If Ishwari ji is like a guidebook on How a mother should not treat her children? then Asha Bose is like a perfect example of How a mother should treat her children?. Both are poles apart. As you truly said she is the unsung heroine of this show. There is a lot to learn from this character.I really liked her from the initial episodes itself where she always used to cheer up Sourab when ever Bijoy makes fun of his worth and his business. I always felt Bijoy is like milder version of Ishwari. I think he didn't reach Ishwari's level just because of Asha & his sane family.😆

lovely write up abd tribute to the quiet gem Asha Bose. I'm really fond of her character. For me , she is the antithesis of Ishwari. But I wished that she would gain prominence in terms of being the support for Sonakshi in this break Up, instead of concentrating on Bijoy's anger only.
Asha and Dadi are really strong characters, despite being funny and chirpy, give you a sense of emotional strength. Sona gets her feistiness from Bijoy, honesty as well. But the emotional strength and maturity is all Asha Bose.

Aww amazing post abt an amazing character by the amazing writer. .
Yes I really admired Asha bose very much and the actress doing a wonderful job with subtle expressions , homely costumes. Truly a beautifully scripted character. .
One more request ...
What u have understood about last few episodes pls pen down that also ..pretty pls..confused souls like me can get some light. .
I just love the way iswari is portrayed.I think most of the mother have that kind of feeling for their son. Knowing or unknowingly at her best she tries to play a double role in her son life as loving mother as well as self centred selfish woman.

👏 True Asha is sure a woman of substance.. Sona behaves like her at times... And Asha needs to be well utilized in driving home the message via her daughter.. When people who are not required to be vocal they are going on their top voice overriding their side of truth with their behavior.. In all this if she takes over the control in her own calm style and express her opinion being neutral at the same time voicing her concern in all this it would be great... 😃
Oops almost missed you post my dear! Naan veduvehnaa !
aaha aarputhamam!👏Yes ,completely agree with you. Very understanding mother, not judgemental at all. A good role model of what a woman should be is our Asha Bose! Your title is so apt indeed.!Here's to celebrating a fine wife, dil and mother - Asha Bose.! Truly deserving

So true. Well sketched character and really acted well.
Very strong and level headed woman. The first time I had tears in my eyes watching this show was when she got angry over Dev in the hospital post Sona's accident. What a natural actor..perfect in every scene.I hope we get more mother daughter scenes and also Asha-Ish converasations instead of Bijoy
