I read this forum regularly. I am a BIG fan of both the lead actors's chemistry.. and I read how everyone thinks this show is close to Reality.. however the post marriage story has been anything but close to reality. In this day and age which married couple takes so long not to consummate their marriage?? Which couple - especially one with Dev's financial stature not go out for atleast a 2 day break away from the family to be alone? This is not reality- this is just the serial succumbing to TRP pressures to show drama and lot of BS!! It's been 3 days to the wedding and sona hasn't visited her parents nor has she bothered to call them and talk to them!!??? Who does that??

I agree to what someone said on this discussion- dev is such a smart guy and therefore so successful- yet he has been shown as a dumbass when it comes to his relationship with his mum??? He can't tell his mum that he wants to spend time with his newly wedded wife and that they need some private time together!!

This is one of the most loved serial for me- I love shaheed sheikh from his Mahabharata days- I really really love him.. but I am saddened when I see him doing this useless character who has no spine !!

I agree on some parts but if Dev was really that smart then the serial would never be there in the first place he is spineless but he is slowly improving about honeymoon the rituals are never ending how will he go when he tries to do something special his mother sends him away by some manipulation now he reacts to the Navratri issue is still to be seen its a serial so of course there will be drama let's see what the future holds for us 😊

Well I will talk about me only - am still liking the story and so far I don't have any major problems.

Secondly one thing I have observed mostly in this forum - ppl who had watched Shaheer previous shows they are comparing with dev . I means dev is not anant nor arjun from Mahabharat.

am sure Anant and Arjuna must be very good characters but no need to find those characters inside DEV character .

P.s no intention to hurt anyone feeling .

Started the journey on day 1. Agree that it has its ups and downs. But the team is not required to show the story according to my wish. It is their story to tell. I will watch as long as I can relate to it and enjoy their light moments. So the choice is always yours. Good luck.😃

exactly dear..I was a big fan of shaheer during navya days..one of the reason i started watching this serial was shaheer..the shaheer whom we saw in navya was very different from krpkab..consider about his acting,he improved very much and reached beyond perfection..for me,now m loving dev than anant..

A meaning ful story , compellingly awesome chemistry , a tricky concept of multi cultural marriage, mother's obsession (though they mention it as insecurities of Ishwari it is turning out to be obsession) she is hell bent on treating Sona as a toy or chocolate that Dev liked and wanted so as a toy in showcase or in deva hand is Sona for her.
Her mind is not in terms with th face that Sona is a human being and she too has brains feelings and wants ...

She feels Sona should if she wishes Sona shd talk to Dev if she wishes but here the duo are trying to build room for themselves as it's their life now and they need to back Ishwari as support system,,, but ishwaris obsession is not allowing it to handle the reality... she goes on doing cunning stuff to porve her dominance on her sons life ...

This is going a bit over the board to handle but that fine yar come on it's far far far classy than BT shows which rip the relations off with idiocacy n

I hate such dominance of mother's in their kids lives . But yes these kinds of ladies do exist in reality My own mother in law... to share for he matter of fact ...
but again it's just a fiction dear but yes when it gets suffocating to watch the cunningness and manipulative traits of Ishwari to gets to nerves ... but in real lives being girls we all face music one time or the other Chalta yaar...

And yes for the one who said get lost to the topic maker - Language my dear... I think we have right to express our impressions here on the series we watch.., there is nothing to get that personal where you can hurt others as though they insulted you in person...

And yes to add to my boring views on top the show is really good and it's refreshing but yes ups n downs are there too ...but the chemistry is too cute to watch and am not a sweet sixteen aged to drool over meaning romance lolol

I will continue with the show. Because if you wanna watch fiction then this drama is best because in all other hindi serials running continuously for 5 to 6 years, what they show I have seen. Lots of marriages of leads, saas poisoning bahu foods and all.
