Hi everyone, So I wanted to write some Devakshi fluff to make up for the angsty OS yesterday. Also, the makers are not giving us passionate Devakshi, So I decided to take matters into my own hands. This one's based post their marriage. Its been some time since they got married, but they still cant seem to be able to keep their hands off each other. Sonakshi has started working at the hospital again.
This one is Dev's POV:
Ding.
You're riding the elevator of the hospital where your wife works. Well, its kind of your hospital too, since you're one of the main trustees. But you decide not to dwell on the details too much. You're here to attend the trustee meeting. Well, atleast that's what you keep telling yourself. The real reason you're here is to steal a moment with your wife. You've both been very busy lately with your work schedules. So when Dr Sinha requests you to attend the trustee's meeting, you leap at the opportunity. Your thoughts drift to any number of pointless topics, though you have to admit that the number of meaningful ones has dwindled, as the doors slide open at the second floor.
You glance up from the floor as she enters, and your eyes lock. She offers you a forced smile, and you give a casual greeting. "Dr Bose" At the hospital, she was still Dr Bose.
"Mr Dixit", she replies, playing her part in your swan song, with a nod.
She pushes the Close Door button as an excuse to break eye contact; you mentally try to pretend that the tension isn't palpable and are positive that she is doing the same.
Her expression becomes increasingly pained, and you wonder, for a split second, whether you've done something wrong. After all, it wouldn't be the first time.
Your eyes follow her foot as it pops gently into her hand, and you watch as she struggles to pull her heel out the back, revealing what once must have been a blister and is now a quite nasty, bloody something.
"Foot problems?" you ask her with genuine concern. Deep down, you know that your wife's foot would have to be actually missing for her to catch your attention.
Her eyes meet yours again as she admits "New Shoes," with a half-smile.
You smirk at her, oozing with the trademark charm that comes naturally. "Want to trade?" You gesture to your own Size 11 feet that are currently clad in designer shoes.
"Dont be cute" her voice warns you, but you've already got her smiling.
Not to mention that twinkle in her eyes.
You laugh for a moment to yourself before offering, more seriously, "How about a Band- Aid?" and you don't actually wait for her response to fumble in your coat pockets for one. You lean in and let the scent of her lavender perfume linger in your nostrils as you hand it to her.
She accepts the small token, and you can tell she's trying not to shiver as she says "Thanks"
You lean down so that your lips are inches from her neck. She tilts her head so that you have better access to her neck. Your lips caress her neck, making a path all the way to her shoulder, then back to the base of her neck. You suck on the warm flesh, leaving a purple mark.
You turn her around as you press the emergency stop button. You crush your lips against her as her arms circle around your neck, pulling you closer. You fiddle with the hem of her salwar, part of you wants to rip it off her, and have you way with her then and there, but you know that wouldn't be appropriate. Instead, you slowly slid her top over her head. You caress the newly exposed flesh, memorising every curve. Her skin is soft and warm. Her soft moans against your lips makes you even surer that this is what she wants.
"Is everything ok in there?" A voice cuts in.
"What?" Sonakshi mumbles.
"Is everything ok in there? The elevator has been stationary for ten minutes." The voice repeats. Damn the security controls, you swear under your breath. She disengages herself from you, searching for her top. She hastily puts it on. You laugh at her embarrassment.
"We're fine," you say into the intercom. Thank God there are no CCTV's in here. She just rolls her eyes at you. You push the emergency stop button again and the elevator begins to move.
As the elevator doors open you notice Sonakshi has her top on backwards, you laugh to yourself as you walk out of the elevator without telling her. There's gonna be hell to pay for this later, you know that, but you're willing to take that risk.
She leaves, turning left, "Dr Bose" you repeat, as a goodbye, as you start to head right. It's an unspoken rule between the two of you that she doesn't respond.
Today, though, her voice clearly replies, "Mr Dixit", and, as you turn your head to face her, you can tell that she's grinning.
It's that single image you know will get you through the rest of the day's elevator rides and make pointless thoughts a little more meaningful.
