I think it's different case with neha. she asked him for luxury life and he did it for his sister happiness. I think he feels it's his responsibility to make neha happy. but ya he should choose gifts carefully

I think gift mehanga, sastha dekhna nahi chahiye. gift dhene wale pyar dekhna chahiye. why people will be feel insulted if someone give expensive gift ya cheap gift. if they gift genuinely and with love then I don't think we should refuse it saying its cheap gift ya expensive gift. let see how they will resolve this issue.

The bottom line is both Bose family and Ranveer are self-made family/people. They don't like people giving them free stuff unlike GKB and her good for nothing son who wants everything for free. Dev gifted because he had seen Dada wait for taxi before, so he was just trying to help all in good sense, same way he tried for ranveer. But he just have to realise not everybody is money minded. Unfortunately he has a very bad living example right inside his house "GKB n son". He will learn slowly. And now he has his lovely wifey Sona to teach him everything "private lessons" bhi milega with/without demand, just for anything and everything 😉 😆
