How is everyone feeling?

Okay so this is our new endeavor and it is a wonderful honor for me and it feels amazing to start a new phase in our beloved forum. The Rangeen Baatein Chat room.

Everyone is welcome to join us

So five of us felt that we needed a space where all of us can come together and talk about our favorite series.

Taking a few tips from Book clubs, we have thought of picking up topics for each week and then discuss them in leisure for the whole week.

Of coz this work is under progress and with each passing day we will learn something new.

Topic of the Week.

The Miss.Bose and Dr. Bose Confusion!!😛

Come one friends put on your thinking Cap and tell me what do you think of this constant point of contention. Or is it nothing to you?

We always address our Dr. with their designation title as a mark of respect and distinction. Why does Dev always forget to address Sona with her rightful name then?

He never did that to the other Doctor so why Sona?

By now we have forgiven him for forcing Sona to work in his house like a part time- helper. (lets face it that is the truth... even if he pays her in Lacs, she is a nutritionist who is doing a work of a nurse or helper)

Then he expects her to tolerate and keep quiet in front of his mami. That lady is outright insulting left right and center.

So what do you think of it all?

Come on start commenting want to hear from all of you.

okay, coming to the topic,

i think , dev is not considering sona as outsiders , thats y he want her to do some adjustments. because from only family members or from close one, we could expect such things not from others.😉

Anyhow, I was typing out a huge post there, it was about Neha I guess, and it got deleted. Since, this is a new one.

Before, I begin, I wanted you guys to consider this topic for some other week or however you plan it. Consider. That's it. XD

Mami and Ishwari have very outdated opinions about who a Bahu is.

1. Is a DIL Tulsi ka Paudha? Can any human being be SO pure and free of any vice like how pure and sacred Tulsi is? Ishwari mentioned it in the early days.

2. Should a DIL consider it her duty for life, to massage her In laws' feet? Is this necessary?

3. Should she necessarily know how to cook and do kadhai or whatever?

4. Why should she have children and learnt to be happy because motherhood is a blessing? Ishwari has said this repeatedly about Neha.

You guys can word it how you want. But, these things above incense me to NO end.

Btw, did I tell you guys, that, this idea of yours is AMAZING! I love it!

Okay, coming back to the topic at hand.

I personally, liked it better when he called her Dr. Bose. It was cuter. LOL.

But, I usually don't address my doctors with their names. We usually use just Dr.

But, I think it is wrong of him to do that. I don't know why he does it.
And, it is something, I have pardoned him for. But, I guess, being a strong, Dev fan, I really need to find reasons as to why he calls her by her name.

That said, this was taken up earlier, all nutritionists, need not be doctors. Especially in India. They do BSc. Not necessarily MBBS.

But, he must call her Dr. It is respectful and considered decorum. It is wrong of him not to do so.

The way i see it ...if she had been employed at his office he would call her dr, but just the fact that she comes to his home makes it personal...that set the tone of their relation from the beginning...
Its like some how he wanted to fix the mistake of how rudely he behaved with her...he wanted to make her welcome comfortable ?
Also at this point, he calls her miss boss just because she says so...if u hear his tone its like they have been friend for years...he would gladly call her sonakshi...

The more logical answer is that a nutrionist isn't a doctor! A nutrionist or a dietician is a like an extra two years after the BSc degree. They can be a Dr, if they are a PhD graduate. Sona is what 23years of age? 24 safe side? (I dont quite remember), that isnt enough time for her to graduate with a PhD and still be the best 'nutritionist of Delhi'

Another reason could be that Dev is a businessmen, he is used to calling everyone Miss/Mr/Sir/Mrs because of his work environment. It just might be a habit to call someone that out of habit?

Personally I still dont know why Sona has a Dr label anyways? Most nutrionist do work in a hospital but they arent doctors. I dunno actually 😕..
