As much as we would have loved to see some romance, even of the lollipop variety, it was back to reality for both the viewers(not that the CVs allowed us to forget it with all the drama during wedding) as well as Sonakshi.
Ishwari- The facade she had managed to maintain throughout the wedding has already started slipping in front of Sonakshi. Dev would as usual remain oblivious to this because he has never been able to see the truth where his mother is concerned.She will again let GKB and Bua insult Sonakshi and stand as a an innocent lamb when she is far from one.
Dev- No, Dev blaming your wife's family without them being at fault is NOT the way to convince your wife when she raises very valid questions.No you didn't do anything great by not speaking up about fish tray drama because Elena and Saurab were not really at fault.No ,you were not great because you let your mother be insulted because she got back what she deserved for insulting Sona and her family.Also, you were the one who allowed her to go and get insulted time and again instead of trying to win back Sona yourself.
Dev is blind as usual to his mother's reality.He once again fails to see the truth that is right in front of his eyes.Even after hearing GKB and Bua insulting Sona, he still states that his family loves Sona and has accepted her whole heartedly.And Dev.when your newly wedded wife is insulted and harsh words thrown at her, you do not stay mute.Your assurances of taking care of Sona inside the four walls of your bedroom is null and void if you can't speak for her when it is needed. Haven't you learned from your past mistakes? This was the time you could have proven that you actually meant that sorry you wrote during proposal.This was the time you could have proved that your actions will speak for you this time. But Sona forgave you too easily and you didn't really learn, did you?
Sonakshi- Time to open your eyes.Dev hasn't changed and neither has Ishwari.You were just too blind in love to notice it.Every word spoken by Ishwari,Radha and Bua were absorbed and understood by Sonakshi today. She has not been accepted into the family.She is merely an object that Ishwari decided to gift Dev due to his stubbornness.Her questions and concerns were valid but Dev didn't understand them.She was right in demanding space from him today.
Sonakshi ,you decided to enter into this hell all by yourself. You had started to understand this complex woman named Ishwari, started to see her true colors but the love tinted rosy glasses that you had put on made you blind to her reality. Unfortunately this is just the beginning of hurdles and difficulties for you. Be prepared. Be strong. It's not gonna be easy but then darling you made the bed, now you've gotta lie in it.
I won't even start with how rude Radha and Bua behaved with Sona today. They never once considered how inconsiderate they were being to a girl who had left her family.They never felt it was necessary to make her feel at home.No, they continue to hurt her with their taunts and comments.The precap was another glimpse to how the insults are not going to stop any time soon.
Sona, you better be ready to fight for yourself without expecting anything from Dev because he is not growing up anytime soon.
