Why would they want to throw a beautiful plot right into the gutter, down the drain?? It makes no sense...why take such a risk??

phew this bit of news shook the entire forum, I guess even though we are shocked now, we will be pleasantly surprised when the story unfolds. I hope the makers of the show some how justify this track with some iota of sensibility .

Trying to think this out positively, makes me think that seeing Dev give up Sona for Ishwari;s sake will be the turning point to make Ishwari accept Sona whole heartedly.

As usual I dont think they will drag any track beyond 2 weeks, so lets keep our hopes high, inspite of the rubble around US.

I am just shocked after reading this...

She loved only herself .More and more of ishwari's grayness is coming out. it's simply unacceptable . Big deal ! she is getting on my nerves😡 .. emotional torture is also a very big crime.I have no mercy for her.

I already feel sorry for Sonakshi..May God give her strength to deal with this mother-son duo.

There is a saying ...".you have to pay for the sins of your father. Meaning , even innocent children have to pay for the terrible sins of their parents ."

@azeen02 you pinpointed it rightly. Also regarding the partner jealousy thing I would like to read your previous analysis on it. Link please😊.

Even I have many times compared the jealousy of ishwari to the jealousy of a romantic lover. I have felt somewhere dev takes the place of a life partner for her after her husband's death. Look at how she has not even allowed devs sisters her own daughters to come in between them. When ria asked if she could too come shopping she refused saying it is mine and devs time. For her even her daughter's are competition. And such kind of wishes are actually accepted in her family. And I would also lay the blame on dev and his sister's too. How about saying we are his sister's and we too want to experience a family shopping. And majorly fault lies with dev as he has let his mother come between his sister's and him. In cases like this if dev would have expressed desire to get his sister's along too when they wished for shopping he wouldn't have had to face this day with sona today

Oh my dear dear lord. Certainly not something me or anyone else for that matter in the forum or outside expected... i will admit that mostly the makers have pleasantly surprised us, brought in nicer twists... but this one.

There is absolutely nothing 'nice' about this. I really like and appreciate the comment quoted with this topic on the main page, and agree to most parts, however, it's not as simple as that. Ishwari is dumb.. and stupid, also very selfish in so many ways, ye toh pata hi tha, but she's such a coward, such a lowly woman, another level of careless, stupid and selfish.

I get it that she can't very easily come to terms with the fact that her son now loves someone else too. I totally get it aunty ji -_- give yourself and these kids time! I can't fathom a woman who has bared so much in life, brought up 4children all by herself... has been taking wise(ish?)decisions actually just because for some time can't come to terms with her potential bahu and son's choice... wants to commit suicide?!

Well, what I basically mean is, there were a hundred and one other ways the story could have taken drastic turns... a hundred and one. I've really lost a little for the writers right here. Right when you think there's an Indian show that is finally different and breaking the conformity of regular Indian shows, being a little realistic for a change. BOOM! they do these stupid harkaten to get me back to NEVER EVER relying on Indian soaps. Can't they EVER learn from pakistani shows? Mind you, I bet there have been suicides in pakistani shows too, and there's still a more realistic approach and reasons in defense! Way more than "omg my son's getting married, lemme take away my life" like WHAT THE f**k!?

It seriously is a JOKE... idk why Indian makers are hell bent on making their stuff a laughing stock... again all my complaints are from the writers and makers... was this the only way!? Seriougly? And is ishwari really that dumb??

Annoying old brat. Attention seeking h... MOM lol- lemme not say -_- but seriously. WHAT. A. LET. DOWN.

I truely get a weird feeling these days as I watch the mother son duo. Its more like the mother thinks of the son as a life partner and nothing less. I mean seriously!?!?!?!??! And the son is no less... He gives into each and every wish and ego of his selfish mother. Look it all started off so beautifully...and its not jealousy that I see here...THIS IS A WAY NEW LEVEL OF NARCISSISM. She only thought of her son all through her life...aaand she simply cannot allow anyone between her and her son!?!?!??!

I thought parents can become selfish but this is something else only 👎🏼

I saw this coming when she did the whole chulha-drama. Which normal mother does this?

If i was sona's family i would tell her to run away as fast as possible. a girl spends more time with her MIL than her husband. Who wants their daughter to end up with a crazy like ishwari?

Can you imagine the emotional dramas she will do every time she and sona have a difference of opinion?
