Yes Ritwick was a much better match than but since it's a show I m biased towards Devakshi and will always be 😛

I beg to differ...we only saw one side of ritvik and it was all positive...to say they came from the same culture and everything well be OK is also wrong...we have seen both the negative and positive side of dev...we have seen his flaws...ritvik always had a theory about everything but we never saw much of what he theorise... Yes he helped sona but like Natasha he was a bit to good to be true...for one he was unemployed and was ready to get married which I could not understand... He never tried to get a job...yes and every one will say dev stopped him...the only thing dev did was out bid him for a property to start a clinic but he never stopped him from getting a job...we still don't know how he would have handled the infertility we assume it would have been OK with him...and there is more...but we should not think the grass would have been greener with ritvik...

The day when Dev will be standing before Sonakshi as his fortress when her inability to conceive will be known to people, and they would be willing to hurl taunts and statements at her. He would not just be saving her from them, but also holding her close to his back. It will give you your answers.

Why I gave this analogy is that not only will he be protecting her from the harsh comments of the society, but also be keeping her with him no matter what the world says. He doesn't hold on to his reputation, izzat, and fake status when it comes to his loved ones. He wouldn't let her leave him and go, just because she can't conceive.
He may even stand against his family if they ever ever thought of making her leave Dev's life. Pregnancy of his wife doesn't defines his love for her. And he cares two hoots about what the people think.

Now coming to an incident from both Ritwick and Kushal Roy's case.

When the newspaper printed Sona's affair with Dev Dixit, Ritwick's father took not much time to break the alliance, because their reputation and izzat is all they have... Ritwick though supported Sona, but couldn't convince his dad, until the apology came the next day.
The ones who couldn't handle their izzat with one fake article, and thought all about what will people think, do you think they would have taken it low knowing that their bahu is "defective"(I am sorry for such a crude word, I do never consider it so, it's just how people talk it insensitively) Their only son's family would not grow... What a shame... What will people think?

Now let's talk about Kushal Roy, man, I so appreciate this guy...😕
A guy who gets miffed because her boss is calling her so many times. He must be her boyfriend.
After clarification, when the same boss comes for a talk, letting him know how she is, he confirms that they indeed have an affair. And he completely breaks the alliance.
Man, someone tell me this, the one who doesn't even have basic trust on her, would have supported her during her infertility?

For Ritwick and Kushal, both had a list of choices and options of girls who could marry them, but did Dev have any other choice? It was Sonakshi and she only.
Even if Ritwick was a great choice for Sonakshi, did it insure his support throughout? Did it assure Sonakshi's love for him one day?

When Dev has got the love of his life after such a painful separation, he better secure her in his life and treasure her. This time it will not be that easy to say - Tum jaao Sonakshi, hum dono ko alag ho jaana chaahiye.
Coz he has rightfully married her this time, she is his wife, and he had accepted her medical conditions before he had tied the knot. This time there's no scope for him to leave her in the dark roads of life. Coz had it been medically possible, it would have been THEIR baby. If it is not possible, the one they are missing is again THEIR baby. It cannot have Sonakshi alone in that... He will support her. There is no other option.

Now also do you think that it would have been better had Sonakshi married Ritwick or Kushal Roy?
