I am going to put on my prediction Hat today and hope it comes true

Dev is blind in devotion when it comes to his mother and his mother wants him to stay that way so anytime he strays she throws tantrums and he feels guilty and gets back to worship mode.

Dev has always been shown as extreme his devotion here is extreme, his handling of Neha and Ranveer was extreme and His craziness for Sona when they split even though it was his fault was extreme.

So I am predicting that he will move to an Extreme where he will move away from Easwari where he will NOT even acknowledge her as his mother..my gut is telling me this because of all this emphasis on this ..and they have really shoved the hero under the bus here AND then Sona role in mending the relationship will come into play.

The Pre Nup will come into play..and Riya marrying a rich guy maybe they will want a Pre Nup too?

I hope this prediction whether it comes true or not provides a balm to people here along with my Hug🤗

🤗Aww, this will be the most awaited thing if that ever happens. I seriously wish your prediction comes true. . .sounds too good to be true.
Ishwari needs to be punished but they are elevating her higger and higher. Even the next promo supports it.

She is fighting this change tooth and nail because she is so scared of it, and she doesn't care who she hurts in the process because she genuinely believes that she is protecting Dev from being subsumed into Sona's family, and therefore protecting the income of the rest of the family.

As has always been the case when it comes to Sona, the change is the right way forward, and Ishwari is fighting on the losing side. But because she is refusing to even consider where she is wrong, she is going to learn the hard way once again by dragging Dev and Sona through hell and back. Dev can't bear his mother's anger and like you said, he acted impulsively to make sure he removed its root cause.

It is definitely an echo of the break up, but if the break up taught us anything, it's that the manipulation that works so well in making Dev do whatever she wants in the short term, backfires wildly on Ishwari herself in the long run. Had she been more accepting of Dev-Sona before the breakup, she would have had so much more power because Dev would not even have had an inkling about her dislike, but she sabotaged that for herself when she took those sleeping pills, and she's doing it again.

Ishwari thought Sona would be Dev's toy, but she didn't bargain for the fact that Dev didn't just need Sona physically there, he needs her to be happy, and for her to be happy Sona requires certain things from Dev. If Ishwari prevents Dev from making Sona and her family happy when he is more than willing to do so, then she is holding him back from his own happiness. That ignites the much needed fire of frustration within Dev, something that only happens with Ishwari stoops this low.

Don't despair, people. This is going to backfire in a MAJOR way. Ishwari is playing with fire, and she won't realise how dangerous it is until the entire house is burning. She's overplaying the guilt hand, and it will begin to lost its effect as a result. Just wait and watch. 😉

Hope what you said above turns in to true soon Sam at least in the last episode😆
I have zero hopes on cv's on addressing Ishwari's obsession ooops i mean insecurity in our cv's terms or should i say it as world ki best mom ki mamta. This sounds really good.😃

As i mentioned in my reply in this post, To resolve any problem first we need to address that as a problem which is clearly missing in Ishwari's case.

Why cv's have to butcher Dev character like this...I was so much adoring devakshi. but after today's episode will I ever be able to love devakshi. He has no value for his wife and her family. when he cannot respect, then what is the love??
From now onwards I don't want Dev calling asha as ma. when he don't have that feeling, why lip service.

I am angry on makers for showing such a low from Dev. .

Your words made me feel a lot better! Thanks a lot🤗
Ishwari's psychology is understandable but what is disappointing is how Dev hasn't moved an inch from where he was since the breakup. Ishwari can make him do literally anything in the short-term but it is v v disturbing that even after the huge setback they had in the relationship, Dev still doesn't even consider Sonakshi's emotions. It is all about his mother. If he has to choose, he will still leave Sonakshi with his eyes closed if it comes to Ishwari's life.
It will backfire majorly but even then, it will be again Dev suffering and Ishwari again asking him to take his happiness back. Wont it happen this way?

Commendable ..I must say seeing some hopeful replies today is actually surprising..but good to see interesting replies :)

@bold..oh yes it shud ignite that fire which is very very much needed..not just for him but for viewers too LOL..but on serious note..i must say thats true..he wants to do that..but then what is stopping him is Ishwari..no doubt..but his impulsiveness is scary at times and how he acts makes situation bad that what happened today ..he might be cursing himself inside but he did utter thoes words..just to please Ishwari..but kahi hui baat kabhi wapis nahi le sktey..their is saying in hindi.. "kamaan se nikal hua teer and mooh se nikley shabd kabhi wapis nahi aa saktey"

And yep how that fire or frustration will turn in to a huge massive volcano is what has to be seen..though process is slow ATM..but what can we do other then waiting

@blue thank you for such calming words :)

Posting my comment from one of the posts...I am too disappointed like you😕
I couldn't think anything for 10 mins after even the episode ended 😕 Ishwari was upset but does it mean she will not inform Sona about guests coming home and when Sona asked about same Ishwari gave a big lecture of work and worship. She just didn't want any kind of interference from Sona as somewhere in heart she knows that Sona is too good and she can handle everything so well and to make her feel like an outsider, she did it intentionally. Why can't this lady come out of her past,I understand she did a lot of sacrifices for her kids but now they have everything so why at every situation she has to talk about past incidents, pathetic.
And our Dev babu,I am so disappointed with him, just few days back he was saying to Sona" mai tumhara saaya banke rehana chahta hu" and now said again to his mother "koi apne saaye se bhi bhaag sakta hai.. When it comes to his mother,he forgets everything,he forgot about Bose family's love, care, affection and how easily he said that he will not say Maa to Sona's mother, last scene was a big disappointment..😭😭 I just didn't get this today, how CV's are going to justify this

Agree with your post truly disappointed what is happening in this serial .
Why they are showing so much negativity . from starting till end nothing positive . First Saas didnt tell anything to bahu than if she try to help than again Saas has prblm . .if she try to make feel comfortable for her SIL than again prblm and dev's words in end make whole thing more bitter.😒
