Skip the episode and keep an eye on my post. I will let you know when there's a worthy episode to watch. In the meanwhile, check out Ishqbaaz.

I will skip tonight's episode and coming all episodes till Sona gives it back to GKB or Dev realizes Ishwari's insecurities ..

Off from this drama. Even the reading updates make me feel suffocated.. I definitely dont want more..

I know it doesn't matter to the makers of the show, but they have just lost one audience due to dragging of the show with no progress in the characterization..

Hi Aishu, sorry to hear about your mother's struggles. But the problem in the show is that to help Dev realize Ishwari's mental issues, Sona has to see it first. But Sona herself is ignoring the reality. How will she show Dev the reality without acknowledging the reality herself. Sona is living in her fairy tale bubble and keeps pretending that everything is fine until the water gets over her head and she can't ignore it anymore. Then Dev romances her and she forgets everything and the same cycle repeats again. She will never get out of her problems if she does not see it first.

Hi everyone. I am Aishu, I am silent reader of most of your posts Tia. I really like the show, but I honestly don't get most of the ideas they are showing (but I have zero experience in love and marriage I am a 12th grader in a med highschool) But I have my mother's original struggle, my mom also was just like Sona is now and my dad like Dev, for them it took many instances to come back to their true character. I think time will tell everything, but I am guessing Dev is realizing something slowly. But I do believe Sona will be the one helping Dev realize that his mother is not all that she seems. I honestly think she has some sort of mental illness (which is needed to showcase that it's normal for people to have it). But I hope it doesn't end up being clichd if they showcase it like that.

I wish Sona could show tit for tat with Dixits. But so far it seems that she also left her courage at Bose house with her personality.

Sona should keep up her self respect and not interfere in anything whatsoever in that hiuse! Just live like you are in a hotel! And if someone dares question her, which GKB sure would, ahe can retort that she never feels as though she belongs here as they keep her out of everything! This way both parties wont get hurt! That should tell them something!

The only way she will be able to make Ishwari happy if she becomes invisible. See how happy Ishwari was when Sona went to her home until Dev also left after her.

tomorrow Sonakshi should simply walk into her room saying that she needs to freshen up, take enough time in the job that her absence becomes glaring for the guests and they ask Ishwari as to why you're dil in spite of being at home is not sitting here.
Then Ishwari will be forced to eat crow and request Sonakshi to come down. She can come down but keep mum and not participate much in the conversation. Entire Dixit family will be left with egg on their faces, the prospective groom and his family will get a deep rooted suspicion that something is very wrong here.

And Sonakshi shall have excellent excuses like u didn't inform me on time so I needed time to change, u always tell me not to interfere in your family matters so I stayed quite, I felt that my presence was needed as I had not been informed etc. And no one including Dev would be able to open their mouth. In fact Ishwari would learn an excellent lesson for her balance life

But knowing Sonakshi- I have no hopes. She really begs to get insulted nowadays.

There's two reason why Sonakshi won't do it. 1. She loves Riya and won't want to hurt her anyway. and 2. She is still trying to get into everyone's good books which is bothering me to know end. Where's your honour and pride girl? You called Dev a puppy, you are behaving like a whipped dog with wagging tail. The more you are kicked, the more you are coming back asking for more.

If I were her, I'd behave like a guest and enjoy the wedding and do absolutely NOTHING. If she behaves like a polite guest, Ishwari will have hard time explaining why her daughter-in-law is behaving that way. And if anyone asks, she has handy answer, "They don't want me to behave like family. So I am behaving like guests."

I will again quote my mother here who always insists that what cvs are showing is right. Please note that whatever is written after this are her comments not mine.
Some of her comments when I was abusing the show yesterday
1. Sona is not being idiotic. Woh apne pair jama rahi hai

2. Her husband will slowly start believing everything she says because he knows she never hurts or insults anyone even when she is being insulted.

3. Ishwari's mask will slowly fall in front of Dev as he has started feeling something amiss in her behaviour.

4. Sonakshi will give them all back very soon and very strongly just let her be sure of her position once. She will suddenly speak up strongly and they will not know what to do. And that time Dev will not say her anything because he would know how good his wife is by that time and has seen how his family behaves.

5. What they are showing happens in most families in India. It is sa totally natural cycle.

One more incident that she quoted in support was when Dev beat up the boys during their night out. After that Sona came and sat in the car. But the moment Dev said he has to call mummy her expression changed and she immediately walked out. This means that she understands everything, is hurt by it but knows her relationship is neither old nor strong enough for her to complain about these issues. That is why instead of pointing out the real problems she mentioned the room. She is simply bidding her time and acting mature something which Neha failed to do and therefore her relationship is in divorce court

Payal, I think ur mother is right.
People like me would have left a person like dev long back
if it was an arranged marriage.
Would not have married after loving him the way he broke up.

This is about sona who is struggling to make her marriage work.
She doesn't believe in divorce.

She has knowingly signed in for this.
She knows she is going to get zero support from Dev when it comes to his family.

As u said she is trying to get a footing in the house.
She is tolerating everything as much as she can.

Again, the time frame we are talking about is like 3 weeks to a month after marriage .
This is such a short period.
The fact that dev & sona were in love before marriage, that itself they have known each other for like hardly 3 months.
This is definitely a short period.
As u said time should tell us- what happens to these characters?

Slowly dev will realize it.
How soon - god only knows.
Iswari is not a good woman with insecurities.
She is downright evil. She will be punished for that.
Nobody can escape that.
She can do whatever drama she wants.
Sona is genuine at heart. Dev will realize it soon.
Sorry for my rant.

Hummm... Your mother might be right and may be Sona is strategizing. I'll be really happy if that happens. But it just she seems so incredibly stupid right now that if CVs don't show at least one scene where Sona contemplating her moves alone, it's just painful watch a woman to turn ultra moron after marriage.

I guess our elders had more patience than us.

By the way, the sentence pyaar jama rahee hain is also something my mother says. But she says in Bengali, "Bhalobasha jamao, Tia."... Lol...

Honestly I don't know whether Sona's patience will work or not. I struggled for several years in my marriage. Gave my salary account debit card to my husband, had to beg for pocket money or even buying new clothes. Used to polish his shoes- as per his mother men are not supposed to do such menial jobs and why waste money on a servant.

All in the hope that he will understand one day.

Believe me Nothing helps if the husband doesn't have a brain. Since it is a show and supposed to have a happy ending I am hopeful and that is why I am watching
