The way he said Pyar ne jhukaya
The way she threw the flowers in the air n them landing on his face or head
The way she sat on his one leg n said yes
The way both fell as they could not hold or believe what just happened after all what they went thru
N trying to smile yet tears

That was enough my dear... In every way to connect - no other magic except the magic of love worked !

What I like about this show is- it break chords of stereotype OTT n yes I can see the damage this industry has brought to all our minds - a lot of expectation n fantasies/ wherein reality is so much different

I disagree. Lack of magic and passion is the point that bothered me yesterday. The proposal is stereotyped. The show did not break the stereotype treatment,it follows it hopelessly. With the execution of one of the most important Episodes yesterday the makers proved they are not into reality, effectiveness and uniqueness. TM had rightfully put it. It was tacky, emotionless passionless and disconnected.

There was a huge disconnect, everything seemed forced.

When I visited the forum everyone was going gaga over the proposal and I was wondering if there is something wrong with me. Thanks Lord some people agree with me

I am not sure abt others , but I do agree with you ...there was a huge disconnect . The flow of events were pushed across more like what we get to see when there is a leap .

For m it was well written and well executed...both have spoken once in office how breakup s affecting them, both have cried in each other's arms saying how hard it s to move on despite trying hard...Dev was held by his mom s not acceptance and now sona by her father's self respect.when both barriers have fallen apart they both rushed to each other..they don't need to reassure their love for each other by saying I love u or I miss u raining kisses or doing Ashiqui 2 pose..they see each other ...that beaming smile from sona and dialated pupils of dev did all d exchange..and the proposal ..it was not to make her feel special but it was his assurance that he values their relationship s second chance...that sorry notes and going on knees tells dev has redeemed for his hasty breakup..as asha said he did by breaking up was how a normal man does who values his family ( that starts and ends with maa) first..see I m not guaranteeing they both ll never fight..they ll fight , they ll still separate but they can never b away from each other.. period. so this story s so far real with real emotions and right amount of passion..And actors are par excellent...no second thoughts .even Vicky acts well

Exactly my point ..
Me glad there are a handfew atleast who understands realistic wishes

Dev n Sona were just hiding away from each other that they moved on. But mutual Breakup time n the ME night they already opened up their hearts in the most vulnerable way.. Raw n real..
Today Dev can't believe his love worked a way n gave him a second chance n he didn't wanna let go of thT.. As he said she looks good in every way except going away from him..

So the proposal made full sense to me...
There was no rush..
I loved how asha Ma n thru her Bejoy gave that space to the couple. Yes before redemption track .. They need to stand together n this is the first step.

Together they will break the walls of insecurity ..they may fall but the other one will catch

@BOLD
His proposal was supposed to be something of importance...but I didnt feel it that way..In fact I loved his confession ...its not abt grandeur its about what touches your heart and make you feel ecstatic 😳

I am not even going to write on the topic of "lack of passion"😆 I have written enough and I have lost hope of seeing that among these two..

But yeah must accept they make a lovely pair...I wish the makers could do more justice to the show..when they have such fine actors like Shaheer and Erica..

What according to you is magic n passion ?
Would u try to explain that better so that I can connect to ur statement ?

Dev did it that way.. As Sona is like most of us .. Who believes this is how a proposal - it's stereotyped.. N full of fantasy
But Dev did it his way .. N not keeping aside their emotional state ...
There is time for passion ...
Special day n moment is when I make mistake - I want to let the person know That am aware I hurt u a lot - I donno how to make it up - but u mean the world to me
All of this Sona understood from Dev

I really donno what exactly TM or supporters of the thought expects

I had very high expectation from the show i guess. In the beginning i have forget that it is Daily soap. where logic, Common sense, practicality doesn't exist.

Regarding Actors. it looks like Shaheer is bored with the show. neither he pay attention to his looks nor he looks excited about his role.

Highly Disappointed.

I am with you!

Saurabh's phonecall to Dev telling him to take away his Paro, Dev turning up like Superman and then the lead up to the proposal was rushed and unrealistic. In fact, I was left confused as to whether this was someone imagining something. Asha's conversation with Sona was a wonderful way of presenting Dev's dilemma. I was pleasantly surprised to see her side with him. The family values dialogues were penned nicely. Food for thought. However, no matter how nice it is to see Devakshi together, it still doesn't make up for the hurt the Bose family and Sona went through. Dev suffered too and ultimately, he has to realise sooner or later that his happiness lies in his hands and he needs to take control and man up.

Absolutely. Conversation betweem mother-daughter,husband-wife and father-daughter was great but some how the proposal looked like a stage show.

Did she ever ask him, hey, my parents got hurt by us. Let's make sure we meet them and you can ask forgiveness from my parents and officially ask for my hand.

I mean your mother already begged twice, but I am not marrying your mother. I am marrying you. At least do something by yourself. If Tina, your mother and I do everything, then how would my family know that you are worth getting married to? Drunken stalkers don't make good husband prospect na, even if they are cute and rich.

I have said this before. If you want respect for your family, you have to work for it. It's your responsibility to make sure your parents are not treated any less or any more than your partner's parents.

Marriage should bind two families who are equal. Not in status, but in respect and dignity.

You have a valid point there.
