I don't think marriage will be on cards so soon,

I think this is what is going to lead to their separation track. Ishwari and GKB might insult them and Dev might not react or stand by Sona and family. Sona will feel bad and move on. Dev might not make an effort to correct the situation and will let her go. Just my thought...I could be wrong ..never know!!
