Thank you for the awesome analysis. It is very true what you said. I was out with some friends yesterday for night out and we were talking about teaching our kids to give first preference to their wives first. It is sooo damn funny that we talked that yesterday after seeing today's episode...😆
I think Ishwari's biggest fear is fear of abandonment. Looks like she was married to Dev's dad when she was a very young girl and lost him very early too. After that probably she looked to her brother( maamaji) to give her that assurance, but given that he has GKB as his wife, he might not have been able to provide the needed support. Since Ishwari believes in that patriarchal system with son being the one, she fears that Dev might abandon her once he becomes involved with his family. i.e. Sonakshi and her family Hence she is trying very hard to make sure that Dev does not develop that deep bond with Sonakshi or her family.

Even then it does not make her behaviour any less creepy. I mean seriously waiting for her son like that is ridiculous. She did the same on resort night too after knowing where they might have gone. He did let Neha know he is at Bose house. Shoudn't that be enough for a mom. Why wait till that time and expect to talk to him.? Ugh 🤢

But I think this is just the beginning of Ishwari's downward spiral. Slowly she is not able to maintain that facade of she is ok with Dev-Sona's wedding. Slowly but surely her mask is coming off and it is not good to see. Pretty soon, the mask will be completely off.

Just my POV. waiting to see how the story unfolds...😊

No wonder, Dev never had any friends. Who will be friends with someone who has to give attendance for every moment of his life?

True. I can't even imagine how embarrassing Ishwari's behavior must be for Dev.

Can't imagine that she calls up at his in-laws place at 2am and in spite of Bijoy telling him "Dev yahin hain", she demands that she wants to talk to him at 2am. And the worst thing is she is gonna show up in their house in the morning.

How would any adult man feel if his parents behave this way especially when he is staying at his in-laws place.

I guess Ishwari will learn her lesson only if Dev moves out of Ishwari Niwas along with Sona.

If at all the CV's are planning to show one more break up, I want them to show Dev-Ishwari break up instead of Dev-Sona. I hope during the prenup/infertility track Dev will go against Ishwari and completely support Sona. He should leave all his property and move out of Ishwari Niwas ... Only then Ishwari might learn her lesson.

Ishwari is suffocating Dev to an extent that he cannot even breathe without her permission. Out of all her 4 kids, I feel sorry for Dev the most.

If this is how Ishwari loves, then Neha is lucky that Ishwari doesn't love her.

Oh yes. Ishwari has a lot of mental issues. There's no doubt about that. How can someone remotely normal behave like that is beyond my understanding. However, the way she is reacting is actually paving her way to being abandoned. The tighter you want to bind someone, the more they crave freedom. It's human nature to want to be free whether it's from guilt or pressure of expectations or restrictions.

Dev smiled more at Bose house than he does around his own family. So obviously he'd crave their company.

But Ishwari could have easily waited for Dev and Sona to come home before talking to him. But she embarrassed him by showing up at Bose house which you could see from his expression.

That is absolutely wrong thing to do.

Yes, absolutely. I also can't decide who got it worse - the forever neglected daughter or the overly restricted son. In my opinion, they are both unfortunate. Riya and Nikki got spared because of Neha's upbringing. Otherwise Ishwari would have screwed them up too.

And yes, I also want to see Dev and Ishwari break up. But I doubt it would happen. Years of brainwashing is not easy to get over.

Ok I watched today's episode 😃 My thoughts here 😃

1. Neha - My heart goes to this poor girl honestly, how much ever I try I can't feel anger at her. There are kids who are obedient, non-demanding and calm, who are sensitive to their parents' condition and have the ability to control their desire accordingly. But, there are also some kids who do not have that much control on their desires, on their will. While the first bunch of kids are good by default, kids from the second category need efforts from the parents to make them understand things, to explain them why they cannot afford something, and definitely need extra care and love so that the things which they want can be compensated by the love from the parents. But under no circumstances we blame the child for not understanding the situations. After all it's a child and it is YOUR responsibility, as a parent we cannot demand understanding from a KID. But when I look at Neha, since childhood she had lots of desires unlike Dev. Dev was a child from the first category, sensitive and non-demanding, more so may be because he was the eldest one. But Neha grew up watching Dev having all the things he might not want, but she is not given those things. Dev gets a new shirt, she gets an old clothe refurbished. But Ishwari, instead of making her understand, sitting with her and spending time with her, left her alone with 2 kids which Neha was no way responsible or accountable for. And till today, she strives for that love 💔. No, Neha does not want materialistic pleasure, she has chosen Ranveer with eyes wide open. She knows her limitations and priorities. But sadly somehow Ranveer failed to convince her how much he loves her. Yes, fault lies in Neha that she cannot make Ranveer feel soothing like Sona does to Dev, but I feel sad today because I realize just 1 lone meeting, with few conversations, if Ranveer hugs Neha, this girl will melt and readily forget all her demands etc etc. All she wants is love, all she is looking from Ranveer is to make up for all the love she did not get from her mom, her brother, her family and from anyone. Just 1 lone encounter with Ranveer will break her down .

2. Now coming to Sonakshi Bose 😈 Somehow I feel this is all a part of her Master-plan. Last scene where Sona thinks of Neha is from the 1st floor and the convo with Mamaji. And if I have read this character correctly, this is not Sona who will not think about Neha-Ranveer issue even for ONCE ever since she came to Bose house . She is not of a kind who would take revenge from Dev THIS way and would stretch a fight THIS long when she is actually convinced that Dev's sorry (yes, she is convinced, her smile while looking at her phone when Dev was calling says it all). She could not make Dev understand about how wrong they are in dealing with Ranveer-Neha's issue, hence, might have just decided to show him a live example 😉. Probably she is going to talk it out with Dev in next 2 episodes, and then would disclose about her successful Bose orientation class 😎. I am 75% confident that this is the motive behind all her drama 😉. Sona, prove me right baby

3. Bose parents - OMG can I just HUG them 🤗 Asha is one of the CUTEST mom I have ever seen in Television, the way she controlled her smile when Dev said Sona is not allowing him into her room take a bow Moonmoon 😆 And then her hushed scolding to Baba - this is why I said don't drink too much 🤣 I absolutely LOVE her. And like Tia said - Bijoy even in his drunken state is 100 times better parent than Ishwari 🥳. Both Devakshi looked cutest when teacher threw them out of class 🤣 And Bijoy's proud yet naughty love when he informed Ishwari about the same 🤣 It seemed like someone is talking in French to Ishwari 🤣

4. Ishwari - I have never seen more an inconsiderate mother than Ishwari. Calling someone's place at 2:00 AM was not enough, ask them to call your sleeping child to have a chit-chat or rather scoldings from you at that hour of the day 🤔. Hope Dev realizes the suffocation of Dixit Kaalkothri when both of them will land in that place tomorrow. Scoldings, taunts, judgements, orders, complaints, restrictions - DEFINE that place. Hope Dev decides to spend 2 days a week at Bose house from now on. Is that too much to ask for 😡

My rant's over. 😃 A very refreshing episode !!

Beautiful analysis Tia & Pehchaan.Kaun - You have said it all.

Dev does realize that Dixit mansion is kaal kothri. That's why he's being smart enough to not call Ishwari and tell her his whereabouts. He prefers calling Neha and informing her instead 😃 I really don't want Sona to fall for his sorry tomorrow. Just like she made him realize before their confession that it's ok to accept some wrong expectations from your family member because it's your family (when Neha asks him to make Ranveer rich), I want him to realize the wrong treatment of Neha-RV issue by Dixits on his own. AND also the fact that it's not ok to consider his wife an outsider when solving the Dixit family problems.

Ishwariii... it's better not to say anything about her. IMO that's beyond creepy. I wonder what she did when Dev went for Business trips. Did he find time to report to her with the time difference and meeting schedules?

Elena - Vicky 🤢 Total wasted plot IMO.

I wish Sona & Suarav lots of success in their new venture. Perhaps Vicky will land Dev in financial crisis and Sona's new business will bail Dev out of the crisis? 😕 AT least then will Ishwari change her treatment for Sona? Not sure if CVs will use any such smart idea.

Agreed. Sometimes what we THINK we want may not be what we truly NEED. Therein lies the difference. No one taught the difference to any of the Dixits.

Ishwari wants Dev constantly around her to pander to her insecurity. But she doesn't need him to hover over her to be assured of his loyalty.

Vicky wanted the managerial post to stroke his ego, but considering how lazy he is and how he has zero expense since they live in Dixit house, he did not need that particular high post that requires hard work.

Neha wants divorce and luxury but she does not need any of them to be happy.

Dev thinks he wants Sona only for his personal happiness, but he does not need Sona as much for him as he needs her for his abnormal family.

Sona wants the entire Dixit family's love, but she doesn't need anyone but Dev's unconditional support.

You see, I grew up in India watching Bollywood movies and I thought I wanted to be married to Shahrukh Khan who will dance in the rain with me, take me out for candlelight dinner, shower rose petals on me from helicopter...

But what I really needed was a man who stood up against even Canadian govt. for me, who comes home after 12 hour work day and yet takes time to help me clean up the kitchen, who didn't buy a new Nikon pro camera even though photography is his passion but spent that money that he was saving up for years for my eye surgery.

We don't always get what we want, but then we don't always need what we want.

Neha needs to understand that to truly be happy.

About Sona, I believe she is upset. But she is not vengeful. I think you are right and she is trying to make a point. But even if she is not trying to make any point, I hope Dev take that lesson anyway and apply.

Bijoy Bose and Asha are couple goal. No one comes close in terms of understanding, support and love for each other, not even Sona and Dev. But if they keep them as goals, they have potential to reach there.

The least I say about Ishwari is better. She is on my nerves constantly these days. I am glad I don't know anyone like her because I am not very good at mincing my words and/or keeping my mouth shut. Feel really sorry for people who know people like her though.

Thanks. @Bold, OMG I'd love to see that. I hope CVs use that idea. Dixit's arrogance comes from Dev's wealth. If he gets into crisis because of Ishwari's advice and Sona and Saurabh bail them out, Dev should then hand over 51% share to Sona to protect since she does not owe anyone anything for Dev's past and rename the company with Sonakshi's name. Then the entire Dixit clan will be under Sona's mercy.

😃 I just WISH this happens. The whole Dixit arrogance comes from their money-power. All they understand is the language of money. If they don't have any, it will bring them down to earth. Cheap but true 🥱.

And one more thing I would like to point out - My home is temple my mom lives there I don't drink blah blah blah 😆 Mandir must be suffocating you to death with your God slapping you left right and centre with responsibility, dark past and reminding you of your mistake nonsense 😆 Bose baba also did remind you of your mistake (tum chota nahi peete 😉😆) but look how !! 😛 This is what family is man. Never mind, go back to your temple and you will definitely feel the difference 😆 Drinking doesn't matter if 'niyat' is right, Bose family is indeed the true temple despite them drinking inside it 😉 And Dixit Kaalkothri with all 'Strict Rules and Regulations' - no smoking/no drinking blah blah - is still a poisonous place 😛😆
