Ishwari will always manipulate Dev but Sona is wise and she is slowly going to realize Ishwari plays nice in front of Dev while in his absence she turns to her true nature , it won't be long before Dev too realizes his mother's manipulation

He has too...but when I see Ishwari what reminds me is the quote " There is perhaps nothing more dangerous than a bad person with good people skills".

She is too good with her people skills. She is the most venomous of the lot . Even the near and dear will never know her intention until they are on the opposite side. When she is working her way to achieve her goal , she will never allow the world to see or feel that she is manipulative. But how long ?? One day its going to collapse..

Brilliant dear!!!

That scene was very disturbing. Your reference to MB is so apt. DD in his gamant stayed at the head of Lord Krishna and Arjun humbly sat at his feet. No matter that DD came first it was Arjun whom Krishna saw first and asked what he wanted.😆 It was their choice at that moment that decided the outcome of the Kurukshetra war.

Now the scene in question: a wonderful play of power game. Ishwari, clouded by her need to show Sona her place in their life allowed GKB to manipulate her when already she knows her malice and greedy intention. She considers GKB her family and Sona an outsider. Sona had always been family more than GKB could ever be. Sona understood her intent and was uncomfortable by the scene where her husband was oblivious to her discomfort when he was playing the 8 year old Ishwari's son. Agree that Sona allowed the entry of her MIL into their personal space but Dev is no better when it comes to his equation with his mother.

GKB's stance reminded me of the story of the fox and the goat, where the fox manipulated the two good friends into displaying their power. The fox got himself getting killed in the end when his greediness got the better of him. But the friends lost too much blood and energy until they opened their eyes.

Ishwari went behind Dev's back to make him sign the prenup to secure their wealth for her daughters from Sona. But if she doesn't open her eyes soon enough, the day is not far for them to be dependent on Sona's salary for their livelihood.

That whole scene was a bit off. However, I am willing to give it a second thought. Ishwari didnt expect Dev to think its Sona who is touching his forehead. I find it odd that Dev didnt realise it was his mother's hand. Never mind - love sick puppy face desperate Dev didnt figure that out.

Of course there is a tiff between Ish and Sona now. This scene was paving way for future episodes. Thats all

True , that is why I wrote abt the body language..in most cases when son realises its not his wife and he had spoken something that should not have been told to mom , they would just get up and sit..Dev was surprised but what he did next was sleep on her lap... Also when Ishwari touched his forehead and when she realised it was not meant to her , she could have said its not Sona but instead she decides to call his name and continue as if nothing happened... ...and again what surprised me is he seemed ok for her to keep touching on his forehead...there is absolutely nothing wrong in it...most mothers do that ...but how many sons will tolerate it ...very few... as they grow they like to maintain that physical distance and touching their hair most of them get irritated...😆... ofcourse exceptions are there...could be that these two were together thru the tough times and their rapport is at a diff emotional level...but I found it very amusing 😆

@ BOLD ...I was thinking the same. There was one scene initially shown in which Vicky was learning to put Dev's Signature ...this scene was around that watch missing scene.. so now that Vicky is at his office, access to documents will be more and Dev has the habit of not reading before signing the documents...so he might get cheated as well...let us hope for the best!!

It was mamaji's signature that he tried to learn, after he deposited the cheque Dev gave, in the Bank in a joint account, of both Vicky and Mamaji. Sorry, watched it too many times😆

Actually you are not alone. I was disturbed by that scene immensely. I had no words to describe it.

Married boys sleep on their mothers lap, its not uncommon. But what bothered me, was Ishwari's attitude in that scene. She nicely caressed him, emotional blackmailed him saying that you have responsibilities towards your family too, ( Implying Dev is forgetting his family post marriage ) and then dropped the bomb.(Vicky Job)

It looked like a Mom is trying to prove to the new DIL, he may be married,but I still hold the control of my SON.

So not done CVS, I dont know what you wanted to convey, but the message it gave was all wrong.
