In reality as a Mother we want the best for all our children not one over the other. When one child is less successful the parents I will use the term Mother here does pamper and protect that child more , same for emotional support as well. So the weakest child or the child that needs more attention does get attention. This is the truth and I can vouch for it as a Mother. - Exactly, the weakest child gets more attention from the mother. But Ishwari is may be the only mother who pampers her strongest child.

Secondly, when a child is in trouble, the mother tries to help. What has Ishwari done for Neha to help her situation? Her whole attention is at Dev and Sona's relationship which is fine without her interference. Yet, her daughter's relationship is broken, but she didn't even bother to contact Ranveer to find out his side of the story. She just needs Neha to continue grieving so that she can use her to make Dev feel guilty.

If the show had portrayed that Easwari treated Neha the same as Dev than as a mother if we see that that child is unhappy (her married life in this case) the mother would have spoken to Dev to maybe keep Neha's sensitivities in mind and that is a valid ask in my opinion. - That's a valid request if it followed by Ishwari taking steps to help her child. It's not valid step when she is doing absolutely nothing for Neha yet expects Dev to be sensitive about Neha.

But here we have not seen such bonding. Yes, Neha has a troubled marriage and seeing that her brother is having a good one can cause her unhappiness. But Easwari here is not a concerned mother for Neha but is resorting to blatant emotional blackmail to stop Dev from having any fun that does not involve her and using Neha as an excuse and this to me is where the Characterization of Easwari from being an insecure mother to one who is deliberately manipulative is being portrayed and I as a mother cannot accept that. - Yes, exactly. Ishwari so far not only has done nothing, but when she should be calling Ranveer and trying to come up with a solution to help them, she is busy calling Dev to find out what is he up to with his own wife. That is where her concern regarding Neha's situation looks completely fake.

In all this the only conclusion I can come to is Drama for Drama's sake is what is happening on this show with the sensitivities deeply buried that as a viewer I am unable to see it

Like I mentioned before. Ignoring a problem won't make it go away. The first step to solving a problem is acknowledging that there is a problem. Yes, the past was difficult, yada, yadi, yada...

But if a past makes people unbalanced enough to make them incapable to live a normal life, does it mean that they don't deserve treatment or help? Giving excuses has never helped fix anything.

Making accommodation and being understanding is fine as long as you add treatment to fix the solution because excuses only lasts so long.

And her concern appears at her convenience.As long as Dev is spending time with only her,she gives no thought to her daughter's problem.She would stay awake the whole night waiting for her son,be content and happy as soon as he eats meals cooked by her and can peacefully sleep without even thinking about talking with Neha or trying to solve her problem.But as soon as Sona comes into equation,she suddenly transforms into a worried mother who has been unable to rest for even a single moment due to Neha.I wonder,would Neha raise this point in future?

Yeah, that excuse is as fake as her concern for Neha. She has done absolutely nothing but hover over Dev and Sona since Neha came back from her in-laws. A concern mother will hover over the child who is in pain, not over the child who has everything already sorted.

I doubt he will be able to take that advice Tia.He would much rather collapse at the wheels due to exhaustion than talk to the old passenger.The old passenger has kept control over her driver through invisible strings and the driver has never taken a step to try and cut those.Plus to follow that advice he needs to see something wrong with the existing arrangement,which he doesn't. According to him both the passengers are entirely comfortable and enjoying the ride.The new passenger will have to fight for her space or get down the bus.

Which is what I wanted Sona to do in the first place. She needs to sit on her rightful place and not move from there an inch. Like today she gave the proper answer to Ishwari when she again tried to push her away.

Not only it was creepy, but it's disturbing because it's coming from a mother and not a discarded wife whose husband brought a second wife. That scene reminded me of a show I used to watch called "Kahin To Hoga". There a girl Kashish loved a guy names Sujal, but married his brother Piyush because of misunderstanding. Sujal used to behave like Ishwari at night when Kashish was in Piyush's bedroom.

She was waiting for the right moment.She'll attack when Dev is alone & vulnerable.Her words might not have created the same impact today that they would in the next episode.And of course,she successfully keeps up her image as well.

That's the first thing I thought on seing the precap.Double attack😆If one fails,she always has the tried & tested sickness card to play.

from precap, we see Dev and Ishwari wearing different clothes from what we saw in the segment where decide was about to leave for his HM and he cancels it

SO looks like first she will use Neha as the bait... So Dev may say I wont go as it wont look good and Neha will be upset ... If I guess it right, Neha will come and ask them not to cancel their trip and ask them to go ahead.. So they will continue to the day of the trip

You know there are three possibilities that come to my mind regarding this:

1.Neha-As you said

2. Dev might speak about canceling but Ishwari will act as if that is not what she wants & tell him not to cancel his plan hoping he'll still cancel(given that she thinks Dev wouldn't be able to stay away from her+ emotional blackmail regarding Neha)But Dev will actually consider it genuine & agree to not change his plans.

3. Dev will not cancel but will feel guilty & assure Ishwari that he'll fix the problem.

Then tada,, looks like Ishu faints just when they are about to leave... that will force Dev to cancel ...
seriously Ishwari needs treatment or counselling or atleast someone who can constantly show her mirror when ever she starts taking this route..

I am waiting for Sonakshi to realise this problem.I think the honeymoon drama would make her suspicious(guessing from the segments).Neha can show her the mirror,but at this point she is stressed about her own life & if she speaks up Ishwari would not be able to use her to make Dev feel guilty so she might just ensure that Neha returns to live with Ranveer.

There were spoilers that Sona is gonna reunite Neha and Ranveer. She is going to take Neha out for shopping and accidentally make her meet Ranveer. Not sure if it is true. But seems like it might happen after Ishwari's honeymoon cancellation drama.

As you said Ishwari is right now using Neha just to make Dev guilty. Sona might fix Neha's issue and take that Neha-card away from Ishwari.

I want Sona to go to honeymoon with Dev right under Ishwari's nose once Neha issue is fixed.

Sona should defeat Ishwari in all her games and make Dev fly.
