Hey Rose

Couldnt resist your post even though I wanted to stay away. Here are my questions based on these lines

Sona, you better be ready to fight for yourself without expecting anything from Dev because he is not growing up anytime soon.

What does this fighting really entail? Does she fight to stay in this relationship? Is it because she is in Love ? Dev claims to Love her? . How much time does she need to fight alone? One day, a month, year , 10 years?
Is just Love only enough?. What about Respect? Can there be Love without Respect?
Where is Dev's respect? What about her own self respect?

I am reminded of a old movie called I think 'Talaak... Where the heroine walks out with her head held high to this day remains my favorite

People can call me feminist or maybe some people Anti Dev but the way I see it sometimes you have to cut your losses. In this case Sona made a bad judgement call and it is about time she made her decision with her Head..( Isnt that one of the premise of the show?) I know they will probably not show this because these creatives claim they are showing 'REALITY' their convoluted kind where she is all suffering because after all the Great Dev has fallen in Love with her and how in the end she reforms Easwari, Dev and everyone is happy happy

'REALITY my friend though bitter or heartbreaking is having the GUTS to walk out with head held high! Believe you me NO love is worth it when there is no Respect..

Leaving with one of my Favorite Kenny Rogers Song the Gambler
'If you're gonna play the game, boy( Girl).. I added the girl part..lol
You gotta learn to play it right
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em

Know when to walk away, know when to run.
You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table,
There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done

Peace Out!

Oh it is high time Dev quits playing the bechara card. Seriously!! On one hand you claim to love Sona the most and the next minute you are telling Mommy dearest you love her the most. How fickle can you get. I would take Dev Sona fights over gullible Sona falling for his cheesy dialogues.
Why do I have a feeling that the CVs will use the Prenup angle to have Dev realize Mata's dubiousness. Or is it wishful thinking and expecting too much?

Agree,in fact I had just posted a reply to another's post which would have been more apt to have been posted here instead.
I agree to most of your points...

Gemini🤗I am glad you decided to share your view.

Sona, you better be ready to fight for yourself without expecting anything from Dev because he is not growing up anytime soon.

What does this fighting really entail?
Speaking up for herself. Not silently tolerating the taunts and insults from anybody.
Does she fight to stay in this relationship? Is it because she is in Love ? Dev claims to Love her?
We already know she becomes weak when it comes to Dev but No she should not have to fight alone for this relationship. Will she have to?Yes because the story won't progress without that now.
How much time does she need to fight alone? One day, a month, year , 10 years?
Can't define that really( definitely not long), but if Dev fails to understand and refuses to grow up despite her attempts to make him see his mother's truth(because let's face it, he can't see it without somebody showing him or the pre-nup will work in that matter)then Sona needs to leave Dev for good.

Is just Love only enough?. What about Respect? Can there be Love without Respect?
No, love is not enough.I am of the opinion that there can be respect without love but there cannot be love without respect.Sona forgot in a moment of weakness that Dev is not giving her the respect she deserves when he lets his family get away with insulting her every time.

Where is Dev's respect? What about her own self respect?
Dev still hasn't understood the true meaning of love and respect.Sona understands about her self respect but she forgot about about it when she decided to forgive Dev without any effort on his part. Now she'll realise what a big mistake that was. She'll stand up for it herself now.She won't (hopefully) let it go easily now onward.

I am reminded of a old movie called I think 'Talaak... Where the heroine walks out with her head held high to this day remains my favorite

As much as I would love to see Sona walking away with her head held high(Feminist hi five😉),that is not what the Cvs will show. So,I don't want to see the cliched good girl reforming her evil MIL. I wanna see Dev Sona handling it as a unit.

'REALITY my friend though bitter or heartbreaking is having the GUTS to walk out with head held high! Believe you me NO love is worth it when there is no Respect..
True that!

Even I feel pre-nup will have a major role in making Dev see Ishwari's intentions.

You spoke the truth my dear 😊 Today's episode was a fresh start of Dev and Ishwari's ethereal love-story which I was missing since last 2/3 episodes

Dev can't live without Ishwari.
Ishwari's will do everything to live with Dev.
Sona

Today she just got a glimpse of the eternal love-story of DevIshwari She saw the trailer earlier when Dev broke up with her but thought she entered wrong movie theatre Now she is gonna face her own actions 🥳 Today she was looking AS clueless as I was when she decided to go ahead with this marriage without having Dev's redemption and I am happy to see that

This is what happens when we get ourselves into a child-marriage without properly validating the maturity of the guy and his equations with his family members 😎

You are absolutely right. Sona needs to make sure that Dev knows that the fact that Sona is willing to give up her very liberal and independent life to live with his ultra conservative family is because his mother and him convinced her that she will get the respect, the honour she deserves. But nothing can stop her from refusing to live in a house where she is insulted and disrespected.

So it's Dev's job to make the environment of his home livable for Sona if he wants to live with both his family and his wife. Otherwise, he has to start fulfilling the promises he made to always keep her happy and buy a separate house by his old home where he can take care of his mother but his wife doesn't have to be under the same roof as his mother and won't have to deal with insults.

This is too good 😆

It is actually a child marriage😆.

Dev baby is incapable of going against mummy but he couldn't eve ask his two shitty relatives to shut up. 🤢

I remembered my ex yesterday . His great words I will quote here: you are a part of me. See my life's only aim is to keep my mom and sister happy and give them everything they want and since you and I are one therefore I expect you to join with me in this. Together we will do this. 😆

Good post rose
Men won't understand specially wife's feeling easily. He won't even understand what is acceptance from mother. Also, man from such conservative family will have less feeling towards female, coz such family give only importance to male.

Now sona has really tuff time in making him understand her feeling. Now she should act smart keeping patience. Breaking is easy, but live in that relationship is tuff. She need to pull up her socks to keep Dev in her confidence. All the best sona😆
