Firstly I'm sorry for commenting so late.With the whole Ganpati celebrations going on...it took me really long to complete the os and comment.
Coming to the os...It was adorable.When I imagined Dev-Ansh scenes...I thought Dev will be a very indulging father which he was.But I also thought him to be someone who will just spoil his kid rotten.But now after reading this os...I like this better.It goes more with Dev's character.You showed a really good balance between an indulging father who at the same time wants to maintain a certain discipline.
My favourite part has to be where Dev was waking Ansh.I could totally picturise the scene.
Keep writing more such wonderful pieces.

Coming to your comment, Dev spoiling his son rotten... He wouldn't, I will tell you why...

It is mainly because Dev has already a one time experience before. Earlier he had nothing, and when he got, he did try and spoil his sisters rotten... And he learnt the experience too that it gets selfish. And he has started learning to balance things...

He is an indulging father, he pampers his kid but doesn't want to spoil him... He wants him to become a good child, a normal human being, and not a son of Dev Dixit. But, Devaansh Dixit. He wants to instill manners in him, and that's how a father Dev is...

I am so glad you could picturise this as well like it...
