Okay, out of everyone, Mamaji does not have the right to claim who Sona can and cannot be happy with. I thought he was a mature character, and despite how he always tries to protect Ishwari, I still thought he was always at least somewhat reasonable.
But from the precap, he is really getting on my nerves. Shouldn't he be trying to make Dev realize that Sona has the right to move on if Dev cannot be there for her? On one hand, he is telling Dev to make the right decision. On the other hand, he knows Dev would never do something Ishwari doesn't want. SO where does that leave Dev? What is the right decision? Not be with Sona AND not let her live her life? I know Dev is suffering, but so is Sona. And it was in Dev's hand to stay with Sona or leave her for her mother [I think he forgot there is a 3rd option FIGHT FOR HER, but that's the topic of another post].

So why does Sona not have the right to move on? Why can't she eventually end up being happy with someone?

I don't make posts on this forum often, but I just had to make this today. Not feeling so happy with Mamaji's character anymore

Of course there is a chance I'm misconstruing the whole precap, but these were my immediate thoughts.

Not sure if anyone will even read this now, but I'm so glad to stand corrected. The precap had me on a whole different tangent altogether. He actually, for once in such a long time, did a good job explaining to Dev the circumstances and their long-term consequences.

Though I'm still not happy with the fact that the choice is once again just on Dev, but I hope this is an upwards journey for DevAkshi 😳

I did misconstrue the precap, turns out. Though I'm still not okay with how he said she can't be happy without him, but I see his point. They are evidently still in love with one another. I just wish that he clears out the whole situation with Ishwari. She's the one who needs to mend her ways, before anything can be sorted at all.

I usually hate being proven wrong, but this show is such that I get happy when my negative assumptions are proven wrong 😆

Frankly speaking though Mamaji is confusing me these days, in the precap i felt he wanted to make Dev understand he should talk to his mother and should not sacrifice his and Sonakshi's happiness, just to make her happy.

Setting her free is another thing, but even he know Sona is rushing into a relationship just to prove she has moved on. Which is not right.

She can move on. But should take some time. With Dev still in her heart she should not rush into a marriage. She should give some time to herself and Ritvik too if she wants to get married to him. Understand eachother well and if you are sure then take the decision.

Btw, i am a huuuge DevAkshi fan. 😆 I am eagerly awaiting how the story will unfold and reach their reunion.

Mamaji, is not a character but a plot device to steer other characters.

His presense so far has only been to create drama and not to resolve things. Not unlike GKB if you think about it. He just does it in a polished way.

I suppose that is another POV. The way I interpreted it though, it sounded very manipulative. I won't lie, that's most likely because of how the members of the Dixit parivaar have been shown recently [namely Ishwari maate and GKB].

It's not that I'm against Sona taking her time to let the wounds heal. But my issue was that Mamaji's tone had a hint of instigation in it. Of course we have to watch the episode to see just how the conversation shapes out to be, and in what context he said that, but my initial thoughts weren't pleasant. I feel like no one is taking into account Sona's POV from the Dixit clan, not even Dev right now [so I feel at least].

And yes, DevAkshi = end game! Though I would be lying if I say that I am pleased with the shaping of Dev's character. But there's still hope 😛

Mamaji is a narad muni . He just stirs up trouble

First he tells, sorry "guides" dev into breaking up with sona

Then just in the beginning of the episode, he tell ishwari that whatever she is doing is completely right. She is asking him that is she doing something wrong. But he is like - ek hazaron mein meri behna hai

Now he tells dev to go after the girl again? The girl his behna cannot tolerate for a second?

He is GKB part 2.
