why surprised? Dev has used his power to get what he wants before..

1. closing all doors for Sonakshi until she had to work for his mother in his home

2. getting Ritvik's loan denied

3. buying the property where Ritvik wanted to open his clinic

4. destroying sona's first date with Ritvik and then offering to pay

sadly, he didn't do it this time.. but Sona is justified based on his past deeds!

What goes around comes around. Karma is a b***h. This is what happens with bullies. Dev always gave important to the destination but not the way. But it came back when he was really down. Poor guy. I can sympathize with him but cannot fault with either Sona or Rithik.
