Natasha is being projected as a perfect potential bahu for the Dixit family...she is everything that Sona is not.

Sona is a carefree, bighearted and extremely honest girl who doesnt let other's perception of her bother her...she is what she is. No fakeness.

Natasha knows how to cook which Sona doesnt. Natasha is that typical, demure, coy girl which Sona isnt. (and that is why Sona appeals to us more because she comes across as REAL.)

Natasha belongs to a influential family, has a good sense of business...Dev's partnership with them will mean more success for Dev (which Ishwari will definitely want)...whereas Sona is an employee whose earlier, more dignified job has been snatched away and she is now relegated to serving fruits, juices and food to the members of the Dixit family.

(While I love this show a lot, I really hate how Sona has just become a serving waiter for the Dixit family.)

So, right now Natasha will definitely appeal to more to the Dixit family...or rather Ishwari.

Its another thing that other than her business skills, she doesnt have any effect whatsoever on Dev.
