hey guys huge thanks to all my readers there goes our 4th part

part 4

Sona was busy working in her laptop...though she doesn't have a huge medical career practically she doesn't need this job but her stubborn heart is always ready to lose her every wealth for the man she loves the most...she sacrificed her growing career by choosing this job...she wanted to be with him in his tough times...and she left everything for that only some small consultations are the sources of income for her family...

"maaa..." ved wobbled crawling over her lap thus making her smile...

"What my baby wants to do?" she asked pecking his cheeks...

"Pau..." he wobbled pointing towards his small dog soft toy...

"wah...my baby wants to play with Pau...okay...we will play...but before that, you have to drink fruit juice..." she told him picking him up in her arms...
ved always clutched her tight whenevers he picks him up as if fearing that he might fall... Firstly she thought only to help dev by standing beside him but later unknowingly she started giving lifelong commitments to this small angel...

she was unknown to this side of herself until ved came into her life...for people they are not related by blood but their souls are connected with each other in a pure bond of mother -son...

sona hugged him properly as he rested his head on her shoulder playing with her buttons...

Life is full of problems and hurdles but with him it seems nothing to be bothered about...sona thought kissing his palms tenderly...

"baby don't" sona said pouting as ved pulled her duppata she was busy making his food and not talking to him...he doesn't like it when his maa don't give him importance...

"Don't do it baby...i m making your food na...so...please be my good baby..." she said softly...and in reply ved pulled her ear once more...
she was about to say something to him when dev walked inside the kitchen and toke ved in his arms...

"maa..." ved forwarded his arms towards sona looking at her hopefully...

sona glanced dev and found him looking at ved with moist eyes...he was hurt...sona knew it...no matter how much he tried to show that he is very strong but there is a small child inside him who wants to be pampered...

"Take him...he doesn't like me" Came his cold voice...but she could easily figure out his pain in that...after his parents and natasha's death , he found his life in ved but as he can't spend more time with him, the little soul is not familiar with him...

"No no...nothing like it...he is just..." sona's words died down as he put ruby on the kitchen slab and gripped her palm to place it on ved's shoulder...
"Be with him always" he told her turning to leave...
"at least don't leave him just like you did to me"he mumbled stabbing her there where it hurts the most...

"May I come in?" sona knocked on his room's door with ved in her arms...and a plate of food...
"No get lost" came his cracked voice...

sona sighed and entered into his room closing the door behind...
"Khana Khalo dev please" she told him softly sitting next to him on his bed...

"I won't eat...nikal jao" he said sniffing...

"Please dev...tumhare pet me dard hota hai bhuke pet rehne se" she chipped dipping a piece of roti in curry and offered him to eat by her hands...

"Bola na nahi khaunga" he yelled chucking a flower vase on the floor like always...

"maa..." ved clutched sona tightly a bit afraid of the happenings...

dev looked at them apologetically then turned his face to other side as tears started falling on his cheeks making sona feel miserable...

"ved ...see I told u to eat na? Apne nehi khaya so daddy bhi nehi kha rehe hai...ab to gussa bhi ho gaye apke dad " she told ved intentionally to gain dev's attention...

"he didn't had his dinner yet?" dev asked sitting next to them...

"nope...he is exactly like you stubborn..." sona mouthed making a face...

"i m not stubborn" he glared him..."natasha was" he continued...

"Huh...as if I am afraid of you...anyways khana yaha rakha hai...khana hai to kha Lena...mai chali" she said placing ved in his lap and started to walk out of the room...

"bring his food...along with yours" he said the last words like whisper...but audible enough for her...

she closed her eyes as a long drop of tear escaped from her pupils and replied "Okay" before walking out of the room...

Dev's hurt when Ved wanted to go into Sona's arms was so painful to read. Ved's his only source of hope and happiness now, so I get why he is so possessive of him.

Dev is just so broken, poor bby!
