nada! ENOUGH!

If this is what love is supposed to be, then I'm sorry to say the CVs have got it wrong. If they say this is what reality looks like...sorry again. No girl will/should stick by someone like Dev and Sona deserves better.

I knew it. I knew that the jhoola is Sona. Dev and Ash can swing in it. Sona ...go home!

Whatever Dev does...even if he calls Asha ma in the future, I'll not forgive Dev for what he did today. can he ever unspeak what he spoke today?

Today, I realized that Sona fell in love with the wrong man😕 This man is going has been/ continues to/ and will let her down until she leaves him And is that what a woman wants/ deserves after making all kinds of adjustments to fit into his family for their love? A man who realizes her worth only when she is not with him. To me, that kind of man makes the worst kind of husband.

Doesnt Sona deserve better than this weak man? She did but alas, she got Dev.

P.S - with one espidoe, the cvs butchered Dev's charectariozation. It is not wrong to love your mother (with a bad past or otherwise) but this ...this...is not love. This is obsession. And this is heartlessness towards Sona dn he claims he loves Sona

PPS - Sorry Deeps for ranting and not adding to the episode discussion coz you and the rest on this thread have already said what needs to be spoken.

I can't believe a 10 sec scene can make us all go to this extreme Sandya. I really hope theres more to the scene which will cool my hurting heart . Thats why I always say "Think before you speak because words fallen in haste cannot be picked up ever again" it will always leave a deep scar especially when it comes from the most loved and trusted person.

No Sona loved this same man who loved his Mom intensely and she also know that she is a level lower than Ishwari after the break up but I had that faith on Dev that he will never make her feel the same way ever again but that same faith took a beating in that last 10 second which infuriated me.

Lets just hope we get to see some genuine redemption to see that man whom we all adored again and I still have hope in the story as it has so much potential.

Its really ok to rant Sandya, makes us humans too and not some emotionless robots😳 Ofcourse I might eat an humble pie tomorrow if the scene turns out otherwise but am ok with it because that scene scarred me bad.

Sona-Saurab track was always meant to make feel Dev feel like an outsider and I for one cannot wait for it. But does it really excuse what Dev just did? I know you didn't think so too. The problem is, nobody in real world pushes the envelope beyond a point coz it tears. Dev just did that by explicitly stating that he will not call Asha "ma". For a supposedly smart man, he forgot that Sona calls his mother ma, that ranveer called his mother "ma", that Neha called her mother-in-law "ma".

This house and his ma are supposedly Sona's but Sona's life is not his. How selfish Mr. Deceitful Dixit! (I say deceitful coz he cheated Sona by making false promises)

This forum is on fire just like all our emotions are today! I sort of liked the episode today until the last 10 seconds.. now we know how much impact a short scene can have..
What surprises me though is the extreme reaction.. like some of the others said on the forum, south indian boys usually do not call their inlaws as mom or dad (in whatever form).. if they do, then there are some radha rani type characters who usually disturb the sanity of a happily married couples life.. and I have seen this across family and friends.. maybe things are changing now.. but its not the norm.. that does not mean there is no respect for the inlaws...its just a guy's way of managing the insecurity and buying peace in a household..

I know what Dev did was bad... start calling someone ma and then stop it.. I am so curious to see what he is going to call Asha ma now.. just for our sadistic pleasure, I wish he calls her something better than Maa.. something that signifies friendship because lets all face it.. now I do not want him to use the same word to address Asha (who is such a positive fun influence on his life) the same word to address Ishwari (who signifies everything toxic and controlling in his life). Let him call her something better, have a better relationship with her and one day just move in as ghar jamai..then Ishwari will learn that its not how someone is addressed that matters, its the space, love, trust and understanding in a relationship that is important.. none of which she gives Dev anyway...Lets wait and see what the CVs have in store today...

and would love to hear from the ladies in whose families boys generally do not call their inlaws ma/papa..

Wow.. enough of ranting.. now we also have an answer to why Shaheer decided to make the Indo trip.. he must have been genuinely scared of what will happen once this scene airs.. if any of our IF ladies manage to catch him on the road 😆.. The irony of the situation is that Supriyaji is not his/Erica's real mother and both of them call her Ma 😉

But this guy goes to extreme and give another promise , seriously he has to stop giving promises to his loved ones !!! And about Sona , she could have easily questioned Ishwari after that emotional talk about her struggle and work , as the financial and work situations are not the same . Also being Sona , without hurting Ishwari she could have asked whether she wanted her to be just like Ishwari who could not give time for her family and still regret it !!! Anyway I'm happy with the precap , Sona may need to take some drastic steps for Dev to come out of his trance, some people choose to learn the hard way !!! I'm glad you tuk the stand for your family dear , respect 👏 !!! I also have something personal with this "maa" thing but nothing like yours, its about me learning some lessons !!! Our first fight after marriage was also related with this , after marriage . like Dev-Sona we had decided to call each other parent's as mom dad prefixing our place to avoid confusion when we talk . And we were having an argument about something ,n being a little possessive and proud daughter ,I was explaining how differently the issue would be handled in my house and was being a little critical about the way the issue was handled in his house , and in between I used "your mom n dad" . Even though we came upon a solution and ended the argument , my use of "your" hurt him badly and me being dumb as Dev tuk some time to figure it out but he admitted it later . I was really embarrassed and apologized and never did the mistake again till now . My point is even if we say something in the spur of a moment , it would hurt our partners badly when it comes to family especially if they are considering yours and his as their own . And here if Sona learns about this incident , I cannot imagine the hurt it would cause her . I still remember how proud Dev was, listening to Sona's "I dont think now we have to differentiate between yours and my mom" during their courtship period .

Exactly Sunny, that Sona- Ishwari conversation held so much potential to discuss especially when Ishwari said " I never left any of my kids to suffer and showed the path to work and be independent " I was like screaming "Ishwari..look at the mirror, you can see Neha who is still dependent , you can see Dev how emotionally wrapped around your sentiments, look at Ria and nikki how emotionless around you" .."You are just contradicting yourself Ishwari" , the more Sona questions, we get to see more of Ishwari's layers scrapping down. All went into drain with Dev's yet another promise in haste

Even today my husband knows that I place my father above him and he has little complex about it too but we both have learned to draw a boundary regarding this matter to take our life forward because he understood my level of commitment to my parents when I married him even without seeing his face😆 I started this marriage for my parents sake and continue to suffer the initial turbulence also for them but when a time came pointing fingers on that same parents, all hell broke loose and thats the day they saw the real me and now even after all these years they don't dare to wake up that sleeping tigress ever again. So for now they are enjoying that Adarsh bahu, lovely wife and sweet momma with faithful daughter always at heart😉

Words spoken in haste are the strongest weapons which will leave deep scars which cannot be healed and am worried for Sona to have that scar once she comes to know about this. Now you would have understood my uproar in today's post😳

You know Deeps, my hubby is close to my parents. He values my dad's opinion a lot. There have been instances where he sought my dad's opinion coz his own dad is a traditionalist. My Mil is a typical MIL yet it never stopped him from caring, respecting, or loving my parents. He calls my mum and dad (athamma etc and addresses my grandmother ..amma). Coming from such a family, I am totally shocked and revulsed at the same time. Less so at Ishwari coz that is what I expect of her and more so at Dev. Coz he proved to be "less of a man" to me.

@ Bold -Sona loved him and he let her down earlier but that was expected coz of the situation and where his relationship with Sona was at that point. But after everything they went through following breakup, does he value Sona the same as he did back then? How can that be?

Don't people learn from experiences, especially the terrible ones? Are the CVs saying that there has been no character progression for Dev despite the breakup, Dev ki dewing and his gratitude when Sona came back into his life? How is that even possible?

The point I am trying to make is - I know the CVs will try to redeem Dev but the fact will remain that he forgot Sona even at this stage (after just bringing her back from her house with a promise that they are one) is symbolic of a very weak character/man. I have seen marriages fail in such cases and now a show that is supposedly realistic is going to make Dev-Sona work when in reality they would fail? Wah-bhai-wah cvs, you are going to set a new world order.

I am officially pissed 😆 Now you know, Deeps!😆

P.S - I will happily eat the humble pie too, if I'm proven wrong but somehow the promo where the jhoola aka Sona is being insulted, makes me think otherwise.

I cannot find any rationale on him assuring ISHU that he will NOT call Asha as his MA

What the bloody hell, will Ranveer and this new son in law will call her.? " Hey u"?

This is not about any insecurities anymore...a real sickness - a mental illness where Ish needs severe electric treatment and to be put in a straight jacket with no escape and ...maybe hate to say this..but Dev too needs some shock wave therapy.

Actually I want him to fall flat on his face tripping over the swing and break his teeth! I am sooo angry!

This Mamaji also needs a good tight slap. I recall him saying something to Dev during the break upthat Ish does not like him with Sona and now with again. Maybe his intentions were good but he needs to spell it our clearly word by word to Dev, as Dev doesnt act but reacts first!

Mamaji vocabulary needs to improve for his wife rather than " Chup Kar Radha Rani"...he needs to use his palms to shut her up!

I dont know what to say...deeply disappointed with the CVs for doing this!

Oh by the way, I liked your GIF!😆

One scene have bombed entire forum Silambu😆 For some reason am all smiles reading your response as always..thank you my dear 🤗

Even I was stunned because it was Dev who broke our trust, who showed so much progress last week and am hoping the scene may turn out completely different in today's episode as this was too much even for me to digest😆

Ranveer have lost all rights to call Ishu anything, so lets see what Ayan calls her now..I really want to see Ishwari asking him to call her Maa to have apnapan and Dev's face doing multiple summersaults😆 Its high time CVs stopped the downhill and starts with realization process though slowly but steadily.
