Disturbing thought.......

Disturbing Scene...

The scene in which Ishwari comes and sits next to her son's head and sona near his feet ...I found that whole scene very disturbing. The more I think about it ,I feel the war is soon going to start.

Its ok for son to keep his head on his mom's lap..but the body language and dialogues betwn the two is paving way for a "war". Ishwari ignoring Sona's presence , but acknowledging GKB and asking her to be a part of the convo was to instigate Sona and challenge her . She wanted to clearly state that no matter who walks into her son's life she will be the most imp person for him. Sona is no less J she accepted the challenge by sitting at his feet , proving it to her no matter what... she happens to be his wife and her place is rt next to him...never mind even if it is at his feet.

While mom pampered the son , Dev also didn't acknowledge his wife's presence making Sona unhappy and sad . She felt totally not needed even by the man on whom she showered all her affection. Soon conversation changed from pampering to duties /responsibilities of a son. The moment she dropped the bomb of giving Vicky a job at his office brought him back to senses... Vicky is not a character that Dev likes but his mom's final statement rather decision that Vicky "WILL" work at his office made him thoughtful. He is looking for support to do the righteous act and he sees his trusted friend at his feet looking at him acknowledging and understanding his thoughts...

Here both mother and wife came to Dev with their own specific needs...mom for her materialistic requirements ...I would say to prove a point to her competitor which is Sona. That she has complete control on everything that belongs to Dev. Sona for her emotional requirements from Dev , all she needs is nothing but him and his love. And she is willing to give him that love and support too...What Sona wanted from Dev righteously belongs to her alone. She is his wife and he has to provide support that she is asking for.

Now, does this remind you of a scene from Mahabarath ?? Prior to war Dhoriyodhan and Arjun coming to Krishna for support and help with their own set of requirements...?? In Mahabarath Arjun got Krishan as his Sarathy ( ParthaSarathy ) and Dhuriyodhan got the entire army that belonged to Krishna..

Just wondering ,will Dev be Sarathy for Ishwari or for Sona ??

What do you think friends?? Ready for another WAR ??

PS : I think we should make a score card for Sona and Ishwari. Every episode when one wins over the other we will add 1 point...so that we know who is at advantage...😆

a very thought provoking post ...u know the moment i read the intial lines i was reminded about that incident from Mahabharat ..victory obviously will be sona's ..she is yet to make use of the sam dam dand bhed which ishwari is clearly using in her manipulations ..very soona sona will realise her mil's true colors nd then a war will start in true sense ..bring it on cv's ...we will watch with anticipation

Nice thought but over here I think Sona is slowly understanding everything.I don't think Sona and Ishwari will ever fight but it will be interesting to watch how she handles Ishwari after knowing about her insecurities 😆.

Duryodhana, the eldest of the Kauravas came, walked into the room and saw Krishna was sleeping. He sat down, wanting to wait. Krishna was just sleeping with a gentle smile on his face. His feet were pointed towards Duryodhana. Duryodhana looked at it and he didn't like it. "He is not even a king; he is a cowherd. I am a great emperor. Why am I sitting at his feet?" So slowly he got up and came and sat close to his head.

Then Arjuna came, a devotee of Krishna, and sat where Duryodhana had sat earlier. Krishna's feet were pointing at him, he sees that as a blessing. So he sat there.

Krishna opened his eyes after sometime, and said, "Oh, Arjuna you have come." Arjuna said, "Yes Bhagwan, I have come." Before they could talk further Duryodhana cleared his throat to make his presence felt. Krishna said, "Oh Duryodhana, even you? Both of you at the same time - what brings both of you here?" He knows the whole act.

Then both of them said that they have come to ask for his help in the war. Krishna said, "Both of you have come and both of you are asking for the same thing, so let me put it this way. One of you can have my army, another can have me. But I won't fight, I'll just come with you. Because my vision fell upon Arjuna first, he gets the first choice."

Duryodhana protested, "I came here first!" Krishna said, "But what can I do? I saw him first."

Hopefully, this happens in our story as well... eventually...

The points which I sgree here are

yes Ishwari ignored Sona and did what is expected from her..her reaction didnt surprise me ..she at every ocassion tries to show her rights on dev (remember promo) this was one of it how she ordered him to keep vickey in company

And Dev didnt ignore Sona he was casually talking and she too just like that came to her room..she didnt feel hurt or anything becoz of him according to my point of view..I not even for a moment felt so

the upsetting part for me is Ishwari manipulating Dev and that too so confidently in front of Sona shoeing he is her puppet which Probably wasnt liked by Sona and it showed on her face but the best part here was Imstead of saying quick yes he looked up to Sona coz he knows she can advise him best

nahi this sona on feet nd ishwari on head ye sab kuch mat socho..dont worry and dissect it zyada ..chill..😉

talking about mahbhrat nd all well I am not able to relate it to that

though it will be interesting to see whoes side Dev will take ..nd being a human his emotions will drive him so cant really say how he will fight with this particular situation once everything will be out in open

Also i forgot ishwari coming with her needs , her needs are basically controlling Dev's life in every possible way ..and right like you said what Sona demands is love nd affection nd Dev will provide it, this time he wont compromise on it I feel so atleast

You know I pointed out this in another post of mine, but Dev's eyes were closed when Sona entered the room - so he didn't see her to acknowledge her presence. Obviously, his mother and maami are jealous of Sona and they didn't recognize her presence - that definitely made Sona feel like an outsider in her own room and that explained her unhappy face. Also they came with an agenda - to get a favor for Vicky from Dev, in his wife's absence.

Dev values Sona, a lot.. he has always cared for her opinion and will continue to do so. The bigger question will be when and how will Dev be able to see his Mom's true colors. Pre-nup is definitely one, but I hope the CVs showcase Dev as a person with strong EQ and instinct to be able to figure out the smaller aspects of their behaviour towards Sona.
That will be a real progressive step towards how Dev's evolving personality after marriage.

But I think it is high tme, they come up with track where Sona gets involved other issues as she is now family member... Neha's issue specifically... it will be beautiful track to show positive bonding between Neha and Sona... and some confrontation (situations,relations) between Neha, Sona and Ishwari can help Ishwari self realize that her daughter is someone's DIL...

Instead of making it OTT drama, it can be made subtle
