I have seen a lot many discussions on Dev's action and his outburst in yesterday's episode. Even i wanted to share my thoughts on the same. Sometimes, i don't get it why do people jump their guns after an episode, when any of the character do something wrong.
There has been lot many episodes in between, with a lot of meaningful scenes, where we get something endearing. We get to see the growing bond, realistic situations and close to reality reactions of the characters. But nobody talks about them these days. I just don't know why.
But after 2-3 episodes if any of the character does something, which is not right... Everybody comes in starts the rant of the character being butchered and their's no hope with the character further. How many of us our perfect, who never makes a mistake or do a blunder. Every single situation and circumstances in our lives are perfect??? Then why do we expect the makers to show everything perfect. Every character perfect. If we expect them to show things close to reality, we need to accept realistic situations too.
It has happened with almost all the major characters of the show. Ishwari, Neha and specially with Sona and Dev. Sona's character is being butchered according to many of the forum members. But i am finding her even more sensible. Handling things with maturity and standing strong facing all the problems and coming out as a winner.
And for Dev, people has said so much about Dev and still does... It needs just a single scene. A single action from Dev and that makes many forget about everything he has done so far. The growth in the character. The changes in Dev... Everything all of a sudden vanishes from their minds.
Lets talk about yesterday's scene... I'll not say Dev was right in getting Ranveer fired from the job. No... He was wrong in doing that... But lets look at the turn of events here. Things were already not good. He's already extremely tensed about his sister. And Dev would have never done what he has done today, if Ranveer had not filed the "Mental Harassment" case against Neha. This left him agitated.
I have seen people telling Dev needs medical help. Guys, do you even know what "Mental Harassment" case actually mean. This will not only make people point fingers towards Neha, which actually doesn't matter (Coz for me what the others think hardly matters.) but it'll also make the girl mentally disturbed. And being a brother, it has hurt Dev deep.
Whatever may be Neha-Ranveer's divorce matter, they both have agreed for the divorce, i don't think there was a need for Ranveer to file a harassment case here. What is the difference between him and Neha then. If we call Neha impulsive... We are pointing her mistakes then here Ranveer is at fault. He's been impulsive.
Dev got Ranveer fired from the job, because this is how his character is. He panics when the matter is about his family. He gets angry. He just don't give a second thought to anything and do whatever he feels is right at the moment. Dev is changing, but don't expect a complete 360 Degrees change in him overnight. It takes a lot of time for a person to even change a single habit..!!!
It was about his sister and what Ranveer did too is extreme and Dev took an impulsive decision. And it is the same Dev, who can do anything when it comes to his family. Let him calm down. Let him understand what is wrong and what is right..!!
We all know Newton's third law of motion: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
This is not only applicable to physics but human emotions too. Ranveer did the action and Dev's was the equal but opposite reaction to it.
Put yourself in a brother's shoe and then think... Not all, but some of us would have done the same Dev did in anger.
Here i want both Ranveer and Dev to rectify their mistakes. Because Ranveer was the one to act and what Dev did was the reaction to it.
All are discussing about what Dev did is wrong, but i have not seen a single post on Ranveer's action. Is Ranveer not at fault? Is it that simple to file a mental harassment case against your wife? Is it justified?
What Sona said is absolutely correct "Dev aap aise nahi hai". Dev is not like this, but his anger makes him the rude Dev Dixit. And for him, his family comes first. He has worked really hard to give them this secured and safe life.
Call me a fangirl or whatsoever. I am saying it aloud... I am a die-hard DevAkshi fan. But that doesn't mean i always consider them to be correct. Sometimes they do make mistakes, but i don't take a gun and starts firing.đ And yes i am the one who said i have accepted Dev with all his flaws and can say it again.
Yesterday Dev told Sona "Har cheez me kuch na kuch positive dhundh hi leti ho tum"... And i guess this is what even i do all the time. And that's the reason, i always find a hope for things to get sorted.
This is just my POV... And you all are free to share yours..!!!đ
