To be honest , I'll call Sona a dumb coward if she tries to be a " Meera" in this situation ... because that'll completely nullify her earlier declaration that she's a strong woman who shouldn't be taken for granted.

In reality any girl no matter how much she loves a certain guy would ever stick around for him with this kind of psycho baggage at his home and especially when that selfish psycho is supposedly the most important person in the life of the guy , the one whom he worships on an altar .

No girl's parents , no girl;s family will ever happily send their precious daughter away to such a house with a literal sword hanging atop the marriage .
There's a limit to romanticizing every thing. 🤢

Trying to think this out positively, makes me think that seeing Dev give up Sona for Ishwari;s sake will be the turning point to make Ishwari accept Sona whole heartedly.
As usual I dont think they will drag any track beyond 2 weeks, so lets keep our hopes high, inspite of the rubble around US.

Sorry I've to correct what I said previously... This can't be anyone's dream! Has to be someone's nightmare...😆

This gutted me initially...especially after last night's episode. I always felt that the makers have done good justice to the promos that have been aired so far...Hoping that they do the same. But what I'm beginning to feel is that the makers are trying to get the audience disturbed & pissed which they are doing so very effortlessly...the promo sounds like an eye-catchy ploy already...(haven't watched it yet) Otherwise why else will they need to tamper with the beautiful plot that they already have?? It's too much to lose for them when people stop relating to it or is this a TRP stunt?? Too many things running in my head now
Somewhere I don't see/feel Ishwari doing something like this!

It's an "Indian fictional" show after all... so could it be that neel kicks in anytime now? Not that Dev is gonna break up with Sonakshi right away... ishwari might admit to her insecurities or there could be other scenes that give dev hints and finally the idea, and he says till ma isn't perfectly okay, we need to take a break...
However, sona has already told dev she's hers and she isn't leaving him under any circumstances.. ie, even if/when he leaves her.. so I'm a little confused... okay leave neel.. sona's parents will be enraged too and want her to marry someone.. one day she has to give up, so she might actually go on with her life and try adjusting? Ofc we all know how it ends but... there is a possibility, yeah? And maybe then dev can finally stand up in front of his mother and pursue WHAT and WHO he likes... irrespective of how her mom has previously reacted to this..!?

I think many of us are missing the point here that from what it seems Ishwari
Isn't committing suicide in order to seperate Them but she is doing it because she feels bad for being such a bad mother and not being able to be happy for them.

She has been through a tough phase in her life and probably therefore suffers from depression a little and the only thing that got her out of that bad phase was Dev so yes she is possessive about him and that is totally realistic as not only a girlfriend can be possessive, a mother can be too. Why is that seen as bad and physchotic. Those who are mothers in this forum will totally be able to relate to Ishwari's insecurities and her guilt for even feeling so insecure.

Many of us deal with these situations and feelings where we want to be happy for someone but we are not able to.

Finally there is a show which deals with real issues rather than all the patheticness that is being shown in other programmes.

Please I request all in the forum not to be negative and spoil it for ourselves.

The beauty of this show is also that Ishwari isn't a bad person. Everyone has their own issues. She isn't the typical evil saas who is out to make her bahu's life miserable. This isn't even about Sona it's about any girl who Dev would've loved.

I can totally see myself like this in 20 odd years time. It must be really really hard to share your kids. You are no doubt happy for them and want to give them all the happiness in the world but you can't help how you feel. It's not something which is in your control. Suddenly 28 years later another girl almost replaces you(yes in your son's eyes they won't and deep down you know you hold your own place but it's natural to have these insecurities)

Ishwari committing suicide is because she is almost stuck in these thoughts where she doesn't want to feel this way but she does. That makes her depressed not a physcho so please guys lets refrain from mixing the two.

There are many women out there who deal with depression and we should take this matter with sensitivity instead of using the word physcho

Okay... No two ways about it, I am shocked... Truly shocked... I have never heard of a mother taking such steps even though I have seen mothers like Ishwari...

After the initial shock; coming to the analysis... Most of you all think it is her drama to separate her son with any girl of that sort... But I don't think so, it's not the jealousy of a Partner(I am not explaining this partner thing again), but the guilt of a mother to not have been able to accept a girl in her son's life... She is not able to see him happy with someone else...

I know this is not normal, but I understand that situation of desperation to escape from the scene to make it easier for the people around you... Any person who commits a suicide in order to bring peace to his/her loved ones' life, the intention is never to create any drama, but to put an end to it... No such person wants to wake up again in any hospital room anymore... They only wish if they can see their loved ones from above, all they want to see is that they are happy now...

I know, suicide looks like a cowardice to many... And technically, it is... You can't just quit because that's the only way to make other's life happy... It happens only in movies, like it was in Dabangg where Sonakshi's father committed suicide so that she is free from his bonds and can marry Salman... But in reality that is just not so done... There are simpler solutions to that... Either you get verbal with them and tell them that she is not able to digest any girl of any sort... somehow she is unable to take just a share of her son's love... It would be still easy to swallow... OR she can give another simpler solution, tell them to shift in a different place and live... All she wants is not to see her son concentrating on any girl... You can have your life away from my eyes; come and meet me once in a day, and that should be okay to me...

Now coming to the repercussions of this suicide attempt... All have talked how shattered Dev will be... That's true... But you know, it will do one more purpose ... It is going to shatter the Idol of Ishwari in his eyes and his heart... He will take her more humanly than Godly... He can never stop loving his mother, but won't be a devotee... Don't get me wrong, he will still serve her, but out of respect for the mother and not of devotion for the God...

This track will though bring a separation between Dev and Sonakshi for an indeterminate period, but will bring a lot of things as well... It will bring Dev's older phase back, where he knew how to balance... How he in his absolutely no nonsense attitude took care of his work, mother and sisters... And now for Sonakshi as well... He will not meet her, or even if they meet, he wouldn't be a romantic chocolaty boy anymore... He'd be the passionate man with burning eyes... Love for Sonakshi would never die...

Now coming to Sonakshi, she is Meera... Just as Meera was to Shri Krishna... No matter you become mine or not, I have become yours forever... I will live with you, and at the end of my life would be my soul joining yours... No matter if we marry or not I am yours... Again... Aap agar mujhe chodh get tab bhi main aapko nahi chodungi...

I would not speak anything further this, coz all know one day Ishwari will come to terms and that will be the time she will be on Bose's doorstep, begging for their only daughter's hand... That will happen... Mark my words... Ishwari knows how to redeem, and she will...

In the conclusion, I will quote one of the taglines used in the promo...

"Kya Hota hai jab dil ke faisle dimaag se liye jaate hain..."

Beautifully analyzed Aazeen... Yes... This track if handeld will be very painful but will get us to love the leads like our own.. anything short of death will not get Dev to leave Sonakshi. If it did, we would all question his love won't we.

Yes logically the next step for him after this would be to breakup ... But the heart wants what it wants.

I am a mother of toddler you I might not come in count where real insecurity kicks in..yes insecurity kicks in evey mother at point of time or another.my mother has gone through India same hard past without having husband by her side and bringing up three kids all alone..my MIL lost her elder son when he was 25. both have seen a lot in their life. But they never turned insecure like issue mommy .not even 10% thank god.I have seen so many women..few dont like their dil, their sons choice, dominating dIL,etc..but the way they have showed ishwari as head over heels in love with son.this is not mere insecurity. She is behaving like when best friend falls in love with BF and she should be happy for her friend but she is not because she loves him and does not want to see him with another woman be it his love of life..it might not be intention of makers but it's coming across like that only..I am still not able to understand why she has problem with another woman. Being in Dev life..?? She knows sona..she knows her son..both adore her like anything..what exactly her problem is ..because whatever I got..she never wants Dev to marry be it to anyone let alone sona..so it's super selfish on her part as well as dangerously obsessive possessiveness .it can not be justified ..because happiness comes from within..and if she can't feel happy ..problem is with her not with motherhood

This is an insecure mother .An insecure , selfish mother can go to any extent .
I m shocked how a serial can be so so close to reality.

It's not selfish. It's feelings and guilt of those ill feelings she can't deal with. Many times you say and react a certain way and you don't know why you do it but you just do. It's normal for many mothers. Your child is going away from you or atleast it feels like that, you are happy for them...you really are but yet you not able to be happy because you are scared of losing him.

Trust me I am a mother of two boys, I deal with a lot of the feelings Ishwari goes through...I even get scared to let me son go stay over somewhere...I wish I could let go but I can't. It's hard when that little Jaan has been a part of you and has always needed and wanted you. I can totally relate to Ishwari. This show is as real as it gets from a mother's perspective.

But why can't a mother have immense love for her child where she feels what if her son now starts forgetting about her. Why is that not normal. I would have the same fears. You are the most important person in your child's world, you are their life and it does almost feel like the 'other' woman situation.

It's not about Sona. She knows how amazing she is but it's the fact that she can see herself becoming a distant memory to Dev. Yes it's all in her head but it's hard to let your child go. It's not going to be an overnight change probably takes months n months.

I have seen and experienced situations where the in laws cling on to their kids and that's when the problems start anyway as the dil wants some 'space' and the in laws want to invade that space because they want to be a part of their lives all the time.

For parents too it's hard cos they suddenly become lonely as now their kids have their own family and their own lives.

It's a very hard thing to go through.
