Disappointed with Neha's Character Development

Hey guys after watching today's episode, I had some thoughts to share about the Ranveer situation.

Am I the only one who feels weird about this whole Neha asking Dev to talk to Ranveer and make him rich because she can't live with his family and in his poverty? Ranveer is a man of great integrity and self-respect and even if the CVs made it so that he would accept Neha's conditions, I think that it would be odd to completely change someone's beliefs and character like that.

I was hoping that Neha falling in love with Ranveer would have changed her and made her want to accept him and his family the way he is. But the way she is requesting Dev to talk to him makes me question her love for him.

The way she said that if Dev talks to Ranveer and fixes this then this will be a new beginning for her Dev and Ishwari auntie... it honestly feels like emotional torture to me.

I was excited after seeing her in the last episode when she said she loved him because I thought she really changed... but I don't see only change at all. All I see if her saying that she "loves" him.

Real character development would be if she forgets about their past and accepts Ranveer and his family for who they are, instead of demanding that Dev make Ranveer rich.

I really hope that she changes in the future and accepts Ranveer just the way he is! :)

totally agree with you..I wanted Neha to accept Ranveer as is, as how Ranveer accepted her..Being rich is not the only way to be happy..

Didn't see this and posted another topic.

I didn't like her at all.

Why didn't she get a job and do something with her life and support her husband succeed as well.

I think that kind of change will come in her later. As far as Ranveer js concerned i dont think he will accept any financial help from Dev. Maybe den we will see the some change when she realises that she is happy with him. Sudden change in her would have sorted out all her inner turmoil.

Absolutely true...& totally agree wth u..Neha was a disappointment today...

The way she aid agar aap mera yeh kaam kar denge toh mai aapko aur maa k apne past ke liye maaf kar doongi...I mean wht was tht?? U r doing favour on dev dixit by loving ranveer or wht??

i felt so bad for dev tht he has to go through so much of emotional turmoil even if everything looks happy on surface...coz neha asked him not to tell ishwari..&

She literally blackmailed dev emotionally ... & proved dev right indirectly tht she is use to such luxurious life ... I feel she's still same nothng has changed her if she had truly luvd him..she would hve trusted him , firstofall discussed with him nd then shld hve taken decision...

Jus wanna see how ranveer will react & whether neha will change her mind abt making ranveer rich with help of dev..

Yes I agree with you... what she thinks as true love is not true... coz she wants materialistic pleasures and is not ready to accept ranveer as he is... I appreciate and like ranveer because he might be poor but he never cribs about it and has self respect and neha by doing this is going to hurt him really badly

It would have been weird if she hadn't demanded this from Dev. 😆

It was quite expected and im looking forward to Ranveer changing her view on life. Yes, she loves him but we can't expect her to change completely in one night.

Neha fears poverty and I would love to see how Ranveer makes her see the world in a different light rather than through how rich or poor a person is.

I would love to see her get a job! However small the job maybe, it would be a great addition to her character! It would definitely be a good lesson for her!

I don't think Ranveer will either! And I hope that this forces her to move on from her past so she can be happy with Ranveer. I'm sure it'll take time but I'm excited to see it!

Yeah that condition she posed irked me the most. Like "I'm gonna continue hating you if you don't convince him and make him rich"?? HOW is that fair?
