Yes it was TACKY (never ever thought or used this word for KRPKAB and hopefully wouldnt need to in future). I thought KRPKAB is so above all this. Could not see any Passion or Romance bwteen the 2. Like a big piece of the Puzzle missing. Felt like a big DISCONNECT. Like as if, even the Main Leads had no clue why was the Proposal happening. May be Proposal could have been saved for after Dev's redemption Assuming the so called infertility track is to show Dev's redemption by standing up for Sona and supporting her in all situations. But then why all this on Sona...she is always at the recieving end in all these tracks or so called twists. But anyways lets not go there.

After Sona's baba agreed for the proposal, what was the rush to show Saurav calling Dev. It looked like Saurav is Dev's best buddy and all thru the break up was updating Dev on every move. It was so unrealistic. Would have loved to see Asha maa informing Ishwari abt Sona and her baba approving the proposal. And then probably Dev and Sona have a phone convo or meeting with a little bit of awkwardness initially. But then their emotions, feelings and passion for each other which was building up all through the break up phase would break that awkwardness into a passionate hug. May be a nice adult convo between the two after that hug would be so welcomed.

But again breaking all KRPKAB rules, Dev reaches Sona's house within a minute of Saurav calling him. And then follows it with a proposal at a total different location. The makers have always expected and have been successful in getting a clever audience to watching this show. But were they expecting us to keep our BRAIN aside today? I mean SERIOUSLY!!!

I feel your post is more dramatic than this whole saga - how will YOU redeem yourself with such harsh and non-objective feedback, if the CVs chance upon delivering well now?

Instead of jumping guns, think and act! (learn from Dev's blunder 😉)

Dev did it that way.. As Sona is like most of us .. Who believes this is how a proposal - it's stereotyped.. N full of fantasy
But Dev did it his way .. N not keeping aside their emotional state ...

So much was missing yesterday. God, it was jet speed episode. Asha and Bijoy being the most consistent and rest the most inconsistent. Sonakshi's siblings are so unpredictable. 😆 They just go with the flow. They can intensely bash Dev and then tease him almost simultaneously. 👏😆

Coming to the leads. The whole patch up looked fake. The way Sonakshi said yes totally nullified her outburst in her office. Dev was no where. It seemed Ishwari was more in love with Sonakshi.. 😆 The passion she had for her to become her daughter-in-law was more intense and steely than Dev😆

I don't know how people will here take this but I have always disliked that flying hug. I apologize but it looks funny actually. I would have rather wanted a long emotional hug, where none would want to let go of each other for zillion minutes.

Yesterday should not have been about lights and music (That was a traumatic violin piece 😆 ) and children with placards. I have personally found children and cards idea highly unromantic. It just doesn't click with me at least even though it is used in so many movies. It is all the more unbearable when it is done in real life proposal videos. 😆

I have seen few soft conversations of Dev with Sonakshi. His subtle voice, the longing eyes and slightly high breathing. I wanted that actually. I wanted him to apologize. I wanted him to talk. The way he did while gifting the saree to her. To top it with, that going down on one knee.. I don't know why people like it, that is the most mechanical stuff ever. It looks darn filmy. 😡

Oh apart from Asha and Bijoy, another consistent one is Vicky. I'd like to applaud Sonakshi for going to a family where a leech like him openly roams and has the audacity to talk creepily to every woman entering the house. 😛👏 But thik hai .. Kuch rang devar ke aise bhi .. 😆

I wanted them to connect emotionaly, Sona to communicate her resentment,angst and Dev to seek forgiveness,show regrets. That would have been enough. I did not anticipate proposal straight away. Hence it looked like a masala film to me
