Hey guys, I'm back, with another topic...

So as I was watching Friday's episode, particularly the scene where Sona is telling and ranting to Saurabh and Elina about how she lied to Dev about having a boyfriend and why, I couldn't help but think...damn, I relate to everything this girl is saying right now.

A lot of the time we associate being single with having a boring ( lame) life ( Not so much when you're young, but after you reach the 20's, being single is scary 😆). As someone who has never been in a relationship and has for most part of her life focused on studies rather than boys, I'm at the age where being single is kind of looked down upon 😆 Not in the sense that "you're a shitty human being if you're single" but more so "Aw, poor you, you're still single" and the look Sona was talking about, you know the one where they look at you like you're some creature...IT'S ACTUALLY A THING AND I'VE EXPERIENCED IT 😆

Everything that Sona was saying and expressing in that scene I could relate to ...anyone else?!

I think it's quite sad that I did relate to Sona and you on this post 😆

I am basically at a point in life where having a boyfriend is considered some sort of a progressive/"coming of age" thing you know.. Like part of the few things that one has "achieved" part from balancing studies and a part time job (which is very time consuming just so everybody knows)

But the worst part is when some random acquintance asks you "Naaaw but you are so cute, smart and witty. It's a pity you don't have a boyfriend, we could have gone on a double date.. Maybe you should go out more often?" Like stfu go away 🤣.. Maybe I am happy with my smart and witty ways without a boy to appreciate them 🤣

All in all I relate pretty badly, but it's a little bit of a confusing state... Though I am kind of happy with my single (not ready to mingle) Pringle life, I would like a boyfriend. But then I wouldn't? Loads of pros and cons you know 😆

I can totally relate to whatever Sona said and also your post! 😆
Even I've experienced those looks of the ppl who think that having no boyfriend is like the most awful thing that can ever happen to a girl in mid 20s😆 but boss! I love the way my life is right now! 😆 single and not ready to mingle 🤔

That's why I love this show soo much!! Complete reality and everyone can relate to the characters at one point or the other!

😆 Seriously! It's like go away, but its the worst when your mom says the famous "You should find someone now" like k mom, if only it was that easy...

I know what you mean! I feel like I want a boyfriend more because "I'm supposed to have one" not entirely because I want one because I love my life right now..just focusing on me 😃

The joys! My course is very big in its timeframe and I take time off to travel at times right, so my relatives in India are already like "when you graduate it will be time".. And I am like "no it won't go away"

Like do they not know the creeps that live in this world? 😆

True...I agree with you, I too could relate to everything Sona was telling the other day.
That's what I love about this show so much, when Sona was ranting about she never had a BF and how people looked at her with pity, it was something I could relate to and like you rightly put it, it's kind of scary when you're in your 20s and still single...Sona's rant was like a mirror of my own life, so I'm hoping just like Sona found Dev, I will find one just like him soon 😉

Oh my god, my school is my saving grace, literally 😆 And it will NEVER go away man, it's annoying as hell as if our only true worth is depicted once we are married. It's like I didn't spend ages in school to get married and start a family...sheesh

And ugh it's actually scary! Kind of why I want to find my guy myself and not through parents, that makes the whole situation more awkward then it needs to be.
