Sisters reaction was not really shocking !!!!

After today's episode everyone is so stuck upon sisters reaction. Yes we all feel for Dev , a person who , worked for his family all his life , lived only for them , came clean about being in love ... We expected everyone to be happy for him ... We wanted to see the teasing of sisters ...

But I can't say enough about the realistic approach they are taking ... Its easier to predict how we will behave if we are given a situation ... But human behavior is wayyy more complex than we think ...

I had faced such situation in my life too ... One of my very close friend is married to my cousin brother ... And when they came clean about their relationship (obviously I was the first one knew about it in my family), my reaction was very strange ... Its not that I was not happy for him knowing the beautiful wonderful person my friend is , and for the fact that we would never part our ways now that she would be part of my family ... All these thoughts only came later ... But at first I was shocked that it was happening under my nose , and I was so concerned if it was going to work out with our very traditional orthodox family . In my case after some long discussions and arguments , and made sure how serious they were of each other , I was the one advocating for them in my family , giving them moral support , and obviously pulled their leg the most after situations became normal 😉...

Yes when somethings that we least expect happens, first we think about the implications of that change ... It's so natural ... Here as Riya said they refer them as "second class citizens" , because all of them are very much aware of the bond between Dev and mom , and for the very fact that his whole life he lived only for them , they love and respect him too much to be jealous (Not including Neha here, that topic should be up for another discussion) ...

As Neha said playfully once, Ishwari didn't even let his sisters come in between mom n son then forget about an outsider , they all are conscious about how difficult it will be for Ishwari to accept another woman in Dev's life . Forget about love , knowing their brother , they all expected if it ever happens , it would be through Ishwari only ... And here they come to know that he is in love not only that the person he is in love with is none other than Ishwari's nutritionist who was there in their house this whole time ... So its natural for all of them to react the way they did ... I am actually amazed how realistically the writers are showing these complex human emotions for me at least, it was relatable... Don't worry after this news settle in , I am sure we would get to see lots of teasing from them .

So let's take a chill pill for now and trust CVs ...

I don't think the sisters were not happy for Dev.They were but tgey never expected Dev to fall in love.The fact that he is in love and the girl is none other than Sona is very surprising for them.Maybe their happiness is over shadowed by that surprise.Apart from that Neha and Riya are well aware of the bond Ishwari shares with Dev.They know how possessive she is about him.They also know how much Dev loves his mom.They are worried not just of Ishwari reaction but also how it will affect Dev and Sona.Its just natural for girls to think in all directions.We have better power of intution and can grasp what might happen based on the reactions of peole we know.And im sure that in future Dev's sisters will be a big support for Dev and Sona.

Nice to hear different opinion. I cannot relate to it at all and hence think differently. But what you are saying is also a possibility.

I rem in the beginning Neha always had a grudge and till now she knows Her Mother never gave her imp or any of the other siblings imp compared to her Son... So who is Sona...she's an outsider

In Natasha case .. She accepted her and knew she needed that strength to share her Son.. Infant she would pray to God to give her that strength! In this case it's Dev who has brought Sonakshi right in front and declared Sonakshi the love of his life and his life partner which is very normal, but His Mom sees her as a treath... She is way to complexed!

It's really good to hear another point. I really felt bad for dev when no one happy about him and sona

Nice to see someone thinking differently, I actually feel writers have creatively put one very important thing from a girl's point of view, what if instead of Dev falling for sona they would have shown Dev's sister falling for Dev's best friend or friend.

Why rules r different for guys n girls when one's sibling falls for the same person's friend in case of guys they say - sochna bhi mat behen hai meri then why can't girls have different issue with that

Thinking from their perspective - firstly they were told by none other than GKB in a very wrong way sab mirch masala lagake where somewhere she enjoyed the fact that they didn't know hence it proves like they were not having Dev's trust with them.

Plus they also noticed that Ishwari is still not mentioning anything about it means something is wrong

Plus looking at previous record of Natasha time they might be scared that what if this time also if it repeats they might have bitter their relations with Sona unnecessarily (adults ke jhagde mei chose fase)

Plus Dev's over enthusiastic nature is making them realize how close they were since long time then why did they hide it?

Life is not a fairy tale where everything is accepted very easily.

Dev should have realized that his OTT is affecting family.
