Exactly, don't treat your mother like God who can't do no wrong and don't treat your wife like a mindless doll who has to tolerate all wrong. Treat human being like human being with their proper respect and he won't be sandwiched, ever.

If your wife is rude to your family, make sure she knows that you won't accept that behaviour. But if your family is rude to your wife, make sure of the same. If you make your family understand that however they behave with your wife, they are doing to you, they would never treat her wrong.

Dev is such a disappointment.. He hasn't learnt anything from his disastrous breakup. Sona reacted a lot, could have been softer but to be honest, with Dev's oblivion and remarks on his mother's insult and fish fiasco, he totally deserved all the bashing from her.

I don't understand why men feel 'sandwiched' between their mothers and wives. Just be sensible, fair and differentiate between what is right or wrong or what is acceptable or unacceptable. In today's age and times, women don't want husbands to side with them, just man up to what you signed up for in a marriage. We don't want saviours, just treat us equal - that's more than redemption if Dev could manage that! Phew.

This is the limit,but why couldnt this couple go to hotel,why in the house,and so many women,shadi wale ghar me kuch nashta bhi nahi and ishwari is that weak ,she got sick by just cooking,well shes one mean mother ,agree with every word dear ,

the girl is too respectful hence inspite of everything done to her she still holds nothing against the people in that house...especially GKB ir even ishwari or even dev...i am not going to get into the blame game of who is right or wrong ...but he needs to understand sona is her vulnerable most with him and the fear of being dumped again constantly stays in her mind...it is not easy to let go of that betrayal...she is trying ,he does not need to take a sword to defend her but atleast be there to hold her hand and let the world know you are with her always and only then would the likes of GKB never have the audacity to belittle her atleast not on your face...

someone needs to ask them ...can they imagine if neha had to face this..would the mother,brother sit quietly??

Dev will never leave his darling mummy who has to cook the entire food even though the servent was standing there ready to help with preparation. And not just a quick and easy Khichdi either. It has to be a four course meal. If she can't show off her self-sacrificing self by deliberately getting sick, how would she get sympathy votes from her son?

Dev family has no respect for sona nor her family,so much issue with food too,we are always right kind of mentality,felt bad for her and her family

I have not read the posts in question but it is really disturbing if females are writing such comments. Are physical relations or the license to have sex the only definition of marriage. So a woman becomes a bad wife if she denies her husband?

In the saptapadi the husband also promises to take care of her and respect her. He is allowed to conveniently forget his promises but the woman should always fulfil hers.

A woman invests a lot of emotions in the act. It's just not a physical activity for her. How can a woman who is hurt, humiliated and insulted go through it. The very idea is unthinkable.

I once read in a novel, a woman's mother tells her just look at the roof all the time and think about the jewels you can get out of him for this.

So Sonakshi also can look at the roof and plan all the favours she can extract out of Dev in exchange, right? 🤢

if the new TC article is to be believed she did it on purpose to avoid any intimacy between dev sona...wonder if she is going to faint every night from now on and also on weekends 😆

Honestly Amina, I never expected them to treat the Bose family as if they are royalty. But basic manners and politeness was not unreasonable to expect at least in the front, if not in private.

But Sona is now Dev's wife and the daughter-in-law of the family. How could they not treat her with respect on the first day of her new life? It's mind boggling to me to see a girl humiliated over and over on the first day of her married life is considered normal behaviour.
