So true. Well sketched character and really acted well.
Very strong and level headed woman. The first time I had tears in my eyes watching this show was when she got angry over Dev in the hospital post Sona's accident. What a natural actor..perfect in every scene.

I hope we get more mother daughter scenes and also Asha-Ish converasations instead of Bijoy

If Ishwari ji is like a guidebook on How a mother should not treat her children? then Asha Bose is like a perfect example of How a mother should treat her children?. Both are poles apart. As you truly said she is the unsung heroine of this show. There is a lot to learn from this character.

I really liked her from the initial episodes itself where she always used to cheer up Sourab when ever Bijoy makes fun of his worth and his business. I always felt Bijoy is like milder version of Ishwari. I think he didn't reach Ishwari's level just because of Asha & his sane family.😆

ya excellent post... u r crt
Asha Bose is a perfect example of mother how to treat their children according to their wish... I liked the way she asked during sona's engagement.

Thanks Latha😊

Very true, me too have loved those old episodes of how protective she is of Saurab and how her composure have kept Bijoy human😆

On the contrary we might not have given importance to Asha's practicality if not for Ishwari's possesiveness 😆

Asha and Dadi are really strong characters, despite being funny and chirpy, give you a sense of emotional strength. Sona gets her feistiness from Bijoy, honesty as well. But the emotional strength and maturity is all Asha Bose.

Thank you and agree to every word of yours! Hope the makers make her play more part in making Sona emotionally stronger through this messy breakup and patchup.!

I was first confused whether you were talking about Asha as this post was dedicated to her😆 But as you said Supriyaji is portraying Ishwari to perfection!!

When people who are not required to be vocal they are going on their top voice overriding their side of truth with their behavior.. In all this if she takes over the control in her own calm style and express her opinion being neutral at the same time voicing her concern in all this it would be great... 😃

😆 very true, suddenly Baba and Sona are fierce and Dev and Ishwari subtle and angelic😆 Looks like the only character who understood there is a middle ground is "Asha Bose"!

Great post ... I admire the way you write ...I don't think I have anything more to add ..you have said what I wanted to say in much better way.

I started admiring her character post accident scene ...for the first time we got to see what Asha Bose is .When everyone in the family were unable to react due to trauma she was the one who stood like a rock and supported her family .A person's stength is known during crisis .

Her relationship with her Mil is another highlight of the show and respect her for putting up with a idealistic person like Bijoy. She is truly a great example of strong women .

Aww how can we forget that hospital scene?👏 She brilliantly portrayed her pain , anger, restlessness all at once and then that immediate gratitute and empathy on being how scared and attentive even Dev was !

I really wish for these scenes too!!
