Dev will see soon!

There is no way he can ignore it further. . .

Dev has already started noticing how Sonakshi is not considered family and how it is hurting her.

There is no one day solution to it so Sonakshi and Dev found a shortcut. To add that sense of belonging, they started with the room.

Dev saw it twice today-

When Neha came to taunt the couple.

(Can I please add how ridiculous it was on Neha's part to enter their room just to taunt them!? It seems as if Dev is Cindrella and Ishwari is his stepmom and Neha his step-sister) Sonakshi tried to cover up by going to the kitchen but Dev (note, for the first time we saw him speaking out his thought) said "Maa ne aise kyu kaha?"

- At the dining table, Dev saw Sonakshi was being excluded from the family talks, he noticed how GKB and ish ignored her questions. How pathetically GKB taunted her with the Bengali thing.

(Poor Sonakshi, I feel so bad for her...everyone just keeps a sharp pin handy for bursting her bubbles)

- Dev was still in denial mode. He thought Ishwari was cold because she was annoyed with him. Dear Dev, it is not you who is at fault. And you are confused because you cannot understand what exactly is the reason for her indifference. You will never understand because it is very complex. Very complex to understand that your own mother doesn't want to share you with anyone. There is no other reason for her annoyance. That safety thing was an excuse, yes she was worried but the bigger concern was Dev mingling with Boses.

- Thank God for Mamaji👏 He is always there at the right time to give temporary intellect to Ishwari. Ishwari vents out her emotions infront of him and most often than not, he clarifies the dirt from it. How wonderfully he explained that It is worth admiring that Dev has accepted them without Ish teaching anything.

- Ishwari's toy promo holds true till date. Sonakshi is Dev's wife but holds no importance for Ishwari in 'her' family. How conveniently she excludes her from everything!

- I felt bad for Dev, he is so burdened by everything. Had it been old Ish, she would have atleast in a nice tone, asked him to not worry as she was there to handle all. Rven before he mentioned Sona's name, she was plain-faced.

- Dev's reaction was surprising. During the phone call as well, it shows how for Dev Sonakshi is, in true sense, his better half. He has no qualms about her presence. Obviously why would he? loved how he said with pride that Sona would handle everything in a jiffy😃

- Felt really relieved when Dev,inspite of Disliking the swing went ahead with keeping it. Thats the way to do it DevAkshi😳 Dev's dialogues

"Maine tumse nahi kaha aisa hai to tum kyu soch rahi ho. Tumhe pasand hai na, bas baat khatm👏😳"

"Meri pasand badal bhi to sakti hai na"😳

"Is room ko har us cheez se bhar do jo tumhe pasand hai" (looks like sona will take it wayyy tooo seriously, fairylights and all)😆

"Agar ye tumhe khushi deta hai toh theek hai na"

So proud of u dev👏 This was not expected, honestly😆

And Sona got it just right as well. She could read how he wasn't that happy and like a lost puppy, she went around asking everyone about the swing. Roaming everywhere, her heart found solace only when Dev himself said he was okay. I liked how she valued that it was 'their' room and his liking was as important😳

-Sona was so so so so excited, literally like a kid she was elated! Loved the Dev clicking photo part😳 the haathi khargosh joke😆 the super warm hug😳 and obviously the 'selfie-which-was-never-taken'😕😆

-God, why is everything left to our imagination?😡 This is one and only complaint for cvs😆

The precap is a shocker for Dev as well. Hope Sonakshi discusses it with him and this will be the first step where Dev would not be able to deny that Sonakshi is not given the place of his wife in the house. Till now, he has many other excuses or reasons to justify Ishwari. Not his fault, why would any child even want to see that His mother, his God is not very compatible with his wife, his life. It will take a lot of courage on his part to accept that.

Oh and how did Ishwari forget that she was the one who sent Sonakshi to her Maayka, when she knew Dev and Sona had fought? How could she advice her to sort the issues before going there?

And hypocrisy at its best, when she asked her to keep the household arguements under wraps always. . Is that what she will advice Rhea or Neha? What about Neha who did the same in a much more maginified way? Leave Neha and rhea, would she adivce the same to Dev. . That don't share your marital woes with parents.

Dev was, is and will ways be spineless. He's all lovey lovey and supportive in the bedroom. One step out of the bedroom, he doesn't care what people of his family say about Sonakshi. His mami, who by the way has taken shelter in his house, has the audacity to taunt Sonakshi in front of Dev and Dev sits there like he heard nothing. Such values, much wow!

And what is so amazing about letting Sonakshi put the swing in the room? She's his wife. I think there was no need for her to ask permission for re-decorating the room.

Did he? I thought he was worried about why his mom is upset with him? I hated to see him not taking stand for Sonakshi when he understood she knew nothing of the proposal.

Totally agree. A step out of their little bubble, who Sona? Stay away from my family 😲😡

Loved ur post👏you nailed it beautifully! This is the double standard and hypocrisy of Indian society ...the partially between daughters and daughters in law...this has been going on since generations and god knows till when!

Ah! I don't think spineless is the word for it. He is confused right now, I agree he comes across as weak and silent but he is as always unaware of all the politics that is happening behind him.

For GKB, he is silent because he doesn't give her much importance but GKB's blabbers are just added as a masala and a catalyst in the show for Dev to see what exactly is happening.

Na, no big deal ofcourse. I said amazing because there was already so much build up about Dev not liking the Swing, specially how Ishwari said that Sona will learn herself. And considering how particular he has always been about the room and it is his room as well, it is nice to see him pleasantly accept the changes when Sona was paranoid about it herself.
