I know right? because if she should depend on anything, it should be Dev's support. Ishwari may have secured the money for herself and kids , but Dev will not be very grateful of it..

Very valid points. Many of us have faced something or the other like this in our newly wedded avatars.

This however is a show, TV... they are sending a very strong message out. Appealing to MILs like Ishwari. Showing us bahus how much stronger we got to be sometimes. And Dev. He hasn't changed or learnt much from separation. Lesson for husbands and sons. He is so scared of losing his wife. Can't even think straight.

Also a lesson for everyone on how to deal with needy immediate and extended family.

Your post points out all the things makers want us to note in the post wedding track

That's so true. Sonakshi is actually quite naive and needs to be advised to step back. In her house, her mom is so close to her MIL, Dadi lets Asha run the house with her suggestions. People who are comfortable in their skin can afford that generosity.

Ishwari didn't really accept Sonakshi. She's just gonna creep around giving guilt trips to Dev for being remiss. She knows Sonakshi can perceive her actions accurately which makes it more dangerous.

Great advice for Sona..I guess she wud follow them, atleast some of them, once she understands the Dixit family and their ways n it takes time. It wud nt happen in 3-4 days time.

First thing first she shud discuss with Dev on how to manage each family member...its his family, he shud also be making efforts to make Sona comfortable in his house. If interfering in kitchen or housework is a big No No..then she shud let Ish handle everything n next time GKB taunts her abt it...she shud reply back saying she wanted to help but Ish prefers to do it on her own.

Many might not like this suggestion, but Sona shud tell Dev how Gkb n Ish taunts her..she doesn't have to sound like a complaint box but she shud tell Dev in a way that he cud help her deal with it. Dev shud know what happens when he is in office. If she doesn't tell Dev, he wud nvr understand it on his own. She doesn't have to go through it all alone. Coz this wud increase her resentment n it wud lead to more fights with Dev.

N yes going back to office, will give u some time of peace. Atleast 8hrs a day u wud b away from taunts...n when Dev is in the house, Ish n GKB wud b more careful.

Yes newlyweds usually go away for a holiday, but sometimes visiting family delays them. Right now it may look like a family trip soon..🤢 (Id rather not go then)

Sona shouldn't have to weigh in on every issue with an opinion. Also Dev is not making it very fun for her also. Being together in bed is not the only things married couples do, Dev..😆.. They can go for movies, long drives, walks etc.😉

thanks.. actually this is a generic list. There are additions if your MIL requires you to cook and do housework also. Sona should be happy that Ishwari wants to reign in the house...😆
