To be happy is an art and every person can't be an artist. Its very difficult to define things which make one happy. Things which may have given you happiness once may be the things of sorrow today.

Happiness is just a function of many variables with time as one mandatory variable (@ tia - being an engineer think in terms of mathematical modelling and not at all offended by your view point for engineers😆)

One has to extract happiness from whatever we possess and Neha is just money obsessed and doesn't know this art.

Coming back to the point, Neha is like that little girl who asks for the moon because it's pretty and dreamy. But it's the parents' responsibility to make her realize that it's an impossible dream.

She is jealous of not only Sona, but she will be jealous of anyone content and/or happy with their life because she is not content or happy.

How can she be?

Instead of looking to fix a problem, she expects others to fall into place or fix it for her.

Ishwari is probably the worst mother out there. She didn't do anything a mother should do. She didn't once sit down with Neha and asked her what she wants nor try to make her come up with alternate solution. She was just happy to have a scapegoat to further her agenda. She says that she knows Neha. Does she? I doubt she knows ANY of her children including Dev.

Sona's bringing Ranveer home may or may not solve Neha's issues, but at least it will bring a conclusion to Neha's situation hanging in a limbo so that they can all move on with their lives.

Dev again supported Sona because even he is tired of being put in an impossible situation.

Is Neha stubborn? Yes.

Is she hot headed? Yes

But the best way to show her what she really wants is not dancing to her tunes, but either totally ignoring her so that she realized what she is missing by choosing to mope around instead of changing the situation (not her husband, but her circumstances) or applying reverse psychology.

Because it seems that Neha is currently doing exact opposite of what Dev and Sona are saying.

Just like I said in Ishwari's case, when someone is unreasonable and unmanageable, you don't do them any favour by dancing to their tune. If you are really their well-wisher, show them the mirror.

Sometimes you have to be harsh to be kind. Because living in limbo is like stagnant water which starts to pollute its environment with bitterness and despair.

Sorry, I was super busy with work and home today since we are again going away this weekend. So could not answer every one of your comments individually. But I am reading all of them. This comment kind of sums everything up that I want to say.

Neha has been one of the characters that I absolutely adored on the show. She was Bold - she even broke her marriage ( The first one) because she did not want children, she was not afraid to voice what she felt, was a wonderful surrogate mother to Riya and Nikki and In my opinion the only person in Dixit house who knew Easwari true colors.

Neha was a neglected child there is no ifs and buts about it, she was given a great responsibility as a child to take care of her little sisters while she watched Dev get a lot of attention including all the perks. That alone is enough to severely scar a human being but the beauty of it was she never had issues with Dev or his happiness and as far as , Riya and Nikki she was like a surrogate mother to them that makes me believe she is a good soul. I for one dont even believe her issue is with Ranveer but with Easwari and this acting out is all the suppressed anger and emotional pain that she was subjected to when she was young.

I remember one poignant scene with Ranveer when she talks about not ever having a doll to play with , another haunting scene was when pencils were given to everyone except her.

It is a rule that the child who cries the loudest gets the attention she did not cry when she was a child and is doing so now.

Yes it is unfair on Ranveer but in my opinion I dont thing Neha even has the emotional maturity to understand that she is doing wrong. She fell in Love with Ranveer , in my opinion very rushed because he was the first one who paid exclusive attention to her. She knew that Ranveer was poor but just like before when her A/C broke down she thought her brother will solve that part of the equation the money part. But what she did not take into equation is that Ranveer may have his own thoughts on the subject.

Here is where I feel that she really is emotionally scarred to even understand that and to it is added GKB influence as seen in earlier episodes GKB did have an unusual bond with her and could influence her.

This influence is what is happening when she sees Dev and Sona happy and in her mind Sona is also poor financially but is enjoying every luxury and enjoying Love then why can she do the same.(The thought of Sona enjoying is a seed that GKB has sown). when you have the emotional maturity of a child we are susceptible to directions especially from an adult who does have influence on her.

Like I said before the child which cries the most gets the attention and this Divorce is her cry for help.

The past scars in this case runs deep and need to be healed first. So in my opinion she needs healing more than anything else.

You have to make peace with your past in order to keep your future from being a constant battle here she needs to make peace with herself and the past first.
