I would find it funny if they would use less on the language. The cousin does look like a bengali girl though. 😛 but speaks more like a non residential Bengali.
Sona is a delhi brought up girl she, realistically, she would not use sooo much of bengali in her daily life. Esp. big words like oshobho seriously. could have been more like silly animal words... like chagol, tiktiki and kochchop... dimm Maatha ! could have been hilarious coz he would think she was calling him DIM in english!!
or Mr. pouchaa!! which could be sooo funny.
I am a Bengali from Lucknow and I know how much we avoided speaking in Bengali other than with my parents and grandparents. Even with my brother I would speak a mix of Hindi, English then some Bengali.
Especially coz I am a gazal (Galib and Rumi ) crazy.
but the story is so much fun with multiple aspects of family, work and behavioral aspects that cant keep complaining about bhaasha issues. 😊😊
