i hv one request to the CVs...the character ishwari is almost akin to any evil character...she has behaved badly with sona and has used many other strategies to ensure that this relationship remains in its breakup status like sending ritwik to sona's family, sending the payal, etc...but all behind dev...
my request is that dev shud come to know about all the "evil" stuff that his mom has done...it is high time dev learns to give priority to his emotions other than his love for ma and also learns to give importance to people in his life other than ma...every ma makes sacrifices for her children but in return she cant expect her children (especially sons) to remain tied to her palloo for life and mothers who expect these things r not worthy of calling a mother...no mother will ask price for her parvarish in this form...
parents bring up their children so that they learn to survive in this world by fighting all odds and finding love and happiness in other relationships beyond his own family...a mother who stops her son from doing this is betraying the relationship and trust between mother and son...i want dev to confront his mom...
if he cant say anything harsh to her then he shud admit his failure as a son that in all his 28 years he has failed to instill that trust in his mom that he is a faithful son who will always love and care for her even if he falls in love and gets married and hv kids...i hope wen dev will take the blame upon himself then ishwari will learn to give happiness to her son...
i admit ishwari has made all decisions in his life so far and they hv never been wrong and that is why dev is wat he is now...but i can also see she has gvn dev everything...strength to stand on his own feet, love and care for his family...but she has not gvn him the happiness he deserves...she taught him not to hv his own dreams but to dream only for his family...and if any happiness she has gvn him then that is happiness as defined by her...
as long as dev remains only as her son and not even brother to his sisters let alone lover to a girl she is happy and she has taught dev to be happy wen she is happy which all comes down to her own selfish desires...dev now needs to learn that his happiness is not subjected to ishwari's dictation and he shud learn to carve happiness out of his life by loving the girl he chooses...
