I thought it was sonakshi who will sense a true ishu but now it's dev who will sense his mother's insecure feelings and there the tug of war begins.After sensing that he will not share this thing with sona and manage the situations and ultimately he will fail. It's nice to see how a devoted son slowly turning against her mother because after knowing truth he can easily remove godly image of her mother and finding sona correct in that situation he can sense the difference and will think logically that who is correct and who is not

I don't think Dev is getting any clue abt Ish not ready to share Dev with Sona and Asha (yes Ish competing with Asha now ). And Dev is still unaware abt how his family members treat Sona as outsider. He kept Mum when Neha n then later Mami insulted Sona...he was only worried about his mother's anger. He noticed Sona doesn't know anything about Riya's alliance, still he did not tell her anything, even after promising Sona to not treat her as outsider.

That cute jhoola scene meant absolutely nothing when Dev doesn't even bother to stand up for Sona. But why Sona kept quiet today...why are CVs turning this bengal tigress to an actual submissive khargosh.

But the biggest issue is with Mamaji...he knows everything that is going wrong - Ish insecurities, Ish unable to accept Sona n Ish makjng no efforts to bond with Sona even after so many talks with Mama ji...then why Mama ji not having a chat with Dev or Sona. Today Ish gave a kasam, but why Mama ji kept quiet till now.

Nah! It was just another subconscious move to find a reason for the indifference for Sonakshi. He is trying to convince himself or trying to see a false image that all this is happening because Ishwari is upset about something. Even when Ishwari cut the call without replying, he said "Maa abhi bhi pareshan hai"

And yes he will I have faith too..after cooling down a bit I felt this will bring make him feel it too..

Yes it was absurd for Neha to come and taunt..didnt make sense..thoguh she was conveying what Ish said ..but the tone she used infact it showed how Ishwari would have said same thing..the bitterness was clearly their and Dev oh felt it too ( thank god )..Oh dining table scene was another upsetting moment..Sona clearly not included in family issues, her reaction was hurting she felt bad and so did I :( and even Dev again felt ..He even went after Ishwari to clarify whats the problem because he is thinking its because of him that Ish is angry ..and again it struck him hard , something is majorly wrong..oh mamiji your dream of not having Bengali bahu is badly broken already abhi toh bahu select ho gayi hai ..and guess what she is BENGALI HAHA..I laughed so hard hearing that..mami is one bitch she barks and I ignore or laugh ..who bloody cares

Dev was still in denial mode. He thought Ishwari was cold because she was annoyed with him.

Actually who can think that a mothr can think like that..it wil be a major shock actually for Dev ..He cant even in his wildest dream imagine that Ishwari is extremely possessives she is insecure she has some genuine problems ..no child can assume so ..and his confusion is genuine

Mamaji is boon for Dixits ..they are blessed to have him..but I have one issue..he comes and starts off everything on nice note with positive vibe..and Ishwari too vents out her emotions..and he even clarifys them but then even he is not able to reach the root cause of it..He takes it lightly by considering is as tiny problem but how frivolous it looks it is actually not..also in the end every time he says..Dev and you are special unique and all..which I believe just deletes all the logic inserted in her head few minutes back :(..Also Ishwari tried conveying further how she didn't like Dve feeding Asha but..stopped coz mamji's response made her do so..she never reveals everything completely and cover it up saying "dheery dheery aadat ho jayegi"..which is NEVER going to happen.sighh

Yes toy thing is going perfectly ..that I have to say Cvs are sticking so cleverly to it..yes but tomorrow she wil have no excuse to not include Sona and that's why somewhere her fakness slipped away a little bit

Yes how in rough tone she started the call..no politeness at all..yes she was stone face..no expressions nothing..even after mamaji explained her still it didn't affected her ine bit ..no effort she made to accept it

Yes his confidence and trust on Sona showed ..he know she can take his place in his absence and that's true too when husband can not do something wife take initiative to do it..and that's what he wanted..

well swing LOL..I laughed how cutely he said .."who agey peechey jata hai" ..though he considered it just as swing ..its dream thing for Sona but obviously he didn't know that coz he was busy with Bluetooth call LOL..I wont say he disliked it..I would say he felt unsual coz he isn't used to changes..I could completely imagine myself in that reaction..how I like something but not too open with changes ..but I appreciate he accepted he welcomed it sweetly for Sona..he is open to changes ..thats such a big thing..HAHA I don't think fairy lights and all will cause further problem coz big problem has been tackled (jhoola ji) so these are smaller in front of it..I hope I will not be proved wrong LOL.. yes she could see he wasn't too comfortable with it..and properly clarified it instead of taking his one halfhearted yes as his happy approval :)

oh I forgot to add..how Ishwari continuously said .."tumhe nahi pata Dev ko kaisa laga.. tum toh Dev ko itna ache se jaanti ho" she repeated it quite a few times again indicating how she knows Dev in best way ..huh

oh thir moments are so warm and so sweet ..just makes me smile <3 yes I wish who selfie moment dikha dete it was such a adorable selfie aww <3

Yes precap gives me lots of hopes..Ishwari was incorrigible..I cant believe how she said IF dev cant come toh tumhari kya zaroorat hai..wow..thats like direct attack..saaf saaf she showed she doesn't consider her important..her part of this house or this family..and she clearly indicated that ..and abhi bhi kuch nahi hoga toh I will surely be disappointed sigh :(

Very unfortunate but this double standard can be seen everywhere. .

Another instance from the same episode, A MIL expects DIL to know everything before marriage but doesn't want to make her daughter work before her marriage.

very apt title saumie... dev will see soon and the reason will be ishwari only...more ishwari throws tantrum more he will see things clearly...

few points after today's episode...

1) ishwari is more pissed at dev than sona merely coz he is changing and change is something she doesn't like...

2) dev is very clear now that every decision of about his life will be with sonakshi... he might get upset with changes in his room but he is ready now to take them and accept them willingly...

3) ishwari can do anything to keep sona out of family matters but sona is definitely playing major role in riya's marriage... riya and nikki are more comfortable with sona and she will share about it with sona than ishwari...

4) riya and nikki aren't dumb they understand everything happening in the house... nikki's honeymoon comment is answer to this...

what i feel riya's marriage will be eye opener for everybody... dev will clearly see what is his mother's problem and i have a doubt that dev might react impulsively taking drastic decision regarding him and ishwari...i am very sure now that there is no separation of dev and sona...

p.s- neha get a life and start working you might help somebody with that money...

p.p.s- why do i feel this time outburst will be of dev... he is soon going to loose his patience in regard to ishwari...

Yes, Saumiee, Dev will indeed see soon and my heart breaks for him even before then. How is he supposed to handle the fact that his mother does not accept his wife, as his wife? Dev adores his mother and he loves his wife. Why should he choose between the two and that is what Ishwari is expecting him to do.

What a heart breaking realization it would be for him when he realizes that Sona was right. That his mother had indeed given him the toy she had thrown away, just to keep him from crying for it?

What does a son do in a situation like? It is a tangled web and lets be practical here...Dev-Sona are not in a nuclear family but in a joint one. I must say Dev Dixit has never had it easy in life and even though his mother may have worked hard to support him in childhood, she was the reason for his downfall (personally and professionally during separations track) and will continue to remain so in the coming time.

I would like to use Sona's words here ."Come on (Dev), fight for what is yours? When did you ever get anything you want easily in life?" Fight for Sona at least this time around.

This time around Dev cannot blindly choose his mother for the sake of old loyalties coz he has responsibility towards Sona too and he has promised to keep her safe and to protect her from all hardships (infertility papers). And I don't think he will let down Sona intentionally this time. But how are you supposed to tell off your mother, the woman who supposedly fought hardships to set you on the path to success? Yet, he needs to, should the need arise. After all Ishwari is busy building walls to keep Sona from Dev and that is not done.

On one hand, watching Ishwari is becoming painful coz I hate saas bahu politics but I am curious to see how the cvs will handle this without going the typical saas bahu stories way.

P.S - As a woman it is hard to watch Sona facing what is happening to your in the Dixit house. It is heart breaking. But I know one thing...whenever Ishwari tried to hurt Sona, it came to bite IShwari 100 fold. And nothing will give me more satisfaction than to be her own catalyst. She will be buried in her own grave until the day she realizes that Sona is made for her and Dev is happiest when he is with Sona and not without her.

PPS - To all those, who keep worrying about GKB,I want to remind you of the theft scene and dev-sone scene before the accident. He tells Sona that he tries to keep everyone in the family happy. That is him and Sona knows that. But lets bide our time...GKB will be taught her lesson in the most relevant way and she will appreciate Sona more than we can ever believe.
