Why does Ishwari want to be alone with Dev all the time? I think this is where I think that it is creepy. On the other hand, Sona and Dev are fine including other members (ishwari too) when they are talking with each other. ishwari sent Sona to her room. Couldn't they both wait for Dev? She also told Ria to stay back when she was going on a shopping trip and then was sad to see Sona and Dev talking with each other at the shop.

sad but true that most moms want some lone time with their child...
its not creepy...I would rather say they are so attached to their son that some time alone they would feel like talking to them...

I'm not saying it just like that its my own experience...my mom-in-law speaks to my husband at least for about 30mins everyday...Initially it was very frustrating for me...but later on i understood...she was very attached to her son...my FIL being in camps most of their married life...she had only her son sharing her problems and helping her out...

Its as simple as you want to spend your lone time with your parents...

She is happy for Dev-Sona to have their own time. She just doesnt want Sona's appearance to change some of their habits - Dev having diner with ma being one of them. Dev has dinner when he comes home, if other people are around she is happy for them to be there. In last night's episode, she asked Sona to go to her room on purpose. She was as usual insecure

Very rarely a DIL is treated as daughter...especially when it comes some family things...
then obviously DIL is excluded in the discussions...atleast at the start of the married life...
Slowly the trust is gained and they are included...what I told was at the start... slowly equation changes and the wife would not have anymore insecurity so willnot mind also...and she will be involved in the discussions as well

She is desperate for Dev's attention, that's the only thing that matters her. Neha, her daughter is back home having issues with her husband, Ishwari care a damn about her. All she worry is how to create more misunderstandings between her son and DIL.

I dont think she is happy to see them together ! She was happy to see Dev sleeeping on the couch instead. Also, isn't it selfish of her to demand Dev's time when he is newly married ! I understand that she may have wanted to discuss Neha's issue with Dev but after barging on their door every one has completely forgotten about it. Even if she wants to feed Dev, why does not she want Sona around?

Ishwari needs to realize she is a mother and that position can never change no matter what she'll always remain a mother
mothers spending alone time with their sons is good but she seems to want to spend all Dev's free time just with her she got him married yet she fails to consider that once she too was newly wedded she disperses Sona as if she is a stranger and not Dev's wife
Ishwari seems to be on the road to jealousy trying to compete with Sona for Dev its unhealthy as a mother but she feels only she has full rights to Dev
