What you've penned down is so beautiful Arch..👏
Every relationship has it's ups & downs, but only the strong relationships will get through this. I can confidently say that Sona is very strong but Dev needs to work really hard to get to Sona's level. So that they can pull themselves through this test...Can't blame him because it's the emotional abuse that he's been used to all this while which over rides every other feeling that he has... But for him to need & want a partner like Sona for life, he really needs to change. And if that need to change is strong then they'll go through it beautifully... This is truly a test for them!!

I am rooting for two IMPERFECT individuals & their beautiful journey towards building their PERFECT relationship.😊

I am finally out of y'day's episode hangover. Let me share my 2 cents here as i mentioned in yyy's post. I feel that actual problem is not with Dev or Sona or Ishwari. I think the main problem lies in the execution part. Looks like makers took their viewers & their love for granted esp after 100th episode.

Makers made a mess out of Sona & Ishwari's characters recently(esp after 100th episode). They made Ishwari's character from a sensible person to complete sense less and non-sense person. You can understand the damage they caused to Ishwari's character when people started feeling GKB is much better than Ishwari. I felt they don't have any clarity on how to portray Ishwari when the actual story kick started.

Coming to Sona, Its good that in the past 2 episodes makers made Sona back to human with fears, flaws, feelings & confusions. Thank god that she is not any more flawless & selfless typical mahan FL of TV soaps. Each and every human has their tolerance limit and we react when that limit is crossed. There is nothing wrong wrt Sona's behavior as a normal human being. Problem lies in the way they handled Sona's character in the recent episodes. They made Sona from Delhi's best nutritionist to Dixit's house care taker. Most of her y'days dialogues are to calm down this fandom and for damage control. They made Sona from a strong, independent & head strong girl to a typical Shock absorb-er. There are many things which really annoyed me about Sona's character in the recent episodes. Like her helpless pleading when GKB was playing with her phone, silently listening to all taunts/insults or her lack of communication in their relationship. She never shared with Dev about what is happening in his absence. Even when he asked her about How is her day, she says i was thinking about u. Seriously. And she is the one who tells Dev that we need to discuss about everything and not just about happy moments to complete our relationship. She want to cut vegetables and clean palak to help Ishwari, Are you serious Sona? Before asking Dev or any other person not to take her for granted, First she need to Respect herself and her family. Most importantly, She need to respect her profession and should behave like a professional at work. She is also need to know that currently she is not a bahu/would be bahu at Dixit's house to get involve in to each and every house matter. Let them handle their mess & why she need to be there for them like a 24/7 help.

Coming to Dev, ATM i felt he is the only one who is staying in his character properly & he is the only reason why i am still not able to loose the connect with this show. It may look annoying when he is talking always about his ma & his family but his priorities are always clear. For him, his mother comes first and then his family(now this includes Sona also from his pov).

More than the actors, I love the show writers for their subtle story telling. I honestly feel writers need to pull up their socks and protect what they have built so beautifully till now in this show and not to spoil its essence just for drama. This is just my pov.

Ah! the full response... 😊

Completely agree. I think we all reacted to Sona's fiery avatar yesterday with the same enthusiastic sigh of relief. Not because she gave it back to Dev (we love him equally) but because the original Sona was back.

She lost her character and we lost her in the recent past. This was a homecoming.
The makers definitely read responses but they seem to be grappling to find their ground somehow. It was a straight on journey till 100 episodes and then as it is leading to the main story they somewhere seem confused about who their audience should be - TRP saas-bahus, youngters, progressive women, girl next door waiting to be married. They take a step forward then circle around.

yes, you are right - Yesterday's Sona was for us.

But for the story, timing of her outburst was wrong. She needs to communicate her concerns, her insults etc with Dev. How will he feel her urgency otherwise? How was he supposed to share his intimate joy when his mother has gone crazy & he doesn't know why?

A bit of a knee-jerk response to audience feedback!

But what will be key is now that Sona has spoken, how will they proceed from here.
He will confess to mother. She half-heartedly agrees. He is overjoyed and goes and tells Sona. They dance around. Then what? Will Sona come back as official caretaker, haq se? or will someone question why Ishwari was behaving this way when she already knew the truth? Try and get to the bottom of it?
Will the Boses get to play a better role in this or as Ishwari will now know, they will straight away go to her with rishta?

Makers - how are you going to build this forward keeping everyone in character?

and No, just a separation, because of mommy's dirty tricks, for Dev to realise Sona's worth in his life is not enouh. He aready knows her worth.
This is not about choosing sides. This is about fitting the pieces together.

I am having such different feelings every time I look at the scenario we have been shown till yesterday. I have been writing in so many different posts may be bcoz I am a bit disturbed at the turn of events.

I am not on anyone's side in particular ... at times I feel for Sona and at times I feel for Dev.
I don't know how to put it but may be I am looking at all of this with a very emotional perspective and not a rational one.

My mind accepts that Sonakshi did good in saying all that she said to Dev . I am happy she has come out as an independent and strong woman who is not weak and cannot be taken for granted. I applaud her speaking up coz she was bearing the brunt of it all silently.

My heart is speaking a different language though.

There are some people in this world who are emotionally challenged or in layman terms you can call them weak... which is being said for Dev...those who cannot come to terms with their innermost thoughts and may take time to express it in front of their parents or friends or even lover maybe. ...so ... what do u do with such people ? how do u deal with them? Is it ok to push them away when they need you because we are now getting fed up. I don't know the answer myself ...!

Dev is the kind of guy who will always run to Sona with every little problem / issue whether she likes it or not. He will go to her only ...its upto her to do what she wants to do with him and his set of issues. Its upto her now really coz Sona can say it ...Dev cannot ...he will not be able to ! it is as simple as that.

Since the time they have come together ...Sona is not the one who gets carried away ...he does ...she is not the one who says ...I need you ...I need you all the time but we hear it from him every 2nd scene.

Why does he say need you and not want you ? Is there any difference in need and want?? Why does Dev need Sona so much and not vice versa. I am not saying she does not love him ...she does...but Sona is not dependent on him and that was made clear to us yesterday. He is the one who is and thus he shall suffer more because his dependency is more.

Since two days he has been asking for help and has been refused bluntly on face ...its not v easy to keep admitting to someone that you are so dependent on them to move forward in your day to day life.
He had said once ...I want to take ur approval before I do each and everything ...it just goes to show how much he is relying on her.

I quite understand Sona is going through her own set of issues at home , she is feeling sad and guilty in front of her parents ...her mom is disappointed in her and she did not expect Sona to behave in the way she did ...this disappointment that Sona cannot see in her mom's eyes for her is the same that Dev cannot see in the eyes of his mom for him ! Are they not in same situation then?

One jolt at home and Sona was able to gather herself up and give it to him ...it goes on to show how much she is into her family too...yes she forgot about it all in love but she realized now and told him that she is in a spot because of him. What if Sona's parents refuse for this alliance in future, Will she be able to go against them for Dev ?

All the above is fine , I just feel that she gave up too soon on him. Just too soon ...she reached to a conclusion that he does not love her enough. Does she love him enough ?? How do we get to know this ? Is Sona sure about Dev since she now knows he really is a difficult man to live with.

So true Ruchi...Most complex things to understand in this world are human emotions.
Our needs comes from our emotional requirements and our wants are related to our physical requirements. Don't we know from starting that He is the one who is investing himself emotionally in this relationship? Isn't it the exact reason why we are worried more about Dev when ever we think about separation?

Both are imperfect individuals & Both of them did too many promises to each other till now. Now its time to see how they will live up to their words in their journey towards building their perfect relationship.

You took my heart with your words here dear..
Some time back i have mentioned the same thing in Soumya's thread. Relationships wont work based on assumptions & hiding things from each other(what ever may be the reason), It works with mutual trust, respect & communication. Whether its Dev or Sona, they need to first understand this. I think i should take a break, from y'day night i am writing like a maniac. Damn. This show and its affect on me.

I for one just want to see them talking to each other before reaching conclusions ... that will do it for me as rest shall fall in place then.

@bold: you just gave words to what I was feeling but unable to explain.👏 I really really feel for Dev, I agree He has been taking Sonakshi for granted. . But yes, that does not change the fact that He is emotionally very dependent on her. He shares everything with her, what he did yesterday was a part of that reflex. . Sharing all his thoughts with her. He was wrong of not asking her about her own feelings and family though.
I felt bad when Sonakshi said 'Nothing is perfect! Rishte perfect nahi hote. . Pyaar perfect nahi hota'
Instantly took me back to the pre havan conversation where She said 'hum perfect nahi ho sakte. .Humara pyaar perfect hai'
Her ideology about love has changed so much..because of the situation.

After replying to numerous posts on the forum, with different POVs. .I have reached to the conclusion while thinking over it that neither Dev nor Sona are right or wrong. The situation is bad.
I feel for both of them. . Both of them have flaws. .But, They are so meant to be together. . They complete each other, Literally.

Edit: In yesterday's episode, Dev was at fault for not even trying to understand Sonakshi. I will be the happiest if they talk about it before He simply breaks the news that everything is okay now. Because that would bury the core issue of their fight today. .

This is all too funny... Good or bad, this show has had its affect!!!!
I am writing seriously long posts...! damn! 😃

Writing some more...
This is what I want - Dev & Sona need to have a conversation about their reactions. ATM Dev will confess to mom. Then tell Sona then they will be all happy and then they will go back to what they were doing but there is a learning in what happened now... They need to talk. She needs to talk and both need to listen.

'You don't trust me'. 'No' - This is too big to just brush under the carpet. They need to address why she said this and what led to it. He needs to listen and in their conversation they both need to question Ishwari's reaction because now they both know she already knew. So her reaction was coming from this knowledge. This fact cannot be ignored.

If him not sharing because of his home drama leads to her loss of trust - this needs to be talked about & talked about now... as I hear there is going to be marriage discussions...
Nope! they are not ready... Phew

Amazing post. So so beautifully expressed. Nothing more to add here. I want them to have that amazing, once in a lifetime, ridiculous, consuming love! These two have the potential to become the stuff of legends. Such powerful characters come by rarely. Lets see how this story unfolds!

It's not about balance, it's about balancing...Both Dev and Sona have a different idea of what balance look like ( e.g expectations) and neither person's view of balance is right or wrong but simply based on their upbringing, personality and needs...Differences won't vanish ever but communication is the key...

My thoughts exactly... 😊
