Weddings are like this. Mostly for the family and the people around the couple. Rituals and customs are for the couple to be accepted with respect by the society they live in.

it's a huge discomfort and inconvenience. Feels useless and pointless. but its the society one grew up in. And family is full of all sorts of characters, good and bad.

in perspective, Dev and Sona are fine. Yeah Dadi Bua is not impressed, but then again the one she pulls along on a leash isn't as impressive either (who was missing at the Pooja at 5 am btw!) . And Ishwari can't make Sona instantly impressive so , Boo Hoo.. Big deal!

If they wanted the pooja to go well, they would have walked her through the procedure, the do-s and Don't s .. so it's not about pooja and getting God's blessings, but to create trouble for Sona.

Sona will have her chance to be a useful member of her new family soon enough. This is all petty , and she will be fine.

Sorry for the rant. suddenly had a thought about how petty and silly these non issues have been hyped up for drama.

Abstinence?

Please Ishwari, dont bother trying. The way he looks at her, he'll find creative ways to make time to be with her soon enough..😉

Sona should not compete in the ideal bahu competition let Ishwari be that but I guess Sona will come around and find her own place in the house 😊 By actually fixing the crooked Dixits.And how long is Ishwari going to control Dev 😆 beta bada hogaya hai 😆

True.. Very very petty... And it's all because they follow it one after the other, being troubled by someone or the other in their family tree, without letting them understand the essence behind it all... Uff... No bother...

Ishu will anyway not introduce any of these to Sona anymore... She has her own reasons for not wanting Sona be part of all this... It's all hers and only hers... The new entry woman has spoilt it all by introducing them to Sona... But little did she know that Ishu brought Sona for some other purpose and not for taking care of HER house... 😆

But but but... will it be as easy as well?! Ishu wasn't happy about Sona being invited to the tulsi pooja (read it as Ishu's territory)... And when she found that Sona is engaged herself busy with Dev (another important territory of Ishu), sharing tulsi pooja arena sounded better to her... She immediately looked for ways to get Sona be part of it... Ishu should better share her territories and their priority list to Sona... Poor girl, doesn't know what's hitting her in the form of Ishu... 😆

exactly! it wasn't a competition, it was a mean well calculated ruse to further put down a woman, to show her the pecking order. My late grandmother was a dragon of a MIL and I watched my mom and my aunts and their struggles as I grew. Nasty politics i tell you. Just to teach a lesson, she would create obstacles. 😲

Sona should just do the best she can, stay respectful and it'll go away.. How Ishwari handled an in law like this, I dunno.

Poor Saurabh though, wonder where that's going..

I think Ishwari would be a cooler MIL than Dadi Bua. As long as she still gets to cook for Dev and he takes her out shopping sometimes.

I dunno what to say about that scene outside Dev's bedroom. What did she think Dev would do with Sona at night? Sleep? 😆

Maybe she thought , "Poor Sona might not be able to wake up at 5 with Dev there..." 🤣

True that... Ishu will let Sona chill out as long as Sona doesn't interfere in the food habits of her kids... 😆 Ishu might also cook hefty meals for Sona herself... All she wants is to run the house in her own way with no interference... But Sona darling has her ways of doing things too... She would like to replicate her own home situation in the Dixits' as well... Like giving rest to the elder and taking the remote control in her hands, like Asha... 😉 But not sure how Asha-Dadi reached this understanding level... Sona should talk to her mom everyday and take her tips... 😉

But Sona has lot more creatures sitting in the Dixits' than in her own house... And she needs different type of remote control... Universal remote doesn't work here... 🤪
