CHAPTER 2
DIXIT CONSTRUCTIONS
Sona parked her scooty in the parking area and then went inside the building.sona was walking and in the mean time she was busy with some of her stuffs and suddenly she bumped with someone and all the stuffs fell down from her hand
Sona-"can't you see??" and turned to that man
Man-"i am sorry, i didn't notice you" and sona noticed him doing something on phone
Sona-"kyuki aap phone pe busy thein" and started picking her belongings and the man's phone ringed and he started to leave forgetting about sona
Sona(murmured)-"manner less" but it was quite audible to the man and the man stopped and turned to sona
Man-"excuse me"
Sona-"nothing" and stood up with her stuffs and went. And the man realised why sona said him manner less because he didn't help her in picking up her stuffs.
Man-"crap!!" And went
Sona reached to the reception
Receptionist-"how may I help you ma'am"
Sona-"I want to meet" but she was interrupted by a voice from behind
Shiv-"hello, Miss Bose" and sona turned and shiv smiled
Sona-"good morning sir" and smiled
Shiv-"good morning"
Receptionist-"good morning sir"
Shiv-"good morning and she (pointed towards sona) is the new head of designing department of our company"
Receptionist-"good morning ma'am"
Sona-"good morning"
Shiv-"chalo main tumhe tumhare colleagues' se introduce kara denta hun"
Sona-"ok sir" and both of them proceeded towards working area and as soon as the employees saw shiv all of them greeted him
Shiv-"good morning to all of you and meet her (pointed towards sona) Miss Sonakshi Bose, she is the new head of designing department of the company" and all the employees also greeted her and she also greeted them.
Shiv-"chalo main tumhe usse milwata hun jiske saath tumhe mainly kaam karna hai" and they proceeded towards a cabin. The name on the name plate was 'Dev Dixit' and shiv knocked the door
Dev (from inside)-"come in" and shiv entered and sona stood there only and dev looked up as he was reading some files
Dev-"dad, aapko knock karne ki kya zaroorat thi aap aise hi aa jaaten" and stood up from his seat
Shiv-"manners" and smiled and sona entered and dev looked at her and sona also looked at him
Dev and sona(together)-"AAP" and shiv looked at them confusingly. So the man with whom sona bumped in the morning was none other than Dev
Shiv-"tum dono ek dusre se mil chuke Ho"
Sona(herself)-"aaj toh main gyi, abhi ye Bata denge ki subhah kya hua" and sona was constantly looking down
Dev-"kuch khaas nahi, bas aaj subha accidently takra Gaye thein" and sona immediately looked at dev because the response from dev was unexpected by her.
Shiv-" ok let me introduce her, she is the new head of designing department" and dev came towards her
Shiv (to sona)-"he is the MD of the company and your boss and also my son"
Sona(in her mind)-"son, pehle din hi panga Ho gya"
Dev-"hi Dev Dixit" and forwarded his hand for hand shake and broke her train of thoughts
Sona (hesitantly)-"Sonakshi Bose" and joined her hand with his. And then shiv called someone and a beautiful girl entered
Shiv-"Tina, jao Sonakshi ko uska cabin dikha do"
Tina-"ok sir, (turned to sona) come ma'am"
Sona-"nice to meet both of you sir"
Dev and shiv-"same here" and sona and Tina went outside the cabin and after sometime
Sona-"tum??" and Tina understood what she wants to ask
Tina-"ma'am main dev sir ki secretary hun"
Sona-"may I ask you for something"
Tina-"of course ma'am, aapko puchne ki zaroorat nahi hai"
Sona-"don't call me as ma'am, main tumse itni badi bhi nahi hun"
Tina-"ma'am, chahe aap age mein mere jaisi hi ho par aap position mein mujhse badi hai"
Sona-"ok" and then they entered a very beautiful cabin
Tina-"ma'am, here is your cabin"
Sona-"thankyou"
Tina-"my pleasure ma'am" and went from there and sona started exploring her cabin. The cabin was having very big window and the view outside the window was very beautiful and sona stood in front of the window and smiled a little to the beautiful view. Then she started going through some old files having different designs.
Dev's Cabin
Dev called someone
Dev-"Tina, come in my cabin" and after sometime
Tina-"may I come in sir"
Dev-"come in" and Tina went towards him
Tina-"yes sir"
Dev-"sit" and Tina settled down
Dev-"Tina, kitni baar kaha hai maine ki mujhe sir kehkar mat bulaya karo, sun kar aisa lagta hai ki main dad ke age ka hun"
Tina-"sir"
Dev-"dev"
Tina-"ok dev, humne decide kiya tha naa ki inside office dev sir and outside office dev"
Dev-"ok madam"
Note-dev and Tina are best friends. Dev and Tina were studying in same college but due some reasons she was not able complete her studies due to which she was not getting any better job. So she joined dixit construction as dev's secretary as she has knowledge about business.
Tina-"mujhe ye bolne ke liye bulaya tha kya"
Dev-"oh, main toh bhul hi gaya tha main toh vo uska naam kya hai designing head"
Tina-"Sonakshi Bose"
Dev-"kaisi hai purani waali ke tarah toh nahi hai naa"
Tina-"nahi bilkul nahi, jyaada baat nahi Hui par vo bahut achhi, simple hai"
Dev-"ok" and suddenly dev noticed that Tina smiling in her thoughts
Dev-"kiske khayalon mein khoi Hui ho, koi mil Gaya kya"
Tina-"nahin aisa kuch nahi hai, bas kuch yaad aa gaya tha"
Dev-"kya"
Tina-"miss Bose ki aur tumhari thinking ek jaisi hai"
Dev-"matlab" asked confusingly
Tina-"Miss Bose keh rahin thi ki main unhe Sonakshi keh kar bulaya karun"
Dev-"oh I see" and smiled
Tina-"main jaati hu"
Dev-"ok" and Tina leaved the cabin and dev leaned back a little on his chair
Dev (himself)-"toh miss Bose aapki aur meri sooch milti hai, saath kaam karne mein maza aayega" and smiled to himself and his phone ringed
Dev-"hello"
Mr.Khurrana-"hello Mr. Dev"
Dev-"good morning sir"
Mr. Khurrana-"good morning, actually Maine aapse ye confirm karne ke liye call kiya tha Ki when you will be able to show me the designs, so according to it I will fix the meeting"
Dev-"sir may I plz tell you after sometime actually I have to discuss about this with my designing head, hope u don't mind it"
Mr. Khurrana-"no, it is absolutely fine"
Dev-"thank you sir, get to you soon"
Mr. Khurrana-"ok, have a nice day"
Dev-"you too" and disconnected the call and called Tina
Dev-"Tina"
Tina-"yes sir"
Dev-"Tina miss Bose ko Mr.Khurrana Ki file de do aur kehna if possible half an hour Mein read kar len aur phir mere cabin Mein aaye"
Tina-"ok sir" and dev disconnected the call and get engrossed in some files.
Tina took the file to sona and knocked the door of the cabin
Sona-"come in" and Tina entered inside
Tina-ma'am, yeh dev sir ne file bheji hai"
Sona-"ok" and took file from Tina
Tina-"ma'am, sir ne kaha hai Ki if possible aap ye file within half an hour Mein read kar len aur fir dev sir se mille"
Sona-"ok I will" and Tina left from there and sona took a pencil and a writing pad and sona started reading the file and writing something on pad. And sona stood up to go to dev's cabin
Sona(herself)-"abhi sorry bhi bol dungi unhe(pause)par meri toh koi galti nahi thi(pause), phir bhi vo mere boss hai i should. Ok sona tu unhe sorry bolegi, aur sorry bolne se koi chota ni ho jata hai" and proceeded towards dev's cabin
Outside dev's cabin,sona stood there for sometime and then took a deep breath and knocked the door
Dev-"come in" and sona slowly opened the door and dev looked at her
Dev-"aayiye miss Bose" and sona silently went towards dev and stood there
Dev-"have a seat"
Sona-"sir,mujhe aapse kuch kahna tha"
Dev-"ok, baeth kar baaten karte hai" and sona sat on the chair
Dev-"yaa say"
Sona-" sir vo main"
Dev-"ji aap"
Sona-"I..am sorry sir"
Dev(confusingly)-"for what??"
Sona-"vo jo aaj subhah hua uske liye" and dev smiled
Dev-"toh aap subhah jo hua uske liye sorry bol rahin hai"
Sona-"ji"
Dev-"par aapki galti kya thi"
Sona-"vo" as she knew it was not her fault
Dev-"aaj jo bhi hua usme aapki koi galti nahi thi, it just happened accidently"
Sona-"par maine aapko vo"
Dev-"waise mujhe aapse sorry bolna chahiye, aapka samaan gir gaya tha aur main aise hi chala jaa raha tha, actually i was in little hurry at that time"
Sona-"its alright sir,aap mere boss hain aapko sorry bolne ki koi zaroorat ni hai"
Dev-"miss bose, sorry bolne se koi chota ni ho jata hai" and sona at him immediately
Sona(in her mind)-"itne bure nahin hai"
Dev-"aap kahan kho gyi miss bose"
Sona-"kahin nahi"
Dev-"agar sorry session khatm ho gya ho toh kaam kar len"
Sona-"ok sir"
And both started their discussion and had a long hour discussion
Sona-"sir, main sooch rahin thi ki pehle main mr. Khurrana ke family members se mil leti hun uske baad final designs ready karun, if you are ok with it"
Dev-"ya absolutely, main aaj hi mr. Khurrana se baat karke meeting fix kar deta hun"
Sona-"ok sir(sona stood up), now i take your leave sir"
Dev-"ya sure" and sona left from there
And after some time sona went to the cafeteria and sat on a corner table and suddenly her phone ringed and a small smile appeared on her lips
Sona-"hello, dayi maa"
Dayi maa-"beta kuch khaya"
Sona-"nahi, abhi free hunyi hun"
Dayi maa-"kya abhi tak tu bhukhi hai, chal ab jaldi se kuch kha le"
Sona-"thik hai" and sona stood up and went to waiter
Sona (to waiter)-"2 sandwich and a coffee"
Waiter-"ok ma'am"
Dayi maa-"tera office kaisa hai"
Sona-"achha hai" and waiter forwarded the sandwiches and coffee to her and sona get confused how to get both the things in her one hand as she was holding phone with one of her hand and suddenly she heard a voice
Man-"may i help you"
Sona-"no its alright"
Sona(to dayi maa)-"abhi main phone rakhti hun"
Man-"no, you carry on, main help kar deta hun" and before sona could say anything he took the eatables
Dayi maa-"achha beta main rakhtin hun"
Sona-"ji"
Man-"which table"
Sona-"aap mujhe de dijye"
Man-"let me" and sona finding no option went towards her table with him and he put the eatables on the table
Sona-"thank you"
Man-"my pleasure, waise i am aryan" and forwarded his hand towards her
Sona-"sonakshi" and shaked hand with his
Aryan-"toh, aap hai vo new head of designing dept." And in response sona just smiled
Aryan-"can i join you if you dont mind"
Sona-"ya sure" and settled down and aryan ordered for a coffee
Sona-"aur aap yahan"
Aryan-"main company ke accounts department ka head hun"
Sona-"hmmm" and in the mean time aryan's phone ringed
Aryan-"excuse me "
Sona-"ya sure"
Aryan(on his phone)-"ok main aata hun" and disconnected the call
Sona-" all ok"
Aryan-"haan, bas kuch kaam hai mujhe jaana ho"
Sona-"ok"
Aryan-"waise hamne itni baate ki, maine aapki help ki, so friends"and extended his hand
Sona-"ok" and smiled and shaked hand with his
Aryan-"ab main chalta hu aur koi help chahiye ho toh batana"
Sona-"ok" and both smiled to each other and aryan left and sona started having her sandwich and coffee and after sometime left from there. Sona was about to enter in her cabin
Dev(from little distance)-"miss Bose" and sona turned and dev came to her
Sona-"yes sir"
Dev-"mr. Khurrana ke sath meeting kal sham 5 baje ki fix hui hai"
Sona-"ok sir"
Dev-"ek request thi aap se"
Sona-"request??"
Dev-"haan, aap mujhe sir kehkar mat bulaya kijiye"
Sona-"matlab"
Dev-"matlab ye ki aap mujhe dev kehkar bulayiye"
Sona-"par aap mere boss hai"
Dev-"main apka boss nahi hun, hum saath kaam karten hai"
Sona-"par"
Dev-"par var kuch ni Sonakshi"
Sona-"ok" and dev smiled
Dev-"ok, you carry on with your work"
Sona-"ok" and dev left from there
